Hi Guys,
Some days back, I took off from the blogging work & decided to do something which can probably make for another blog post. But not like those I usually post about. Consistently doing product reviews got me bored, so today I'm sharing with you guys my experience to Haristo Cafe wherein I've had some amazing time! Without further adieu, let's begin. 😊
P.s. Food Imagery Ahead Alert! 😆

Story Behind Haristo Cafe:
They say you
can’t make everyone Happy, you are not a Pizza. Yes, the Pizza Saga has always
been popular in our culture. But, every Pizza lover knows how hard it is to
find an Authentic Thin Crust pizza in NCR. The same search led to the birth of Haristo in December 2014. HARISTO is a
charming Pizzeria Cum Cafe that offers an exquisite range of Italian and
Lebanese Cuisines from the surroundings of the Mediterranean. The cute
Interiors offer you a visit to European street side Pizzeria. Unlike those run
of the mill outlets serving you thick refined flour in the name of Pizza,
Haristo will take you to a Heavenly Journey of Authentic Thin Crust Pizzas.
Meaning of Haristo: ‘Thank you’ within the Greek
Language.
Haristo Nachos Chat:
I wasn’t
always a Nachos kinda person. In fact, only recently I’ve developed an
inclination for them. Now that I’ve been shot with an obsession for nachos,
seems like I look for reasons to have them! Before ordering these, my mind sort
of wavered between Haristo Nachos Chat and their Corn Chat. Having Chats as
appetizers sounds thrilling but I’m also a fan of corns for that matter but since
the Nachos had Cafe name associated to it, my friend went ahead to order for
this; considering them to probably be their best-sellers. On appearance, they
looked quite tempting and were tossed along with onion, capsicum, bell pepper,
black olives, jalapeno and some mayo. For complimentary of course you are
served some salsa which I gotta admit was definitely refreshing and fresh!
Since it had mayo drizzled, make sure to consume it as soon as it hits your
table. 😉

Jalapeno Cheese Balls:
Another
favourite of mine would probably be C-H-E-E-S-E! Although Jalapeno are slightly
sour for my preference but we went ahead for ordering these. These had bread
crumbs coating and came along with a mayo dip which tasted
great with these. Inside you’d find jalapeno, capsicum plus bell pepper, cheese
shredding and probably some spices mixed. Initially, I tried tasting them
without the mayo dip and they kinda gave a really spicy after effect taste. But
when dipped in mayo, the dip worked to counter that spiciness from burning my
mouth. 😅 In case you think to order these, definitely call for some of their
shakes or drinks too.

Cola Fusion Mojito (Mock tails)
What I noticed
about their drinks was that all of them were served within glass bottles which
are identical to those you get at Keventers.
Of course, but these had Haristo labels on them. I’ve have had such a drink at Lajpat Nagar before and comparatively, I
wasn’t too glad with this one. It has coke & minty taste to it. There were
also small lemon pieces dropped within which gave that fresh zing to the drink
at the same time the lemon zest went slightly overpoweringly bitter. My friend
ordered another about which he jotted down his opinions.

Watermelon Cooler:
My friend
claimed to have loved this and believed his drink tastes much better than mine!
I did take a sip to testify his claims. The Watermelon Cooler looked red like
those ruh-habzaa sherbats with no
pink tint to it. Here again there were mint leaves added for the freshness
factor. To me personally they tasted like someone just poured in a lot of
watermelon syrup and went slightly overboard and syrupy tastes are what I
simply detest within my drinks. To the extent I was highly impressed by the
food, drinks weren’t really that great (mock-tails).

Hakka Noodles:
There was a
time when I had fascination to street style chowmein
or noodles but over the time, I started to abhor them because a lot of the
people try to give it an Indian twist to an unwanted extent. They fail to
understand that had I craved for Maggi
Masala noodles then I’d probably visit a different vender. Plus, some of
them are too picky to add much veggie or their veggies get slightly burnt and
too reduced in size. And of course I want veggies for the crunch factor as
well! Also, the most apparent issue each time - excess of soy sauce to turn
them brown. But thankfully, here I simply loved the Hakka noodles! Everything
just appropriate & nothing drizzled in excess. The veggies taste good and weren’t
over cooked. Since we were simultaneously served the Dry Chili Paneer as well, I did
mix in some of the vegetables from there because that’s how I like my noodles!

Winter Veggie Pizza:
I’ve told
you already within the beginning that they have their speciality lying within
their Wood Fired pizzas. But before going to that place, I did do my homework of
looking at possible reviews of this cafe at Google as well as Zomato. Not every
pizza is said to be that great! To get our own experiences, we did order a
pizza and by this time we didn’t wanted to have anything too heavy because we
were on brink of being stuffed! Winter Veggie Pizza had a really good thin crust
and the toppings within Winter Veggie were bell pepper and onion. Frankly
speaking, probably some differing veggies than merely capsicum or bell pepper would
have been much better and that’s what I expected from it. The cheese shredding
made everything taste good. Another disappointment was slight burning at the
edges; probably because of wood fired oven of theirs but it gave a slight
bitter after taste to the pizza. And since it ought to be a speciality, any
error would probably make me think again.

Strawberry Cheese Cake (Shakes)
Strawberry
isn’t my thing; so you’d clearly know that this was what my friend ordered for
himself. It gave that ‘Strawberry Shortcake’ colour vibes as soon as it arrived.
The bottle at the top had some froth floating over the drink and thankfully the
sweetness wasn’t too overpowering because going over boards is quite easy with
sweets flavouring. These are the words my friend quoted after having it – “Delightful experience; for anyone looking
for something sweet yet refreshing”. If you visit this place, definitely
check out their amazing menu of shakes. I was not too impressed with their
mock-tails but shakes are for sure worth giving a try! 😍

Death by Brownie (Shakes)
If
Government could pass one declaration concerning me, that would probably specify
my legit O-B-S-E-S-S-I-O-N for brownie. There’s definitely nothing knew if you’d
see me ordering something to do with brownie within desserts or shakes!
Probably reading the name, I would want brownie to impersonate itself and smother
me with its amazing taste. This one definitely deserves to be raised to a pedestal
of being awarded the most loved item of this cafe! It tastes of brownie and chocolate
syrup & I won’t hesitate to go back merely for this! 😋😋

Ambiance:
Haristo Cafe (Noida) gives a really cosy
ambiance with some quirky umbrella lights at the ceiling. The seating
arrangement inside is sort of congested but if its winters, you can probably go
ahead and enjoy your delicacies at outside seats. The walls have been give a
pastel touch of blue and white whereas the accents of the place has been
coloured with yellow. I can literally spend two hours or more eating and catching up with work or friends!
In case you reside near
Delhi NCR, then make sure to visit their cafe for an amazing experience. Or you can get your ordered delivered right at your place! 😘
