Pears Soft & Fresh Soap

Hello lovely ladies,
Have you ever made a purchase exclusively for its freebie gift? This purchase of mine was surely one of those kinds. After all, who doesn’t love free gifts?

When “PEARS” launched an offer to give out “Disney” inspired neck-pieces along with their “Soft and Fresh Soap”; I firmly decided to get it, just for the sake of this freebie! The name “DISNEY” itself was enough to tempt me (animation fan anyone?) The neck-piece that was displayed in the advertisement looked beautiful. So when I visited my local market, I inquired about this soap with limited offer. I asked only on one counter and they had stacks of these soaps lying around. The shopkeeper asked me- “Madam is it (freebie) for some child in your house, because these are high in demand by toddlers these days”. He was unable to see the child in me ( :-/ ). Call it being extra dramatic! :p

When I saw this neck-piece, I felt deceived. The one shown in advertisement looks high grade, especially its chain. Anyways, when…

Affordable Eyeshadow Blending Brush

TINGE MAKEUP BRUSH REVIEW
           (EYE BLENDER BRUSH)

Hey all!

I had been for so long searching an affordable eyeshadow crease blending brush. I am planning on visiting Krayolan store in near future for more makeup brushes but because I am unable to take out time, I ordered this at the comfort zone of my house (heights of laziness!)Few days back, I was on Snapdeal, looking out for eyeshadow brushes. I encountered this ‘’Tinge Eye Blender Brush’’, which retailed for Rs 260 (plus Rs 30 as shipping charges). I have seen these brushes on Amazon and Flipkart too, but even on inclusion of shipping charges, Snapdeal was comparatively cheaper. Plus, if you select the option of Cash on Delivery on Amazon, they charge approximately Rs 50 extra. Dude, why charging double shipping rates for non- card holders?

Anyways, without further adieu, let’s get onto the review. I ordered this on August 07, 2015 and received it on August 09, 2015. It was faster than my Flipkart order! This item came in a bubb…

REPUTE OF WRITERS IN INDIA

Hello literature lovers,
Today, I encountered a lady who asked me- “What’s a necessity of wasting money and time in order to do post graduation in literature if you want to be a writer? Being a writer involves special talent which emerges as soon as you breathe your first in this world” I couldn’t answer her back then. Now, when my mind happens to recollect it, I wonder why is there a need for people to study engineering in order to build site maps, etc. They could also have been talented by birth.
I know writing is a creative field, you might be born with its talent; but doesn’t that talent need modification? If engineering is a course of technicalities, so is literature. Literature deals in widening every human’s horizon. Had literature been trash, then why do people rely on it to soothe their minds before going off to sleep? Why are million and gazillions of people engrossed in reading novels while they are traveling? There definitely ought to be some connect-ability with real world t…

Sivanna Colors Shimmering Brick (SHADE 02)

Hello lovely ladies, Makeup should always be enabling, rather than restricting; this is why I always adore products which can be used for multi purposes.

There are various shimmering bricks available in Indian market by brands such as ‘Colorbar’, ‘Revlon’, ‘Bobbi Brown’, etc. Shimmering bricks provide you with multiple shades of highlights in just one product. ‘Colorbar’ and ‘Revlon’ shimmering bricks retail for approximately Rs 800 to Rs 1000. This is the reason why I never invested into highlighters. Another reason is that, Delhi is so humid in summers that you’d definitely get your cheeks glimmering with sweat if you stay away even for 5 minutes from fan, cooler, AC, or whatever.

I ordered “Sivanna Colors Shimmering Brick” from Flipkart and mine is shade number 02. This product is usually available at the price of Rs 320 (on Flipkart), but that day they had slashed its rate further down to Rs 292. And guess what? I immediately ordered it! I placed my order on August 02, 2015 and recei…

Chamki Nail Paint

The word “Chamki” has been derived from Hindi word “Chamkeeli” (‘glitters’ in English). “Chamki” is a yet to establish brand which has launched its nail paints as of now. These nail paints are not widely available. You can buy these from-     ·     www.flipkart.com     ·     www.myntra.com
Marketed by- Bliss Boutique Pvt. Ltd. (Bangalore, India) Manufactured by- Fiabila India Ltd. (Taloja)

“Morepankhi” is a beautiful glittery peacock blue color. The shimmers look quite granular, but on application it still is smooth and glossy. It has visible golden sparkles which are finely ground. The texture of this nail paint is smooth. One coat of this nail paint itself is opaque. If you apply two coats of it then it would stay perfectly well for 2 to 3 days. I was quite amazed that this lasted me for three days even when I washed few utensils and kneaded dough.

Overall, I would definitely recommend it.

HOW IT FARED FOR ME-
Well honestly, I felt a little hole burning down my pocket while buying this. Ignoring that fact, let’s focus on the mist. Victoria’s Secret Body mist comes in a plastic perfume bottle which is travel friendly and fall-proof. Pause. Let me take a minute to describe the beauty of this mist. The liquid formula is plumish pink in color and it smells heavenly. There are ro…
