First Attempt @ Smokey Eye Makeup Look

It’s been such a long time since I am a proud owner of Maybelline the N*des Palette. (Reviewed here- http://lyfabubble.blogspot.in/2015/12/maybellinethe-nudes-palette-hey-guys.html)  I don’t know why, but until yesterday, I failed to see a black eyeshadow sitting there in the second row right corner. Perhaps, I was too mesmerized by taupey brown and two variants of gold that the plain black went unnoticed. On its discovery, the first thing that came to my mind was to try on a smokey eye look. I am no makeup professional, so if I managed to do it, then it’s definitely an easy beginner’s Smokey Eye Makeup Look. So let’s start, shall we?
  1)Prep your eyelid by dotting some foundation/concealer/eyeshadow primer. I’ve used Makeup Revolution Matte Concealer Stick in the shade 01- Fairest. Incolor Colour Crayon Creme (E-01) in Black

If you’ve been reading my blogs, then you must be aware about the freebie gift that I received on my order of Incolor Matte Me lipstick from Flipkart. I received Incolor Colour Crayon Creme in black colour. Firstly, it doesn’t resemble a crayon because eyeshadow or lip crayons are usually not so sleek. It appears like the old style wooden eye pencil wherein, you have to sharp it, to obtain a pointed tip.

This eye pencil retails for INR 150. With the abundance of good eyeliner pencils in Indian markets, capable of being water resistant and long lasting, I expected this to be something equivalent to their Incolor Matte Me lipstick in terms of quality. The Incolor Colour Crayon Creme comes in a decent all black packaging with labelling done in silver. The problem with wooden eye or lip pencil is the product gets wasted upon sharpening but I had sharpened this pencil twice and there emerged no wastage, only the pencil shavings.
