MamaEarth: Shampoo + Conditioner Review | Happy Heads & No More Tangles

Hi Guys,
Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!

My Take on Mamaearth Happy Heads Shampoo:
When I first received the shampoo and conditioner duo, I was pretty happy after reading the label and complete ingredient list. Moreover, the name of the shampoo ‘Happy Heads’ appeared quite intriguing. The image on the bottle of long haired animation, reminds me of Disney’s Tangle movie. Before reviewing this duo, I tried it several times in different circumstances to figure out how it works best for my hair. My hair type is straight as well as thin which may get slight wavy at the ends and the scalp is almost oily, especially in summers. In winters, I still need to wash my hair on the second or third day itself. The happy heads shampoo has no colour and apparently it is a clarified shampoo. I take more than two pumps as it does not lather or spread quite easily, owing to the fact that it isn’t SLS based. The shampoo alone may make your hair slightly frizzy if you skip upon a conditioner. Just a shampoo did not turn my hair soft or smooth and a conditioner is a must! I like to keep the shampoo on my head for a minute or two, as mentioned on the packaging, after which i rinse it off with lukewarm or normal water.

No More Tangles Conditioner – Milk Protein, Cocoa Butter & Fenugreek

Net Weight: 200 ml

Price: INR 349

My Take on Mamaearth No More Tangles Conditioner:
In summers, I ditch upon my conditioner as my hair are fine and thin which makes them lack a lot of volume once I condition them. But since summers are not here yet, I gave this conditioner a try. It smells amazingly well and has a milky white colour with a slightly creamy texture. In comparison to other quite hydrating conditioners, this one does not weigh down my hair. Although, sometimes I feel it does make my hair frizzy if I don’t apply a generous amount. This was also the case with my Inatur’s conditioner. It’s a perfect conditioner for someone who has an oily scalp and would want a not-so-moisturizing conditioner for summers. In winters I’d probably not use this conditioner until and unless I feel like to switch from the conditioner that I’m using currently. Do I immensely love this? No, it’s probably an average conditioner for me, nothing too great or fancy.

Overall Rating: 3.7 (as a combo)

Would I like to repurchase it?

Probably not the shampoo and conditioner but some other skincare item like their under-eye cream or face mask.

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Things Bloggers Are Tired of Hearing!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
In my everyday life, I come across several people who have certain “prejudices” towards the blogging world. Ironically, half of the people who interact with me on an everyday life are unaware about my blogging life. And if the truth be told, I choose not to disclose it to any and every other person. No, I am not ashamed! Probably there’s some fun associated with weaving an image of a mysterious personality. But again, it’s also because people tend to link every behavioral trait with blogging. Say for instance, I don’t interact much with people and that’s only because I fall under the introvert personality; who knows that the next minute they’d assume “Oh, she isn’t very friendly because she’s too proud of her internet life”. My answer to them “Madame, I’m pretty much a child of a human world; internet is definitely not my only zone”.
Within this post, I’d share with you guys some of the weird questions that I’ve heard at least once in my th…
