*PR Sample but all opinions presented are honest.

Hi Guys,
Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

If I remember it right, it’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a facial cleanser. Don’t worry; today’s blog post will be my take on the dermavive hydra cleanser. It is an Australian brand which has recently launched its products in India. All of their products are can now be purchased from e-portals such as Amazon and Flipkart. I've checked out their complete catalogue and another product which intrigues me is from their hair care range - Hair Enhancer Shampoo. I'm assuming its meant exclusively for people with straight and limp hair, like mine.

Anyways, dermavive face wash is an ideal pick for people who have sensitive or acne prone skin. It is endowed with the goodness of oatmeal and causes no breakouts at all! If you prefer handmade skincare products, then I guess we have another alternative for you - Skincarevilla Oats & Almond Cleanser. But since this post is concerning dermavive hydra cleanser review, without further adieu, let's begin further -

Dermavive products are curated especially for dry, itchy and irritated skin. It contains natural colloidal oatmeal which is a scientifically proven ingredient and provides several beneficial features for managing and treating dry skin conditions. Moreover, it restores the normal pH balance of the skin and maintains natural acidity of the skin, thereby protecting it against dryness. Further, it also works as a skin protectant and enhances the barrier of the skin.Since these products are used in managing and treating people with dry skin problems, there is no fragrance added and the odour is the natural odour of the colloidal oatmeal. While the odour maybe present while smelling it directly from the tube. After applying it on the skin it becomes odourless. Some people appreciate the odour while others don't.

Best suited for - All skin types particularly dry, inflamed, sensitive and mature.

A unique preparation, combining the multi-action properties of Natural Colloidal Oatmeal so as to protect the stripping of essential oils and hydrate the skin; while eliminating excess sebum, dirt and other particles. ❤It is endowed with emollient properties which makes it a tremendously amazing moisturizer.
❤Apart from this, it contains anti-oxidants as well as anti-bacterial properties that helps in reversing the damage caused by sun

SLS, soap, fragrance, parabens and lanolin.

The dermavive face wash comes in a cuboid carton box which has all the information that you would be interested in gathering. Inside you will find the actual cleanser packaging which is in the convenient tube form. You can easily dispense out the required quantity of the product by lifting away the flip-open lid. The complete packaging has a colour scheme of green and white. Other variants of the cleanser may have a different colour scheme. The tube of the cleanser seems quite huge and it definitely is travel-friendly

My Experience:
When you are acquainted with the fact that your skin falls under a particular type, you don’t usually pick up products that aren’t exclusively dedicated for you! For some reason, I always feel that not only is my skin oily and acne prone but it also shows traits of a sensitive skin. Majority of the products fail to suit me and getting bumps here and there is so frequent that I steer away from products which I have zero knowledge about. The brand recommended to me this cleanser after I mentioned to them my skin issues. One thing which struck me since then is their response that this particular cleanser would work well for me. And there seemed no harm in trying though.

As soon as I got my PR package, I couldn’t curtail my excitement and I gave it a shot! After a time frame of ten days, I decided to write down my experience concerning dermavive hydra cleanser. The first thing that would gather your attention is the fragrance of the product. This cleanser has a strong fragrance of oats and the brand claims it to be having natural oats fragrance instead of a chemically synthesised one. Coming to the texture and colour of the cleanser; the product has an almost a transparent colour with faint yellow tinge to it. The texture is somewhat runny instead of a gel like consistency. Also, the product is devoid of SLS and soap which is why the cleanser foams decently but not extremely lathery like other drugstore face cleansers.

For use, I take out liberal quantity (as mentioned on the packaging) and rub it between my palms to create some foam. After which, I massage my face for 20 seconds or so and then I rinse it off using normal water. Initially, I presumed it to be slightly hydrating but I’m extremely glad by the fact that it takes off all of the grease and dirt from the face, leaving the skin soft and smooth to touch. Apart from this, it instantly brightens up the skin, making it look supple and cleansed. The only downside being, this cleanser fails to take off your waterproof makeup. On days when I apply my gel eyeliner and mascara, it left behind a lot of traces of the same. But that happens with a lot of mild cleansers, which is why I resort to my Garnier micellar water for taking off the makeup and then I head for the facial wash using this face wash.

💙The packaging is simple, convenient and travel-friendly.
💙It foams decently and is free from SLS, soap, parabens, fragrance, parabens and lanolin.
💙Takes off grease, dirt, pollution and oils; leaving behind a healthy glow.
💙The fragrance is devoid of chemicals.
💙Complete list of ingredients has been stated.

👉The fragrance might be strong for some people’s preference.
👉It does not take off water-proof makeup.
👉Lastly, it is definitely not a budget-friendly cleanser.

RATING: 4.4/5 (0.2 deducted for every con)

I loved the effects of dermavive hydra cleanser on to my skin. But unfortunately, while picking my facial cleansers, I would usually keep a budget of 100 to 250 or maximum 300 bucks. A cleanser priced at INR 800 would make me feel as if my money is going down into the drain because of course a facial cleanser won’t last you beyond a time frame of three months. At this price point, you’d probably order an eyeshadow palette that will serve your more three years straight! It would be really great if the brand works onto reducing the price of their products.

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!
