Greenberry Organics: Daily Detox Charcoal Gel Mask | Review, Price & Buy Online

Hi guys 😊

So, few days back I reviewed, for you all, the Greenberry Organics Daily Detox Face wash which was launched by the brand quite recently. Soon after, they also introduced a gel face mask in the same range. Now, you all know how charcoal masks have swarmed the International market lately & since then the YouTube industry plus a lot of bloggers have gone obsessed with charcoal masks and their DIYs. I’ve tried Inatur’s Charcoal Mask but therein the only problem that emerged was the failure to remove the mask once it has gone dry. It would somehow get into slight scars that I have; thanks to the battle of acne which was fought more than 2 years back & thus they remain defeated! The remnants of charcoal mask wouldn’t even budge after I’d rub the towel post wash. And unfortunately, it gave that ashy look which we all DON’T DESIRE for! Since then, I’ve kept charcoal masks into various corners of my house.

You’d probably wonder, why am I reviewing the GBO Daily Detox Charcoal Mask? Duh, being made of charcoal; it worked out well for me! So without further blabbering, let’s begin with the review.

Description: Pollution, debris, it's a wonder skin can breathe! Greenberry Organic's Daily DETOX Charcoal Gel Mask works double time to detox skin. First, naturally purifying Activated Charcoal helps absorb oil and impurities without over-drying. Then, Green Tea Extracts protect the skin from the damaging effect of free radicals. With other added goodness of Jojoba oil, Clove oil, Tea Tree oil, Vitamin C and E, this mask works as a shield against dust and pollution, releasing antioxidants and bringing the skin inflammation visibly down.

Aqua, Aloe Vera, Juice, Activated Charcoal, Pentavitin, Green Tea Extract, Jojoba Oil, Clove Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Vitamin C, Fragrance, Gel Base, Vitamin E

How to apply: Use the product on a slightly damp face as a mask, apply all over the face liberally (Avoid direct contact with eyes, mouth and nostrils). Let the product stay for 10 - 15 Minutes. Slightly damp the face with Greenberry Organics Miracle Face Mist or with normal cold water. Wash the product off the face gently and slowly. Feel the difference.

Note - The product contains 100% Natural Ingredients. May cause slight irritation to some. Patch test recommended. Natural products may have seasonal colour and property changes. Store in cool dry place. Keep out of the reach of children. Not to be used internally. If contact with eyes, rinse with cool water immediately.

Price: INR 695

Buy Online: You can get this face mask at much discounted rates on various e-portals.

Packaging: This mask comes in exact same packaging as their new Mud Ash 3 in 1 Face Care. The colour scheme of this and their Detox Charcoal Face wash is pretty much synchronized. Jar of this mask is made of transparent plastic through which you can view the amount of content that has been left inside. All the details concerning the product have been stated on the label. There’s an additional layer of plastic sheet which works to guard the content from spilling onto the back of the lid and create hassle plus mess.

My Experience:
For the first time, I used this using my face pack brush & I love how things go hassle free and quick upon using a brush. Also, if you use a brush, chances are that you can even go for a thin layer while applying your masks. But based on my experience, I feel with this face mask, it’s better to use the fingers and apply liberally then work in small strokes via brush. The fragrance of this and their Charcoal Detox face wash is also identical; can be described as slight menthol like, and refreshing. On appearance the mask, as stated within the name itself, look like a gel of black colour which is somewhat greyish black in colour. The ingredients which make it apt for combination to oily skin plus with acne vulnerability are – Aloe Vera Juice, Activated Charcoal, Green Tea, Clove Oil and Tea Tree Oil.

Upon application, for initial few seconds you might feel slight tingling sensation but it wouldn’t prolong much. To me, any products when it gives slight tingling sensation, I assume it to be casting its magic onto the skin to make it more flawless and in this case gunk free! GBO has launched this range of product to reverse the effects of pollution that people of city almost undergo each day without realizing. Since this is a gel mask, it wouldn’t complete go dry and you can keep it for 15-20 minutes. While washing it, I loved how smooth and hydrating this gel mask felt. Like there’s that kinda gel which feel more of water but this one was quite adequately perfect. All charcoal traces get washed up quite easily within few water splashes and you’re left with brightened and clean skin. The excess oils have been taken off but without making the skin dry. To sustain the natural moisture within the skin, there’s aloe vera and jojoba oil endowed within these jars of Daily Detox Charcoal mask

▶Comes in colour coded - travel friendly packaging
▶Leaves the skin brightened and glowing
▶No dry patches endowed
▶Get’s removed quite easily
▶Contains some amazing ingredients

👉Price again! Keep an eye onto Amazon or Flipkart to see when you can grab an amazing deal!

Rating: 4.8/5

Final Verdict:
I’m definitely up for a repurchase for this! The mask works really well to give that clear skin without turning it overtly dry and stretchy.

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Things Bloggers Are Tired of Hearing!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
In my everyday life, I come across several people who have certain “prejudices” towards the blogging world. Ironically, half of the people who interact with me on an everyday life are unaware about my blogging life. And if the truth be told, I choose not to disclose it to any and every other person. No, I am not ashamed! Probably there’s some fun associated with weaving an image of a mysterious personality. But again, it’s also because people tend to link every behavioral trait with blogging. Say for instance, I don’t interact much with people and that’s only because I fall under the introvert personality; who knows that the next minute they’d assume “Oh, she isn’t very friendly because she’s too proud of her internet life”. My answer to them “Madame, I’m pretty much a child of a human world; internet is definitely not my only zone”.
Within this post, I’d share with you guys some of the weird questions that I’ve heard at least once in my th…
