The Beauty Rituals November FAB Bag Unboxing & Review

Hello everyone!

It’s that time of the year again when the Indian houses are sparkling with string lights and marigold garlands. Diwali is almost here in a few more days and then we’d have a series of festivals. In short, the binge eating of chocolates, desi-ghee sweets, and dry-fruits continues. 😍 Anyways, coming back to the post, today we will be unboxing the November Fab Bag which arrived to me on the 31st of October itself. I’m glad the courier makes it way to my house a little early so that I can prepare Instagram stories and blog posts in advance. So, without more blabbering, let’s begin the review.

Price: INR 599/- per month

Subscription plans are available for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.
(Relatively, longer subscription plans are more cost-efficient. To get a much better deal in the 6 months and 12 months subscription plan, feel free to use the Coupon Code - “BHAWNA10”.)

November “Beauty Rituals” Fab Bag:
With all the chaos going on during the preparation of Diwali and other festivals, I tend to eat a lot of sugar-based food products. This plus the changing weather condition leaves my skin with a lot of acne. In general, the anxiety factor and less hours of sleep leads to skin dullness as well as puffiness under eyes. Thus, the “Beauty Rituals” fab bag is an ideal theme for this month’s subscription.  Little time devoted to skin pampering will make our faces glow naturally. There are a total of 5 products in the bag and amongst these you will find 2 makeup items, 2 skincare items and 1 hair care item. To know more about these, scroll down a bit and keep reading on. (Trust me, you wanna know what all is there in the bag. 😏)

November 2018 Fab Bag Unboxing:

sugar-born-to-wing-gel-eyeliner
Sugar Born to Wing Gel Eyeliner in Roadhouse Blues

πŸ€Sugar Born to Wing Gel Eyeliner - 02 Roadhouse Blues (Full Size: INR 599)
In the mid week of the October, these gel liners were launched by the brand Sugar. I was seeing a lot of the influencers on Instagram flaunting these on their eyes. Coloured liners are such a great means to oomph up your makeup look and make you stand out from the rest of the crowd. After watching the convenient packaging of these liners, I was quite eager to buy these liners because my eyeliner brushes always end-up vanishing in some corner of the vanity. And when the need for winging out my liner emerges, I fail to find the appropriate brush. I’m so glad that I received Sugar’s Born to Wing gel eyeliner this month’s subscription box. Can’t wait to do some creative looks using these!

fuschia-clarifying-gel
Fuschia Clarifying Gel in Orange & Lemon

πŸ€Fuschia Clarifying Face Gel (Full Size: INR 250)
It is not the first time when I have encountered skincare products from the brand Fuschia. In fact, their products are quite frequently seen in several subscription boxes. When I unboxed the product, I was astonished by the color of the gel. It appears lemony-yellow in appearance and glides onto the skin very easily. It is very light-weight in texture which makes it suitable for combination to oil skin type people. If you have dry skin, this alone will not suffice the skin’s dryness in the colder months, however, for summers you’d wanna reach out for it more. Some of the ingredients of the gel are aqua, aloe vera, marigold flower extract, lemon oil, sweet orange oil, grapefruit oil, carrot seed oil and vitamin E.

purple-essentionaturals-face-mask
Purple Essentionaturals Face Mask

πŸ€Purple Essentionaturals Face Pack - Winter Cherry, Rose Oil, Liquorice and Holi Basil (Full Size: INR 360)
I am a skincare hoarder and I think my world will be barren without the presence of pre-made face masks. The brand - Purple Essentionaturals is comparatively new for me and I’ve not heard of it before. Upon unscrewing the lid, I sniffed the fragrance of the mask and it seems to be inclined more towards the herbal side. The mask makes my face oil-free and I do like the soothing effect it caters during application. It washes off pretty quickly as well. Thus, I’m happy on receiving a face mask for pampering my skin. After all that jazzed-up makeup looks, something to revive the skin is a must have for this season!

sebamed-anti-dry-revitalizing-shampoo
Sebamed Anti-Dry Revitalizing Shampoo

πŸ€Sebamed Anti-Dry Revitalizing Shampoo
Few months ago, we did receive a body wash from the brand Sebamed. I recently added it into my list of empty products and I must state that I have thoroughly enjoyed using it. I’m yet to try the Anti-Dry Revitalizing shampoo but from the name itself, I’m assuming it’s meant for hydrating the tresses in order to eradicate frizziness from the hair.

sugar-smudge-me-not-liquid-lipstick-toast-roast
Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick in Toast Roast

πŸ€Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Sample - 42 Toast Roast (INR 170 for 1.5 ml)
On the 25th of October, I received the makeup selection email wherein a total of 15 shades were given and after a lot of research, I managed to pick up the shade - 42 Toast Roast which was described as deep reddish-brown. I have a lot of pinks, maroons and browns so I was thinking of getting a violet shade by the name ‘Mia Sangria’ but that wasn’t a part of the selection email. This sample lipstick bottle is so tiny that you can carry it with you almost everywhere in the pocket or bag. Though tiny, even the applicator is made with a perfect finish and application is not at all a hassle.

  1. Love your Fab Bag unboxing every month. This month's products seem average only to me. I was expecting better brands since this is Diwali edition. So kinda disappointed...

MamaEarth: Shampoo + Conditioner Review | Happy Heads & No More Tangles

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜„ I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” πŸ˜‚
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Fab Bag August 2018 "Own the Glam" Unboxing & Review

Surprise is the greatest gift which life can grant us.
Do you like surprises? I bet, you can’t say no to that.
Surprises are one of those quickest means of breaking the monotonous patterns of our lives. When I come back home from work, finding a courier onto my bedside table is what pumps up my excitement level. And this is exactly what happened on the evening of 31st of July. I kinda had a hunch that I’d receive my fab bag earlier this month, but getting it before the month actually starts, feels amazing! So without more jibber-jabber, let’s begin with the Fab BagAugust 2018unboxing.
