keeps skin healthy, protected and rejuvenated.
Packaging: The Himalaya Herbals Oil Free
Radiance Gel comes in an outer packaging of cardboard box with all the
information as to how the product can be used and its constituents are
imprinted over it. Inside you’d find an opaque glass jar with screw open lid of
dark green colour. After the removal of the lid, you’d find a white separator
which helps in protecting the lid from content spilling and falling beneath it.
This also makes the packaging travel friendly & of course leak proof. Since
it has a glass jar, you can simply pack it up in your suitcase amidst layers of
clothes. Although, I’ve travelled with the same to my college and never really
faced any hardship.
My Experience:
I detest the
feel of any moisturizer on my face & for that matter; even a foundation
after some time makes me simply wanna wash my face. This is solely the reason
why, moisturizers are a strict NO-NO for me. In fact, some years back I was
introduced to Dr. Reddy’s Venussa Moisturizing cream which is comparatively light
but after some time the sweating does take over. And then I was introduced to Fuschia
Vkare’s Oil Control Gel which gives a menthol sort of feel. As a person
with oily skin, gel based things work much better for me. Cream based
products, especially hydrating, makes my skin breakout! So this is how, I ended
up picking this up at Himalaya Stores.
I’ve never seen anyone except makeup brands displaying their products for
testing before you actually invest upon them. But Himalaya Stores had a corner
wherein you can try products before adding them to your card; although not every
product was their but some definitely were there.
The
packaging of heavy opaque jar might not be travel friendly for some but at this
price point I must say the packaging is kinda fancy. It also comes with a
segregator plastic cover which sits beneath the main green lid for saving the
product from any kind of spillage. The fragrance is subtle & sweet. If you ask
me anything that is replicated by this fragrance, I can't really answer that.
Since it’s a gel, the consistency isn’t creamy but of course gel like! On
application, it immediately gives a slight cooling sensation & also gets
absorbed within the skin pretty fast. But it caters what its meant for; that is
hydration. About the radiance part, I can’t really say that anything unusual can be
noticed. But you can definitely use this for moisturizing purposes as well as
for usage just before you apply your base makeup. Somewhat this gel & Coloressence’s
Makeup Base Primer gives an identical feel to the skin. It doesn’t make
your face oily which leads to sweating. My experience with Aura Vedic’s Skin Lightening
Formula was such wherein it made me sweat much more than usual.
Pros:
❤Fancy
Packaging; as can be seen within Expensive Products
❤Gel Base
which works well for combination to oily skin type
❤Does not
cause sweating due to no creamy texture
❤Hydrates the
skin without sticky feel
❤Gives subtle
cooling sensation
❤Gets
absorbed really quickly!
Cons:
👉Jar is made
up of glass which makes it heavy and prone to breaking.
