Styling Session at Haute Couture | Rhythm Goyal's 2017 Collection

Hola Peeps 😊
Some time back, I ended up at the store of Haute Couture which is a heaven dedicated for fashion lovers. It is initiated by Rhythm Goyal whose fascination for designing garments pulled her from the depths of Journalism to the Fashion Industry. You guys must be wondering how I landed up there. So, let’s rewind the scenario! ⏪

(Me Playing with the Intricate Latkans)

Team of Haute Couture held a styling contest for which they selected few bloggers & since I participated, an invite was sent for the Styling Session. Instead of being merely a styling session, it was more of a photo-shoot which came my way without warnings! We got an outfit each & matching jewellery for the same. Once our hair, makeup were done; a photographer rushed to click our pictures for the purpose of - depiction of outfit. Before I venture within the details, let’s know more about the Store & the Designer herself.

About Haute Couture by Rhythm Store:-

Antique with shades of gold, beige and bronze interiors give store a beautiful vintage appeal. We have tried to do the amalgamation of antiques like carvings and old styled watches. Her SS 2017 collection is available to shop at the store. The collection is perfect to stay stylish and unique. Price varies from outfit to outfit. Majority of the outfits are priced between 18,000INR to 35,000INR. Tops are for 8,500INR. Everything is worth the price. Designer Rhythm Goyal’s collection is all set to rock the spring season.

About Rhythm Goyal:-

With a fine taste in fashion and a passion for designing, Rhythm Goyal, transformed from being from a Journalism background into one of Delhi’s most popular Gen-next names in fashion today! Handling personal life along side maintaining her professionalism, she leads by example and inspiration. Being a star child and excelling in academics she did not pursue fashion and went on doing her Journalism and Mass Communication  from a reputed university, but as they say “Where there is a will, there is a way” which holds true especially in her case as now she is one of the established names in Delhi.

My Experience:

Now, I wasn't told in advance that it’s gonna be a shoot. And I’ve never really done a proper photo-shoot before. Going through the lanes of the store invoked warm feelings & there were a lot of the designs which I would actually see myself wearing. Makeup & hair department was handled by Agrika whereas the outfit unfortunately was picked up by their Team itself! The outfit which I liked is this this one shown below. And I totally loved its fusion of white jacket style top with beautiful flowy maxi skirt in amazing blue. 😍

(And that’s me setting my eyes on the Outfit I Loved!)

But since a shoot was already done within this, I was made to go for some other ethnic wear which looked not-so-good on me. I totally had a hunch about it because pale colours are not my thing. Next I was handed over the outfit which you guys would see within the pictures (by the end of the post). Now this one had embroidery almost till the waist & even on the sleeves. The colour of this one was something that I really liked! 😊 I liked my makeup a lot but the reason as to why I fail in uploading the picture that the photographer clicked is – the Makeup Artist failed to blend completely the dark concealer she applied for contouring my face! 😑 And ironically, the photographer failed to see it too, I believe. Also, I had to undergo my hair twice as well. Seems like two was the LUCKY number for me that day! 😐

(That’s not me within the picture but the Lovely Designer – Rhythm Goyal)

I have thin hair, so any hairdo that  would incorporate  sleek look, would look tacky on me! Plus my face is a bit square shaped, which made the hairdo look not-so-glamorous. And then because the photographer was waiting, my hair were clipped so as to show an intricate hairstyle. Let’s not go at the expressions my sulking would have made. But let’s just say it’s over, Bhawna! Because that’s how the photographer quickly tried to wrap things up. Also, some of my pictures were weirdly extra brightened in editing by their photographer. Emphasis upon M-Y P-I-C-T-U-R-E-S!!! I’d rather include a picture clicked by our (The Glistening Lane’s) Team Member (Make sure to follow his blog - Click HERE

And Some Jewellery..

Anyways, let’s not judge things based on my styling session experience because it has nothing to do with Designer's intricate designs. If you guys land up in Pitampura (Delhi), then make sure to head over to this store. Who knows, your next best outfit might be waiting for you right there!

Sugar Ace of Face Foundation Stick in 25 Macchiato - Swatches & Review

Shedding away all my laziness 😂😂
Here I am today, scribbling a blog post on one of my recent makeup purchases from the brand Sugar Cosmetics. In case you guys don’t know, I was awestruck by makeup hoarding addiction again and ended up buying more than what I initially intended. Although I had my eyes glued on their Smudge Me Not Lipstick in the shade Wine & Shine (Sangria), I also managed to pick up their much-hyped Ace of Face Foundation Stick! This particularly base product was first launched with 6 shades but now they have introduced 22 shades that will go absolutely well with almost all Indian skin tone. And no, that isn’t just a false claim like another well known Indian brand which we’ve seen since our childhood.
Let’s dive into the review without any digressions!

MamaEarth: Shampoo + Conditioner Review | Happy Heads & No More Tangles

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!
