New Launch - BB Stroke Nail Enamel by Jaquline USA (NewU)

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hi Guys,
Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

I love Bloggers Meet up; especially for the fact that you get to be a part of new launches and devote time for a real conversation with some of the co-bloggers which have remained your virtual friends for so many years!! I kid you not because this literally happened in my case twice within this week because of few back-to-back events. Therein, I met Amy, Ms Meehnia & Prachi; whom I’ve only been seeing (till then) on Social Media and their respective websites. It was a steal opportunity, I must confess! Make sure to check out their website/YouTube as well for some exciting posts.

The team of NewU was kind enough to send me an invite for one of their brands Jaquline USA because they were launching BB Stroke Nail Enamel launch. In case you guys don’t know, NewU counters offer you a heaven of Skincare, Cosmetics and Accessories. They are literally my bae when I want to pick some makeup items. Also, they also have brands on their racks which aren’t easily available offline like Makeup Revolution, BBlunt, Tony & Guy, etc. In short, a must visit place if you’ve not been there till date. They have their own mists as well and a recent addition of some sheet masks which I’m yet to try. For the nails, they have incorporated Jaquline USA last year.

Jaquline USA has some amazing nail care products which have not been available in India for the longest time ever. Ordering them online from International websites may result in huge shipping charges and uncertain quality. They have some intriguing products like Nail Growth Oil, Insta Dry Top Coat, Peel off Glitter Base, etc.

We all love our BB Creams for their dual benefit of hydration plus some coverage. Walking the same path, Jaquline USA came up with their BB Stroke Nail Enamel which gives colour to your nails and at the same time provides nourishment. Thus, you get Colour plus Care. And no, this ain’t no Hair Colour Commercial! 😅 They have in total 6 shades within this range. The shade names are –

01 - Creampuff

02 - Biscuit

03 - Vanilla Spice

04 - Nut Cake

05 - Chai Coffee

06 - Caramel Drop

The brand’s team was kind enough to give some of the shades to all the bloggers present within the meet up. In total, we all got four shades from this range and the shades I got are 02, 03, 04 and 05. Initially I was sceptical as to how these would look onto my hands because I’m kinda tanned on my hands and arms. But once I tried all the shades, I indeed loved these! I won’t be giving a detailed review within this post but in case you want one, feel free to drop down a comment. You can grab these at NewU counters. As of now, these aren’t available on e-portals.  I’m not sure but I think these are priced at INR 225.

So, go ahead and grab these shades if you like them from your nearest New U counters (if available), and posts your opinion & experience with these intriguing shades in the comments down below. ;)

Sugar Ace of Face Foundation Stick in 25 Macchiato - Swatches & Review

Shedding away all my laziness 😂😂
Here I am today, scribbling a blog post on one of my recent makeup purchases from the brand Sugar Cosmetics. In case you guys don’t know, I was awestruck by makeup hoarding addiction again and ended up buying more than what I initially intended. Although I had my eyes glued on their Smudge Me Not Lipstick in the shade Wine & Shine (Sangria), I also managed to pick up their much-hyped Ace of Face Foundation Stick! This particularly base product was first launched with 6 shades but now they have introduced 22 shades that will go absolutely well with almost all Indian skin tone. And no, that isn’t just a false claim like another well known Indian brand which we’ve seen since our childhood.
Let’s dive into the review without any digressions!

MamaEarth: Shampoo + Conditioner Review | Happy Heads & No More Tangles

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!
