What’s in My December 2017 Fab Bag | Unboxing + Coupon Code

Hi Guys,
Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

It’s been a while since I’ve placed an order for my Fab Bag. Even though I love experimenting and trying different subscription boxes; there’s no denying that Fab Bag offers some innovative makeup items in their subscription box. Every month, Fab Bag usually brings a newly launched makeup item, especially from Sugar Cosmetics which hands down has some superb collection that I would want to hoard them consistently in my vanity.

In fact, some of the good quality makeup items which I received in my college age were resourced by Fab Bag itself. I might not be appealed by the skincare items a lot because majority of them are from new budding brands which most of the time has no internet presence. Also, receiving small samples has also been one of the turn downs for me with Fab Bag. But for makeup, nope; I have zero regrets! πŸ˜ƒ I’ve still got the Be A Bombshell Eye Shadow Crayon, Be A Bombshell Lip Stain & Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Skin Therapy OilLately, I've been using the Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil {deluxe sample) which I got exactly a year ago!

Theme of the Month:
The Blend the Beauty – The theme of the month has been associated with blending as the star product of this month would require you a little blending to enhance your festive look!

The Bag:
This month’s Fab Bag is what I would call ‘Indian Wedding Ready’ appropriate. It is a clutch with some engraved circular patterns and there are apparently 4-5 colours within this. The one is I received in bronzy copper colour.

Contents Received:
Sugar Blend the Rules Eyeshadow Quad – 18 Scandalous (Full Size: Rs. 699)
Alanna Desiccated Coconut and Saffron Skin Brightening Scrub (Sample Size: Rs. 340 for 20 grams)
Bella Voste Premium Nail Enamel (Full Size: Rs. 249)
Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Cream (Sample Size: Rs. 26 for 10 grams)
Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak (Full Size: Rs. 200)

Sugar Blend the Rules Eyeshadow Quad - 18 Scandalous

The choice was given for picking up the shade we want. I selected the shade Scandalous as it had some amazing crease blending colours and two glittery shades of golden and purple. I’ve never owned this kind of purple so I went ahead with this. I also had in my mind shades like Disturbia. For me personally, this is the star product and Sugar recently launched their eyeshadow quads. And I’m a fan of their quirky prism lady packaging. The quad looked so pretty to me that I have not yet touched the eyeshadow shades! πŸ˜…πŸ˜… But I've heard these are buttery soft. 😍

Alanna Desiccated Coconut and Saffron Skin Brightening Scrub

Initially, I couldn’t detect what this product is because mine had a ruined label. I’ve never tried Alanna products before but this sample is too small and pricey; so I hope it’s worth that much expenditure. Anyways, this scrub has a short life but I was astonished to detect no manufacturing date. By now, when anything isn’t stated onto the packaging, I feel things aren’t as good as they ought to be.

Bella Voste Premium Nail Enamel

Before I got my Fab Bag, I watched few YouTubers getting Bella Voste Premium Nail Enamel in a greyish white nude shade. Some time back, I’ve got a lot of nude nail paints and I was not excited about the shade. This was supposed to be my first time for trying out raved Bella Voste products. Thankfully, I got a different shade and its Christmas & New Year perfect with some glitters disco dancing inside the bottle! πŸ˜„

Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Cream

There are some intriguing products from this brand that I’m yet to try out. This sample is perfect for keeping in your everyday college or travel bag. But I don’t know if I’d be really using this or not; I’ve seen myself ditching mini samples and using only full size products until it’s a brand like The Body Shop

Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak

I was only recently introduced to ideas like foot soak and bathing salt when I was experimenting with my Lemongrass Essential Oil. When I saw Bliscent Peppermint Foot soak, I was quite keen because firstly the size of this product is really good; much appreciated! Also, the colour of this soak is pastel blue. I have had days wherein I’ve returned home with sore feet, especially after events. I so want to use this now and thankfully since it’s winters, there would always be some hot water in the tap to cancel out my laziness! πŸ˜…πŸ˜†

  1. This month's fab bag is nicely curated! would simply buy this for the Sugar eyeshadow alone

  2. Nice products. But wonder why the label is ruined in Alanna scrub. I have faced such issues with Fab Bag before which makes me wonder if they are old products...

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜„ I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” πŸ˜‚
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Things Bloggers Are Tired of Hearing!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
In my everyday life, I come across several people who have certain “prejudices” towards the blogging world. Ironically, half of the people who interact with me on an everyday life are unaware about my blogging life. And if the truth be told, I choose not to disclose it to any and every other person. No, I am not ashamed! Probably there’s some fun associated with weaving an image of a mysterious personality. But again, it’s also because people tend to link every behavioral trait with blogging. Say for instance, I don’t interact much with people and that’s only because I fall under the introvert personality; who knows that the next minute they’d assume “Oh, she isn’t very friendly because she’s too proud of her internet life”. My answer to them “Madame, I’m pretty much a child of a human world; internet is definitely not my only zone”.
Within this post, I’d share with you guys some of the weird questions that I’ve heard at least once in my th…
