Styling - Cold Shoulder Top | Outfit Ideas | Summer Fashion
By Bhawna D. - June 19, 2017
What’s going
on with you all? Lately, I am getting all lazy due to this summer break. Trust me;
the world’s most beautiful outfit is none other than a loose Bermuda and tee!
Post every bloggers meet up, you’d see me rushing to go back home and switch to
comfy slippers and clothes. But then, you can run around in them outside at
formal events. Between, I am guilty of being in comfy pants in shopping mall. 😂😂 Comfort comes foremost to me, than just blindly following any fashion
statement. You gotta understand this fact that fashion is not about what you
wear but also about how you carry your garments. Also, because of this glazing
weather, you don’t wanna be dripping wet with sweat just to showcase something
exotic. And I don’t know if it’s just me, but I detest the feel of any cloth
other than soft cotton in summers. So, here I am today with an outfit which I
compiled for one of the event. Let’s begin!
Cold
shoulder tops are #trending everywhere lately! Firstly, these are really breeze
and stylish. Plus if you’re like me with slightly heavy arms, then this is a
really good pick for you. It has a smart cut around the shoulder which ends
exactly where your arms are. So much so did I like this that while shopping I
picked two of these in different colours. One is in peachish orange shade while
this one is black. For a casual event I tend to incline towards the other shade
but for a formal one, this black one looks fabulous. If you know, black and
dark colours are really good to give an illusion of having slightly better
physique. Although to be honest, gradually I’ve realized each person is
beautiful in his own manner. And there’s nothing like an ideal figure. Size
zero is not meant for real people! I would never endorse the same.
For the
bottom, I wore creamish white pants which are my current favourite! I literally
convinced my parents that I’d make sure it remains clean because I’m a messy
eater and god knows where all my crumbs fall, especially while having pizza. 😅 I can wear it with my formal shirts as well as casual ones to make it more
elegant. For accessorizing, I wore these rusted gold earrings with black design
onto it and chain fringes hanging. I guess the fringe bug has bitten me as
well. I had a bag in post graduation with some tassels, and then a pair of
earrings in silver which gives you that Cleopatra feel and now these ones.
I was
recently fascinated to the ballerina style heels. I guess this fascination was
developed in Inatur Event where I shot a small video (on Instagram) at their
store launch in Logix Mall, Noida. So these are made of velvet with some black
beads. Thankfully the beads were black and not too colourful. By now you’d know
I prefer my clothes subtle. Nothing too glitzy! To add in some colour, I added
in this pastel/ light blue sling bag. But I’ve taken off the long sling strap.
On my wrist, there’s this cuff which looks more like a combination of some thin
bangles. Lastly, everything bought together with my lovely reflectors!
