Greetings Readers,

Here's the time which comprises of those long awaited months, within an year wherein either your cousin or a friend, or some acquaintance decides to get married. Even if that’s not the case, well simply assume that some stranger’s wedding card slides underneath your door and you gotta get ready for it! Let’s be honest, weddings are mostly about good food and putting your best foot forward, in terms of appearance, at least saying from the guest’s perspective. Try getting your brothers or sisters married and it ain't a fun filled job! It takes a hell lot of work and synchronization of various things, in order to make the wedding a success! Anyways, let’s just procure this opportunity and get ready with me. 😉😉

Being a guest, don’t attempt to be the eye candy of all, as it’s the bride's day and she must have had rehearsed within her mind all months long. Years you say?😝 Take out that favorite ethnic dress of yours and try to accessorize it with one prominent jewelry that may bring forth the elegance, without adding in too much.  For the hair, you can create tousled loose waves with deep side part and a bun which may showcase your dangling earrings. This makeup look is especially suitable for some functions that are to take place during the day and not exactly meant for the grand wedding night. Now, onto the makeup-

   ·   Hide-away the pigmentation, under eye circles or any kind of redness. For the base, keep it flawless but try adding in few drops of serum or any hydration gel that you like, to your base makeup. This would not only ward off dryness but also give you that subtle glow which makeup extracts away in winters, especially when the brushes cause friction against the skin. 😓😔
   ·   Fill in and tame those eyebrow hair ‘cause we are gonna get them on fleek! 😏 Next up, set your concealer with powder and pat some of it onto the eyelids. Brush away the cheeks with blusher and bronze up onto the hollows of your face, just below the cheeks.
   ·   Since you surely wanna add an extra oomph, use your favourite highlighter onto the brow bone, bridge of the nose, Cupid’s bow and the usual places.
   ·   Next, you gotta add in a neutral eyeshadow onto the crease and slightly above it. Do it using a blender brush, into a wiping motion and add on color slowly to build in the color intensity. I used a taupe brown shade from Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette. For the brush, I used Tinge Eyeshadow Blending Brush (purchased from Amazon).
   ·  Taking a slightly darker shade, I contoured the outer-v of my eye lid. Then dusting the major part of the lid with a subtle brown. Using the sketch eyeliner pen tip (you can go for whatever you're comfortable with) I created a thin wing but filled the remaining part using pencil eyeliner and smudging it out with my finger. 😊
   ·   Highlight the inner corner of the eye using a highlighter and dust the same onto the arch of your eyebrows. Coat those lashes with your favorite mascara and add in a soft pink lip shade or whichever you like. I used Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade 15 A. 😳 I need to re-stock this lip cream, this was the last bit of it scooped out just for completion of this look. 😊

We Indians have pretty wide eyes and makeup simply helps in accentuating the same. You can make appropriate changes in the look as per what you like or what suits you. Hope this post helps. 😊🙈 Lastly, remember to enjoy! 😉

Until Next Time,

Stay Glammed! 😀😘

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Things Bloggers Are Tired of Hearing!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
In my everyday life, I come across several people who have certain “prejudices” towards the blogging world. Ironically, half of the people who interact with me on an everyday life are unaware about my blogging life. And if the truth be told, I choose not to disclose it to any and every other person. No, I am not ashamed! Probably there’s some fun associated with weaving an image of a mysterious personality. But again, it’s also because people tend to link every behavioral trait with blogging. Say for instance, I don’t interact much with people and that’s only because I fall under the introvert personality; who knows that the next minute they’d assume “Oh, she isn’t very friendly because she’s too proud of her internet life”. My answer to them “Madame, I’m pretty much a child of a human world; internet is definitely not my only zone”.
Within this post, I’d share with you guys some of the weird questions that I’ve heard at least once in my th…
