Mega Skincare Haul ft. Inatur Herbals

Hola Peeps,

If you reside within Delhi/NCR region, good news is – “Inatur has recently inaugurated a store in Logix Mall, Noida”. ๐Ÿ˜„ They also have a counter at DLF Noida  & in case you live in South Delhi, they have one in Saket as well. Inatur organized a Bloggers Meet up for the same occasion on May 27, 2017. I was spell bound to see the vast amount of products they offer, dedicated to various skin types.  We also got a chance to interact, gain knowledge about cosmetology and skincare from the lovely founder Mrs. Pooja Nagdev. Though it wasn’t the first time I met her but I was awestruck by her humbleness. INATUR is a skincare brand which works to bring each of us more close to the Nature. Nature is automatically in sync within the human body to maintain its balance. Ayurveda works upon the same ideology as per which each person’s character types are dependent onto ‘Three Doshas – Vata, Pita & Kapha’. These distinctions are forged due to elements of nature which you might have heard within the cartoon series “Captain Planet”. ๐Ÿ˜

·         VATA- People characterised within Vata are usually swift paced, thin, quick to think, etc. Such kind of person is usually afflicted to creative works and not at all lazy. They are physically & mentally fast to act.
·         PITA- This type comprises fire because of which such people undergo anger issues, are endowed with oily skin type and sharp mind. They are refrained from oily and spicy food and encouraged to have foods with cooling temper.
·         KAPHA- Such type of person in appearance might be strong built or muscular but mind moderately calm and composed. Their skin might be onto oily side. Main elements incorporated within are – Water + Earth.

In the name – INATUR, “I” stands for Innovation; “Natur” is derived from the works of Nature. The brand makes sure to use the process SCINAT for constructing each product. SCINAT refers to a procedure wherein amalgamation of Nature & Herbal Actives takes place. Now that I’ve shared with you all my notes that I made during the events, let me introduce and give you a mini review on the products received. These are majorly from two of their ranges – Sandalwood & Charcoal. Shall we begin? ๐Ÿ˜Š

(Sandalwood Range + Spray Sunscreen)

Sandal & Vanilla Sugar Soap – INR 225

Soaps I’ve seen or used all my life are generally hard to touch; this one is soft and has fragrance with woody tones. I ain’t really into sweet floral fragrant products and this one is what I love to sniff! ๐Ÿ˜„ Since it contains sandalwood, it’s ideal for summers when your skin gets irritated by heat or attack of bacteria. It is meant for all skin types and dedicated even for our gentlemen. This soap makes sure that your skin’s moisture doesn’t get extracted which is why adequate quantity of glycerin is embedded within the constitution of it. Now, if you know about the benefits of Essential Oils, you’d never hesitate to add this within your cart.

INGREDIENTS: Coconut Oil, Glycerin, Raw Sugar, Sodium Stearate, Sandal, Vanilla Oil, Vitamin E Acetate, Turmeric Extract.

RATING- 4.2

Sandal Fairness Face Wash – INR 130
This product too is suitable for both women & men and meant for all skin types. Again, Sandalwood fights bacteria, caters to your skin clarity and endows healthy glow. It is 100% soap & sulphate free.
      ·         Blackberry – brings fairness
      ·         Liquorice – Prevents ageing
      ·         Sandalwood – Anti inflammatory
      ·         Turmeric – Cleanse & Detoxify
      ·         Vertiver – Antiseptic Tonic
Upon my personal experience, I tried this thrice and each time it kinda stinged my eyes; not that I kept them open. Plus fairness thing kind of rebels me. ๐Ÿ˜

INGREDIENTS : Aqua, Acrylates Coplymer, Sodium Lauryl Sarcocinate, Decyl Glucoside, Cocoamidopropylbetaine, Cetocetyl Alcohol, Myristyl Myristate Cocomono Diethanolamide, Turmeric Extract, Vertiver Oil, Sandalwood Liquorice Extract, Blackberry Extract, DMDM Hydantoin, Phenoxyethanol.

