Maybelline Colorshow Creamy Matte Lipstick

Shade- M304 (MYSTERIOUS MOCHA)
Hey guys! How have you been? This week, seemed pretty long due to the fact that festive season got over and colleges re-opened.
I’ve reviewed Maybelline Colorshow matte lipstick few posts ago, if you wanna read that too, here’s the link- http://lyfabubble.blogspot.in/2015/12/maybelline-colorshow-creamymatte.html

If you’ve been reading my blogs, you’d know how I try to stay away from any dark bold lip shades. For everyday basis, I like to keep it somewhat between neutral to soft pinks or peaches. I didn’t own any n*de lip shade and I’ve had my mind to opt for a soft brown with slight pink undertone to it. I had initial doubts on whether it would really suit my complexion or not. I researched a lot before actually hitting (not literally) the counter. There was a dilemma in my mind on whether to go for the shade “Lively Violet” or “Mysterious Mocha”. So I took my close friend along with me to help me out.

I’ve already reviewed how its texture is and its staying …

Bblunt Curl Definition Leave in Cream

Hello people! Today I shall be reviewingBBlunt Curl Defining Cream.
Firstly, you know how BBlunt has recently swamped Indian markets. I’ve never bought any BBlunt product before and this is that initial purchase. I booked my order from Amazon and got it at a discounted price. The retailing price being Rs 550 but I got it for Rs 460!
I’ve heard the saying “Time utilized, is time consumed” but I guess with Amazon, it also goes- “Money spent, is money saved”.  *WINK*

The product comes in a bright plastic packaging which is quite girly yet bold. It has a pump dispenser which helps in not wasting the product. There is a skater girl’s head printed, without the facial features. *UNUSUAL*

The cream isn’t too thick or too runny, it’s of somewhat moderate consistency and looks like a conditioner would. It smells great but that fragrance is short lived. Now you must be wondering how this is to be used. Once your hair is washed and damp, you gotta flip your hair upside down and scrunch the hair using …
India got its Independence in 1947; today we have entered the year 2016. Although we have successfully freed ourselves from the clutches of the colonizers, we are still greatly entrapped by the dominance of patriarchy. As much as we claim ourselves to be feministic, we cannot forego the blame in sustaining the same mindset within ourselves from which we’ve tried to run off. Patriarchy is like that wild plant whose stem, even if segregated from the original root, still manages to spread its stem out and forge a new plant.
There are so many people around us who are still tied to the roots of patriarchy which breeds in the marshy lands. Even though they might look usual in the crowd, but once you spend an hour at most with them, you’ll clearly sense the evil that lurks behind their innocent face. These species are dangerous than those of the earlier times, because they’ve learnt to manipulate others in order to hide their designs from those around them. Silently try to hear their argumen…

Spawake BB Cream in 01-Perfect Glow

Hey guys!!

In winters what I love the most is that the makeup doesn’t get washed away by our sweat. But applying foundation on everyday basis isn’t something I like, thus I resorted to buying a BB cream. I’ve usedGarnier BB creamlong back ago, and somehow it coincided with the time just before I got acne. This has made me believe that perhaps it doesn’t suit me, and I don’t wanna try it out again because risking my facial skin would be too much for me to tackle.

I’ve tried multiple BB creams that are easily available in India. Most of them have made me look yellow or darker than my original complexion. To give it a shot, I picked upSpawake BB Cream. One reason for picking up this brand is because I really liked their face wash.

This BB cream comes in two shades, which is certainly a negative point. The one I picked up is 01-Perfect Glow. It is meant for fair complexion ladies while the 02- Natural Glow is for wheatish skin toned beauties. The product contains SPF 25/PA ++ and gives str…

Winter Skin Care Routine

Hey Guys!! A week ago, my life was intruded by Acne!! This made me wonder what has been going wrong in my diet or skin care routine; I realized that I forgot to adapt myself to the new weather conditions. There are different requirements of our skin during summers and winters. Although in summers my face imparts a lot of oil, in winters it gets dry. I have combination plus acne prone skin. It is definitely advisable and a good idea to alter a few products in your skin care routine when the weather is juggled.

Here is what I included in my Winter Skincare Routine and it made a huge difference within a week itself-

1.) Spawake Moisturizing Face Wash: I’ve reviewed this product a while ago and that same tube hasn’t got emptied by now! This face wash is mild enough to not over dry your skin, at the same time it cleans out the face squeaky clean, leaving no makeup (waterproof) or dirt behind. Usually in winters when I wash my face, it gets stretchy and dry, but that hasn’t happened to me thi…

Aroma Treasures Argan Liquid Gold Hair Spa

Hey Guys!!
Winter is a harsh weather for our hair and skin. It is important to expend extra time in taking care of them in this season. This is why I thought of buying a hair spa kit. I have thin hair and anything too heavy makes them limp. Besides that, I try using less chemicals in order to save them from further degradation.

I saw this kit on Nykaa and wasn’t aware that it is a sample size kit. It retails for Rs 150 and can serve you for two uses, until and unless you have quite a long hair. The kit comprises of-            ·      A hair oil            ·      2 sachets of shampoo            ·      2 sachets of conditioning masque            ·      Nourishing tonic
           ·      Leave-on serum

Let my now share my experience with this hair spa.
My intention was not to use all the products on the same time as my hair isn’t frizzy and the volume of it is quite limp. Thus, I used hair oil, shampoo and conditioning masque; which itself made my hair look weighed down.
