Innisfree Products I'm Currently Enjoying (Oily & Acne Prone Skin)
By Bhawna D. - May 08, 2020
Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
A couple of days ago, when I was
working on the Mini Thailand Skincare Haul, I realized I had a lot of products that I recently purchased and
incorporated into my skincare routine. But till date, a lot of them have not
had their share of appreciation from my end. Some of these products are from the brand ‘Innisfree’. [Please Note: This blog post was written before the lockdown was imposed.]
Launched in the year 2002, Innisfree
is a South Korean brand that distributes its products across countries, such
as Hong Kong, Japan, China, Taiwan, India, the United States, Thailand, Vietnam and
Australia. In India, their products are available offline as well as online on
e-commerce websites like Myntra, Amazon
and Nykaa. Please note that their products are generally not available on
discounted rates. Therefore, whenever you want to purchase their products, make
sure to do your R&D, visit offline stores to try out their testers and
finally pick their products from wherever you are comfortable.
For
several years, I’ve personally categorized this brand as ‘high-end’ but when I
actually compared their prices with other much-hyped Korean brands, these are relatively affordable.

begin with today’s blog post on Innisfree India. Shall we? 😊

I’ve been trying this for around 2 months and I’m almost about to empty the bottle. I was suggested to use this
with a cotton pad but I keep switching the way how I use it. However, I generally pour some of the toner in my hands and tap it
onto my skin because it helps in ensuring that I do not waste the product. I’ve been really enjoying
using this toner and I top it off with different serums depending on the requirement of the skin.
Please note: This product contains
alcohol as its second ingredient after water. If you are trying to refrain
yourself from using alcohol-based toners or combining it with glycolic acid or
AHAs, then avoid picking this up.

My Experience:
Now, I’ve
seen a lot of co-bloggers both rave about this product and call it mediocre as well.
If you ask me, in terms of results, it does provide results which any other
face mask would offer, i.e. cooling sensation, refreshing feel and oil-free
skin. It also helps in calming acne and slightly reducing their
size. But what I love about this face pack is that it gives your skin a beautiful
canvas for applying night time skincare products. Although it’s a clay mask, it
doesn’t leave your skin parched of hydration but of course, you can’t and you
shouldn’t skip on a serum/moisturizer afterwards. Since I have been applying this
mask, I’ve actually seen apparent on my skin, which is why it has become one of my favourites in a really short time! 😊
