👉Daily Detox: A gel based therapy not only helps in re-hydrating and firming the skin but also releases strong antioxidants which deep cleans the pores and unclog them. The wonder extract of Neem, Aloe Vera and Calendula provide a soothing and calming effect on skin, where as Turmeric and Chamomile act as natural defenders of skin giving it an instant boost.

👉Blend of 10 Herbs: Blend of more than 10 Herbs mixed in pure edible grade organic Rose Water which gives the skin a natural conditioning. The product is free from any kind of added colorants and toxins. the blend of Pure Rose Water, Aloe Vera Powder, Neem Extract, Turmeric Extract, Chandan Extract, Calendula Extract, Camomile Extract, Guar Gum, Gum Acacia and Glycerine ensures Rejuvenation, Re-Hydration and Renovation of skin cells after each use.

👉Protects: Free radicals have become the biggest skin problem today. The continuous exposure to pollution and heat leads to clogging of pores and continuous release of oils from Sebaceous glands. Controls the release of oil and makes skin lighter with continuous use.

More On Ingredients:
Herbalism – Soothing Gel Mask is a powerful combination of more than 10 Herbs blended together in a Gel base to give a soothing consistency and effectiveness. The gel base consists of –

▶Pure Rose Water: energises the face, wonder extract with the power of natural antioxidants and anti-bacterial giving intense hydration and moisturization to the face.

▶Aloe Vera Powder: brings down skin inflammations and protects the summer irritant skin. Relieves Sunburns and accelerates healing.

▶Neem Extract: contains carotenoids which provide high antioxidants that defend the skin against promoting free radicals.

▶Turmeric Extract: effective in the treatment of acne due to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties that fight pimples and breakouts to provide a youthful glow to your skin.

▶Chandan (Sandalwood) Extract: sandalwood has long been known for its skin-friendly cleansing properties. It is cicatrizing and soothes your skin. It is also an effective astringent that tones your skin and rejuvenates it perfectly.

▶Calendula Extract: is a great moisturiser for dry skin and severely chapped or split skin. It helps soothe the area and reduce the pain.

▶Chamomile Extract: natural anti-inflammatory properties provide soothing and cooling effect for the skin

Packaging: The Herbalism Face Mask comes in white opaque plastic jar with screw open lid. This product is colour coded green because of ‘Neem Extracts’ incorporated within it. The plastic packaging makes it lightweight to carry around and travel friendly. Also, you’d see a plastic stopper lid as well which seals the contents from ruining the insides of the lid or leaking out of the packaging.

My Experience:
When I first saw the word ‘gel’, I was amazed! Usually we’ve seen facial masks with powdered and cream formulation but gel base is something which works great for people with oily skin. For instance, when a dermatologist recommends you a moisturizer, his prescription is based upon your skin type. So what mechanism works is – for the dry skinned people the preference is to hydrate the maximum and cream based products work the best for them! On the other hand, powder based or gel based products are referred to people on the oily side because they need least hydration but only a subtle hint of it. Oily skin tends to produce excessive oil and the only means to “tame” this over production when the demand is low; is to fool the skin by catering a moisturizer from your end. This way, the skin assumes it has worked its part and goes takes a holiday! 😂

Within summers, the glazing and harmful rays of the sun tends to burn the skin and that’s where ‘soothing’ aspect of this face mask comes to rescue! Also, since it contains Neem Extracts, you can incorporate this within your monsoon regime for protection against bacterial attack or acne. Upon the instance I applied it on my face; a sensation of tingling can be felt. But after the passing of say 5 minutes, the tingling vanishes and calming feeling overtakes. It gives that dampen cooling feeling which helps in calming down of any eruptions. I prefer to apply this especially on the day when I’ve got my eyebrows and upper-lip area threaded. This is because I have a sensitive skin which reacts even to threading and anything carved out of chemicals. Instead of permitting the beauticians to play with my skin, I skip upon their cooling toners and indulge in my own vanity of natural products. Aloe Vera within, helps the skin agitation and chamomile silences any redness.

Lastly, this mask unlike others don’t really set dry. I once slept with this on for like more than an hour (experiments not done intentionally 😅) and yet it hadn’t set. This can also be the reason why it doesn’t make your skin feel dry/stretchy. Also, it does not leaves the skin oily!

❤Helps combat acne
❤100% Natural Products
❤Dermatologically Tested
❤No Sulphates & Parabens
❤Lightweight Packaging plus Travel Friendly
❤Does not leave the skin dry, flaky or stretchy
❤Formulation light weight, making it apt for oily skin type

Final Verdict:
Overall, this is a great pick especially for people with combination to oily skin type with acne or sensitive issues. A definite recommendation. 😊
