Styling - Cold Shoulder Top | Outfit Ideas | Summer Fashion

Hello Fashionistas!πŸ˜„
What’s going on with you all? Lately, I am getting all lazy due to this summer break. Trust me; the world’s most beautiful outfit is none other than a loose Bermuda and tee! Post every bloggers meet up, you’d see me rushing to go back home and switch to comfy slippers and clothes. But then, you can run around in them outside at formal events. Between, I am guilty of being in comfy pants in shopping mall. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Comfort comes foremost to me, than just blindly following any fashion statement. You gotta understand this fact that fashion is not about what you wear but also about how you carry your garments. Also, because of this glazing weather, you don’t wanna be dripping wet with sweat just to showcase something exotic. And I don’t know if it’s just me, but I detest the feel of any cloth other than soft cotton in summers. So, here I am today with an outfit which I compiled for one of the event. Let’s begin!

Cold shoulder tops are #trending everywhere lately! Firstly, these are really breeze and stylish. Plus if you’re like me with slightly heavy arms, then this is a really good pick for you. It has a smart cut around the shoulder which ends exactly where your arms are. So much so did I like this that while shopping I picked two of these in different colours. One is in peachish orange shade while this one is black. For a casual event I tend to incline towards the other shade but for a formal one, this black one looks fabulous. If you know, black and dark colours are really good to give an illusion of having slightly better physique. Although to be honest, gradually I’ve realized each person is beautiful in his own manner. And there’s nothing like an ideal figure. Size zero is not meant for real people! I would never endorse the same.

For the bottom, I wore creamish white pants which are my current favourite! I literally convinced my parents that I’d make sure it remains clean because I’m a messy eater and god knows where all my crumbs fall, especially while having pizza. πŸ˜… I can wear it with my formal shirts as well as casual ones to make it more elegant. For accessorizing, I wore these rusted gold earrings with black design onto it and chain fringes hanging. I guess the fringe bug has bitten me as well. I had a bag in post graduation with some tassels, and then a pair of earrings in silver which gives you that Cleopatra feel and now these ones.

I was recently fascinated to the ballerina style heels. I guess this fascination was developed in Inatur Event where I shot a small video (on Instagram) at their store launch in Logix Mall, Noida. So these are made of velvet with some black beads. Thankfully the beads were black and not too colourful. By now you’d know I prefer my clothes subtle. Nothing too glitzy! To add in some colour, I added in this pastel/ light blue sling bag. But I’ve taken off the long sling strap. On my wrist, there’s this cuff which looks more like a combination of some thin bangles. Lastly, everything bought together with my lovely reflectors!

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜„ I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” πŸ˜‚
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Bloggers Event: #PoutItRight with Jaquline USA's Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints

Hi Guys Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Last month, I was invited by the team of New U (Dabur subsidiary) on their launch of Lip Pop Matte Tints. I’ve been to their events before and previous one, I presume, was the release of their BB Stroke Nail Enamel. Now they have also incorporated some vibrant matte shades by the name ‘Back2School’. I must warn you to go visit their stores ASAP as this range has a gorgeous mint shade which I’ve never seen amongst affordable Indian brands!

The event took place in Smoke House Deli at DLF Place Mall Saket (Delhi) in the afternoon. The place had an amazing decor with quirky walls and an interplay of white and grey theme running everywhere. With around 50 bloggers, we got to try out different shades of Lip Pops and nail lacquers that were recently launched in the New U store. I was so excited that I got rid of my texture nail paint then & there and tried the shades that were placed at the counter.
