More on Key Ingredients:

▶Barbary Fig – Contains polysaccharides that are known to provide moisture, leaving your skin gently hydrated.
▶Winter Melon – Exhibits anti-oxidant properties that keeps skin healthy, protected and rejuvenated.

Packaging: The Himalaya Herbals Oil Free Radiance Gel comes in an outer packaging of cardboard box with all the information as to how the product can be used and its constituents are imprinted over it. Inside you’d find an opaque glass jar with screw open lid of dark green colour. After the removal of the lid, you’d find a white separator which helps in protecting the lid from content spilling and falling beneath it. This also makes the packaging travel friendly & of course leak proof. Since it has a glass jar, you can simply pack it up in your suitcase amidst layers of clothes. Although, I’ve travelled with the same to my college and never really faced any hardship.

My Experience:
I detest the feel of any moisturizer on my face & for that matter; even a foundation after some time makes me simply wanna wash my face. This is solely the reason why, moisturizers are a strict NO-NO for me. In fact, some years back I was introduced to Dr. Reddy’s Venussa Moisturizing cream which is comparatively light but after some time the sweating does take over. And then I was introduced to Fuschia Vkare’s Oil Control Gel which gives a menthol sort of feel. As a person with oily skin, gel based things work much better for me. Cream based products, especially hydrating, makes my skin breakout! So this is how, I ended up picking this up at Himalaya Stores. I’ve never seen anyone except makeup brands displaying their products for testing before you actually invest upon them. But Himalaya Stores had a corner wherein you can try products before adding them to your card; although not every product was their but some definitely were there.

The packaging of heavy opaque jar might not be travel friendly for some but at this price point I must say the packaging is kinda fancy. It also comes with a segregator plastic cover which sits beneath the main green lid for saving the product from any kind of spillage. The fragrance is subtle & sweet. If you ask me anything that is replicated by this fragrance, I can't really answer that. Since it’s a gel, the consistency isn’t creamy but of course gel like! On application, it immediately gives a slight cooling sensation & also gets absorbed within the skin pretty fast. But it caters what its meant for; that is hydration. About the radiance part, I can’t really say that anything unusual can be noticed. But you can definitely use this for moisturizing purposes as well as for usage just before you apply your base makeup. Somewhat this gel & Coloressence’s Makeup Base Primer gives an identical feel to the skin. It doesn’t make your face oily which leads to sweating. My experience with Aura Vedic’s Skin Lightening Formula was such wherein it made me sweat much more than usual.

Pros:
❤Fancy Packaging; as can be seen within Expensive Products
❤Gel Base which works well for combination to oily skin type
❤Does not cause sweating due to no creamy texture
❤Hydrates the skin without sticky feel
❤Gives subtle cooling sensation
❤Gets absorbed really quickly!

Cons:

👉Jar is made up of glass which makes it heavy and prone to breaking.

Rating: 4.0 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Final Verdict:
If you have a combination to oily skin type & you seek a subtle moisturizer and this one at its price point is really amazing!

Sugar Ace of Face Foundation Stick in 25 Macchiato - Swatches & Review

Shedding away all my laziness 😂😂
Here I am today, scribbling a blog post on one of my recent makeup purchases from the brand Sugar Cosmetics. In case you guys don’t know, I was awestruck by makeup hoarding addiction again and ended up buying more than what I initially intended. Although I had my eyes glued on their Smudge Me Not Lipstick in the shade Wine & Shine (Sangria), I also managed to pick up their much-hyped Ace of Face Foundation Stick! This particularly base product was first launched with 6 shades but now they have introduced 22 shades that will go absolutely well with almost all Indian skin tone. And no, that isn’t just a false claim like another well known Indian brand which we’ve seen since our childhood.
Let’s dive into the review without any digressions!

MamaEarth: Shampoo + Conditioner Review | Happy Heads & No More Tangles

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!

Exploring A World Within: Ethnic Outfit Ideas - OOTD - Monsoon Diaries

"Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself."
Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
When I started my journey as a blogger, I shied away from being captured in pictures. For some odd reason, I was always missing from school pictures, group pictures and a lot of other pictures. On top of that, my introvert personality stopped me from doing outfit posts on a regular basis. So until now, majority of my blog pictures revolved around flatlays and product photography. #ComfortZoneAtItsBest 😂

In fact, my phone’s memory contains more pictures of flatlays than it has of me. This is also one of the reasons why my WhatsApp DP stays without a picture. P.s. no, I haven't blocked you 🙈

Now that I feel that I’ve improved a lot in terms of my flatlay photography, I incurred a realization that aesthetics of picture touches a top notch when there’s human element incorporated. Not necessarily my face but probably my hand, hair …
