Deyga Organics Products Review: Tea Tree Toner, Rose Scrub and Rose & Geranium Body Butter

Deyga Organics Products Review |
My keenness to try out new skincare/makeup brands has helped me to connect with you guys out there for last five years. Yes, I started blogging in 2015 although it was in complete isolation and for the first year I wasn’t really doing anything to promote my blog. For that matter, I never seriously told people about this and only my parents knew about it. I consider myself lucky that my parents were supportive of it the whole time; they even helped me in taking pictures, would critically comment about my photography, help me get new backdrops and listened to my blabbering when I was clueless about the technicalities of blogging like SEO, etc. Although sometimes I have to cut down my time on other things to pay attention to this blog, it’s been so close to me all the while that neglecting it keeps bothering me. So, I’m still inconsistent with my posts but behind the scenes, I think I’m doing pretty much fine by doing and reviewing things that I want to, instead of being swayed by the pressure to push out content.
Before
it turns into a ‘what I learnt over the past five years’ post, I’d like to go
back to the reason why I’m here today. A couple of weeks ago, I received my
courier of Deyga Organics and as usual, I took my sweet little time to try out
the products and jot down my opinion on them. As this post will include my take
on three of their products. So, please help yourself to a hot/cold beverage or
snack before going forth.
Let’s
begin now, shall we?

Deyga Organics Tea Tree Toner Review |
Deyga Organics Tea Tree Toner Review
Description: Tea
Tree Skin facial Toner remove any makeup and impurities, which can clog pores.
The toner minimizes the appearance of pores, thus leaving the skin clean, healthy
and refreshed.
Ingredients: Steam
distilled tea tree leaves
How To Use:
- Spray directly on your face to hydrate and refresh your skin.
- Take an amount of tea tree toner on a cotton ball and gently apply on your face.
- Can be used to dilute face packs.
Price: INR 490 for
100 ml
Shelf Life: 6
Months
Packaging:
The
toner comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a dispenser that spritzes out an adequate amount of the content. Due to its see-through packaging, you can
always tell how much of the toner is left. The packaging overall is convenient
and you can travel along with it, although travelling nowadays is prohibited on
account of the surging coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The new normal is
travelling from your bedroom to the drawing-room and maximum to the balcony! 😂
My Experience:
Until last year, I wasn’t really into toners or mists but nowadays I’m paying special attention to toning my face. I also discovered that the best time to apply toner (your first step of the skincare), is when you are still in the bathroom and your face is semi damp. This is one of the reasons why I have kept one of my toners there and the remaining in the closet. When I started using the Deyga Organics Tea Tree Toner, I was battling with a few of hormonal acne that greets me every month even when I hate them. The texture of this toner is pretty much like water owing to its ingredient and it doesn’t feel heavy on the face at all. I spritz some of it and after that I proceed with the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum. Over the time I have noticed that this toner helps me in preventing minor breakouts that happen due to humidity. Also, it didn't burn a hole in my pocket so I’m overall really happy with this one.

Deyga Rose Scrub Review |
Deyga Rose Scrub Review
Ingredients: Native
Rose Petals, Lotus Petals, Beetroot Extract, Semolina, Aloe Vera Powder and
Rice Flour.
How To Use:
- Wet your skin
- Scrub over face/hands/legs or elsewhere
- Leave it on skin for 60 seconds to absorb
- Rinse off.
Price: INR 570
Packaging: Deyga Rose Scrub
comes in a plastic tub that has a screw-open lid. Most of their products have
similar packaging format and they do mention all the vital details required for
an aware consumer, such as price, ingredient, net weight, etc.
My Experience:
Initially,
I thought it’s their body scrub, but thankfully I always read about the product
before using it. As stated in the ‘how to use’, I decided to scoop out the
scrub from its tub, which is in dry form, and mixed it with water since monsoon
is making everything humid and I wasn’t willing to put anything hydrating
except a moisturizer. Firstly, I was slightly disappointed with tub packaging
for a face scrub because there came no spatula or wooden spoon along with it. I
mean, it would have been a considerate idea and the user wouldn’t have to run
around to get a spatula of their own while using the product. Now, I’m not sure if I was supposed to add more
water or leave the concoction for a couple of minutes to combine better, but
when I used it, the particles of the scrub kept falling off my face. It not
only was almost off my face while I was halfway through exfoliation but it also
created a mess. After I washed off my face, my skin felt smooth and radiant.
However, going through that hassle again during the process doesn’t make me
look forward to reusing it.

My Experience:
I’m not sure how this is even possible, but I have an extremely oily face and scalp. On the other hand, my hands and legs are extremely dry throughout the year! For most of my life, I’ve skipped on lotion and sunscreen, which is why I developed a lot of tanning on my hands when I was in graduation and I had to travel every day in DTC bus. That can also be because the ladies side was also where most of the sunlight would enter when I’d be heading to my college and in my school days I played almost everything in the ground even when it was scorching outside. Now, that I’m trying to mend my mistakes from the past, I have religiously started applying lotion/body butter, especially fancy ones so that I don’t skip on them. When I opened the Deyga Rose & Geranium Body Butter, I was expecting its fragrance to be very prominent, but it is not as it has no artificial fragrances, which is, of course, a good thing. The texture of this body butter is slightly on the heavier side but it melts quickly into the skin. To be honest, it has oil-like feel once it’s melted but without the stickiness. It did work well on my extremely dry skin. However, I feel people with other skin types would consider it appropriate for being used in winters instead of summers or monsoon.

Deyga Products Review (Conclusion):
Now that people are becoming aware of ingredients that are being added into their skincare products, brands with natural ingredients are selling out like hotcakes. Deyga Organics is also one such brand that manufactures its products using all-natural ingredients, which is why I had to give them a try. Based on my overall experience, I came across both good and average products. I think their Tea Tree Toner is my personal favorite as it helped me in keeping my skin free from small zits. On the other hand, their scrub didn’t make it to my personal favorites. Its formulation has room for improvement, which I hope the brand takes into consideration. Lastly, I have heard a great deal about how good their lip balms are so maybe I’d try them out next time.
