Fab Bag ‘Spring Kissed’ April 2018 - Review & Unboxing

Hi Guys,
Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

As soon as the end of a month comes closer, I start anticipating about the products that will pave their path towards my vanity via the Fab Bag subscription. With the advent of spring, I bring to you my take on Fab Bag April 2018 subscription bag. And with that, the theme of the month has already been revealed! So what is new this month, you must be wondering?

This month, the Fab Bag is swayed by some floral vibes. Apparently, there are 4-5 different pouch colours with beautiful as well as vibrant flowers. Unlike the usual rectangular shape, the shade of the ‘Spring Kissed’ pouch shortens as it reaches the flap closure. You’d also notice that there’s no zip this time but a press-click button. I am unsure as to what will go inside it for my storage purposes; please feel free to leaves some suggestions. It might work for carrying my ointments or lipsticks.

To diffuse further curiosity, let’s begin with the unboxing.

Theme of the Month: Spring Kissed

Price: Rs. 599 per month

Products In My April 2018 Fab Bag:

Manna Kadar Lip Locked Priming Lipstick (Full Size: Rs. 1799)
You guys know that each month, there’s that one makeup product that grabs pretty much all my attention! By the way, who wouldn’t love a makeup product? Fab bag has never failed in catering good makeup products and initially it was that sole subscription box which helped me in developing a good makeup collection. This is my first Manna Kadar products and I’ve never tried this brand before. There were two lipstick variants which were available with 3 colour shades each. Instead of the lip crayon, I decided to go ahead with the priming lipstick as I pretty much prefer long lasting lipsticks. The shade that I picked is Serenity which is a beautiful everyday pink. The Manna Kadar Lip Locked Priming Lipstick glides onto the lips quite smoothly and it's somewhat semi matte in texture.

Mond’sub Crystal Collagen Eye Mask (Full Size: Rs. 200)
If you’ve been hooked to my blog since a year or so, you would be aware about my experience in the past with the sheets masks from the brand Mond’sub. I’ve been eyeing their under eye mask and finally I’d get to try this one out. Although, I don’t have severe under-eye circles but who doesn’t love pampering themselves, especially on those gloomy days when you want to isolate yourself from negative people or situation. And if I haven’t mentioned this yet, I did love their gold sheet mask and this is again from the same range. Some of you might receive a lip mask which is quite innovative! P.s. do let me know in the comments down below as to what mask you received this month.

Nirvaana Handmade Pure Aloe Vera Gel – Rose (Full Size: Rs. 50)
Two months ago, if I’m not wrong, we did receive a charcoal soap from the brand Nirvaana. To be honest, I’ve been introduced to this brand only via Fab Bag. Aloe Vera gels are something that my oily skin never complains about. Although I had my share of bad experiences with the green variant of Patanjali Aloe Vera gel, after that I did learn what brand variants actually work for me. Bonus being, aloe vera gel are not at all greasy and thanks to its gel consistency, my skin does not sweat like crazy post application. Also, rose is an ingredient which helps in calming and soothing any inflammation or burning sensation. I’ve intentionally kept mine in the refrigerator so that it gives a cooling sensation to my skin. Lastly, it’s pretty affordable as well, which is great!

Bliscent Lip Scrub – Pineapple Kiss (Full Size: Rs. 200)
I have used a lip scrub in past and even though it can be easily re-created using products that are lying in abundance in your kitchen; I’m too lazy to make one. Bliscent is regarded as a great brand and one of my lovely co-bloggers literally suggested that she immensely loves this lip scrub and indeed it is one of the best! Also, these come in 3-4 variants and I got the pineapple one. I do love pineapples so no hardships again. Have you tried any of the products from this brand?

That’s it for today’s blog post!
In case you received the same products, I would love to hear your take on these 😊😊

Let’s Socialize: YouTube | Instagram | Facebook Google+

Much Love ❤

  1. Got totally same products :D Hi5

  2. Interesting products in this month's bag. Loved the glass bottle. Did you make it??

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Bloggers Event: #PoutItRight with Jaquline USA's Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints

Hi Guys Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Last month, I was invited by the team of New U (Dabur subsidiary) on their launch of Lip Pop Matte Tints. I’ve been to their events before and previous one, I presume, was the release of their BB Stroke Nail Enamel. Now they have also incorporated some vibrant matte shades by the name ‘Back2School’. I must warn you to go visit their stores ASAP as this range has a gorgeous mint shade which I’ve never seen amongst affordable Indian brands!

The event took place in Smoke House Deli at DLF Place Mall Saket (Delhi) in the afternoon. The place had an amazing decor with quirky walls and an interplay of white and grey theme running everywhere. With around 50 bloggers, we got to try out different shades of Lip Pops and nail lacquers that were recently launched in the New U store. I was so excited that I got rid of my texture nail paint then & there and tried the shades that were placed at the counter.

The Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints are available in …
