Hi Guys,
Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Now who doesn’t want a luscious crown of tresses? Even if you’re a guy reading this, you too get worried about hair fall. But don’t worry; none of us are alone in this. With rise in stress, pollution and degradation of water quality; we all have began to encounter majority of hair problems. Early greying, hair shedding, dandruff and what not! Rigorously rubbing nails isn’t a successful solution for everyone as well.

Since long, I’ve been eyeing for one perfect answer to all my hair troubles. When I was in school, my hair strands were fine and thin but there wasn’t much problem concerning volume in hair. But now as I’ve completed my post graduation, my thinning hair have started to lose their grace within the ponytail. I know the fault also lies within the genes and environmental factor yet I never stopped trying something new that claimed to stop hair fall. In my hunt, I did notice that people who eat fish tend to have healthy hair. But even in my envious feelings on this, I couldn’t break my vegetarian diet for this.

Sometime back, I collaborated with HAiROOTZ as soon as I got to know about their tables for healthy hair. They were kind enough to send some samples to me as well. I shouldn’t disclose this but my hyper-active mind weaved imagination of me having my healthy tresses again. But I was disappointed as soon as I noticed the red dot onto the packaging. Being a vegetarian, I avoid products that have been classified to contain non-vegetarian ingredients.

Today’s post is not going to encapsulate my personal experience with this product because of course I told you the reasons beforehand. Instead, I’d introduce you to this product by Dr. Reddy’s so that you know if you want to give it a try or not. Before beginning, I need to clarify the fact that even though I approached the brand for collaboration; the brand did not ask me to review this product as soon as I shared with them my concerns as a vegetarian. Thus, it’s going to be a short post today and I hope you like the fact that I am not reviewing anything without having prior experience with it. So without more delays, let’s see what this product can potentially do -

Hair Loss and its Causes:
Hair Loss is a very common condition and affects more than half of the adult population. It is seen in both men and women. Hair loss can occur mainly due to any of the following factors – Pollution, Stress or Lack of Nutrition. These can cause the hair to become weak, dull and lifeless; thus accelerating hair loss.

Why Does Your Hair Require Nutrition?
When it comes to hair growth, nutrition plays a very important role. When you eat different nutrients, your body doesn’t immediately target it for hair growth. Instead, it pools its available nutrients together and based on its needs at that time appropriates nutrients where they are needed the most. So if your diet is lacking in protein, iron, zinc or biotin; the available nutrients will be used for more vital bodily functions instead of hair follicles, thereby starving the hair of required nutrition. Moreover, pollution has ill effects on your hair follicles by oxidising them, which needs to be counteracted by supplementation of specific antioxidants, present in HAiROOTZ EVA.

How does HAiROOTZ EVA work?
HAiROOTZ EVA is a gelatin coated tablet (Softlet), which contains Biotin, Folic Acid, Grape Seed Extract, Vitamins and Minerals. Biotin and Folic Acid helps in preventing hairfall by providing weak hair strands with essential protein needed for growth. Vitamins and minerals helps to nourish brittle and greying hair. HAiROOTZ EVA also contains grape seed extract which has 20 times more effective anti-oxidant to fight the ill effect of pollution, which has adverse effects on hair follicle.

How Long Will It Take To Reduce Hairfall After Starting HAiROOTZ EVA?
At any time, about 90% of the hair on a person’s scalp is growing. Each hair strand has its own life cycle. This may get influenced by pollution, stress and lack of nutrition. Hence, it is important to provide sufficient nutrients to the hair so that your hair remains in the growth and transition phase for a longer period despite so many adversities. After taking HAiROOTZ EVA for 90 days, significant reduction in hair fall is expected, because less hair strands will move into Falling Phase prematurely.

  1. Hair supplements are good for reducing hairfall. I have taken Biotin tablets before. But this seems to have a variety of vitamins. Hence more beneficial...

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Things Bloggers Are Tired of Hearing!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
In my everyday life, I come across several people who have certain “prejudices” towards the blogging world. Ironically, half of the people who interact with me on an everyday life are unaware about my blogging life. And if the truth be told, I choose not to disclose it to any and every other person. No, I am not ashamed! Probably there’s some fun associated with weaving an image of a mysterious personality. But again, it’s also because people tend to link every behavioral trait with blogging. Say for instance, I don’t interact much with people and that’s only because I fall under the introvert personality; who knows that the next minute they’d assume “Oh, she isn’t very friendly because she’s too proud of her internet life”. My answer to them “Madame, I’m pretty much a child of a human world; internet is definitely not my only zone”.
Within this post, I’d share with you guys some of the weird questions that I’ve heard at least once in my th…
