Bloggers Event: #PoutItRight with Jaquline USA's Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints
By Bhawna D. - May 01, 2018
Welcome back
to the Glistening Lane ✨
Last month,
I was invited by the team of New U
(Dabur subsidiary) on their launch of Lip Pop Matte Tints. I’ve been to their
events before and previous one, I presume, was the release of their BB Stroke Nail Enamel. Now they have also incorporated some vibrant matte shades by the name ‘Back2School’. I must warn you to go
visit their stores ASAP as this range has a gorgeous mint shade which I’ve
never seen amongst affordable Indian brands!
The event took place in Smoke House Deli at DLF Place Mall Saket (Delhi) in the afternoon. The place had an amazing decor with quirky walls and an interplay of white and grey theme running everywhere. With around 50 bloggers, we got to try out different shades of Lip Pops and nail lacquers that were recently launched in the New U store. I was so excited that I got rid of my texture nail paint then & there and tried the shades that were placed at the counter.

The Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints are available
in a total of 5 shades to choose from and they are available at INR 499 on their outlets, across India.
I have three of their shades which I got in my goodies at the end of the event.
Stay tuned till the end to know more about the event.
Shade Names:
💙Orange- Pop
💙Cherry-Pop
💙Peach-Pop
💙Pink-Pop
💙Red-Pop
The shades that I received are 02-Pink Pop, 03-Orange Pop and 05-Peach Pop. Amongst these, my favourite has to be the shade Peach Pop! It is a beautiful everyday pink with brown undertones nude lip colour and you’d probably find it 3 days a week in my office bag. I once experimented with the other two shades and mixed them together; they made such a good hue. The shade Orange Pop is somewhat a burnt orange that can be paired along with plain outfits for that “pop-of colour”. Lastly, the shade Pink Pop is a fuschia which I haven’t tried as of yet. One thing to note is, the formulation of these crayons is superb! You don’t have to worry about applying a layer of lip balm underneath as it glides well onto the lips. To get the best of both worlds, the crayon sets into semi matte finish after some time.
Before I forget to mention this, Jaquline USA Lip Pops are retractable crayons. You don't need to pack a sharpener while travelling with these. Also, sharpening crayons and lip pencils make me feel as if a lot of the quantity is being wasted in sharpening their tips.

Events are
one of those opportunities wherein we get to meet our co-bloggers from whom we
share bonds since years and acquire inspirations. It’s as if they can be
labelled as our second family because not everyone can guide you in this
profession of blogging. Thankfully I have a list of these close friends with
whom I can chatter day-in and out. But of course time constraints of leading
another professional life refrain us from having a long chit-chat. Events are
more or less our catch-up time wherein we weave memories together.