RATING – 3.5

Sun Spray : UVA/UVB Rays Protection – INR 450
I am quite lazy when it comes to application of body lotion or sunscreen. Yes, I know I ought to not ditch the same but somehow I can work things for face skin but pay least attention to hands and feet. Having sunscreen with spray nozzle is like a boon for me! It contains SPF 30 and is meant for combination to oily skin type. It is oil free & and lightweight in formulation. Also, the packaging states that it is safe to use even for babies. Constituents of this sunscreen –
      ·         Aloe Vera – Soothes & Protects
      ·         Bergamot Oil – Antiseptic & Astringent
      ·         Carrot Oil – Repairs Damaged Skin
      ·         Raspberry Seed Oil – Protects from UVA & UVB Rays.

INGREDIENTS: Aqua, Benzophenine – 3, Ethylexyl Methoxy Cinnamate, Butyl Methoxy Dioenzoylemethane, Carbomer, Propylene Glycol, Di Butyl Adipate, Carrot Extract, Honey Extract, Tocopheral Acetate, Aloe Vera, Bergamot Oil, Dm Dm Hydzantoin.

RATING – 5.0 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Charcoal Face Mask – INR 410
This is my current go to face mask! Charcoal helps extract away any impurities and the consistency itself is easy to spread. Firstly, I appreciate this face that even on being a charcoal product; it still does not leave the skin feeling dry. My skin appears brightened, radiant and smooth. Also, do you know I am a face-mask addict? ๐Ÿ˜‚
       ·         Charcoal Powder Deeply Cleanses & Purifies
       ·         Basil Extract – Controls Sebum
       ·         Lemon Oil – Clears & Disinfects Skin
       ·         Neem Extract – Anti Bacterial

INGREDIENTS: Aqua, Glycerin, Kaoilin, Charcoal Powder, Myristyl Myristate, Octyl Palmitate, Sweet Almond Oil, Neem Extract, Cyclo Methicone, Lemon Oil, Basil Extract, Hydantoin, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance.

RATING – 4.9

Sandal Face Pack – INR 150
Sandalwood is a really good source for calming down skin’s irritation in summers. It has the tendency to cool down and endow brightness to the complexion. I don’t really have major issue for pigmentation, so can’t say if the cleanser worked on that but otherwise I love the post wash feel. Also, Turmeric works as an antiseptic & anti-bacterial.
      ·         Sandal – Removes Dead Cells
      ·         Saffron – Enhances Complexion
      ·         Liquorice – Removes Blemishes
      ·         Turmeric – Blemish free, Fair skin
      ·         Vertiver – Regenerative for Ageing

INGREDIENTS: Aqua, Kaoilin, Glycerin, Ceteayl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Cyclomethicone, Propylene Glycol, Benzyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Hydantoin, Sandalwood Powder, Turmeric Extract, Saffron, Mentha Piperita, Vertiver and Liquorice.

RATING – 4.2

Essence De Shalimar Body Mist – INR 950
That name surely sounds ROYAL! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I am not into floral sweet fragrances & this one is just so appropriate for me. The fragrance is woody with light undertones of sweetness. Thankfully it’s Alcohol Free & has 100% Aqueous base. So you can spritz it onto your body in glory, without worry about negative responses from the skin.

INGREDIENTS: Aqua, Patchouly Oil, Fragrance, Aloe Vera Extract, Peg 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Propylene Glycol, Benzophenone – 4, Tetra Sodium EDTA, Yellow CI. 19140

Rating – 4.8

Charcoal Facial Sheet Mask – INR 100
Sheet masks speak convenience to me. No hardship of either mixing in the ingredients or forming a paste or the time spent to spread the product on facial skin. All you gotta do is open the packaging and place the mask onto your face for conditioning as well as purifying of the skin. Needless to say, none of Inatur’s charcoal masks leave your skin stretchy but healthy! ๐Ÿ˜

INGREDIENTS: Aqua, Charcoal Powder, Basil Oil, Anise Oil, Polysaccharide gum, Starch Hydrolysate, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Glutamate.

Rating – 4.9

Charcoal Face Cleanser – INR 350
This is the first product from Inatur’s range that I started using & completely fell for it. So much so that now I think how I will survive without this once it gets over! ๐Ÿ˜„ I have faced no acne since I’ve been using it and it takes away facial sebum but without any compromise on hydration and glow.
      ·         Charcoal Powder Deeply Cleanses & Purifies
      ·         Basil Extract – Controls Sebum
      ·         Lemon Oil – Clears & Disinfects Skin
      ·         Neem Extract – Anti Bacterial

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!
