Be A Bombshell Lip Stain- FLING: Review, Price & Buy Online

Greetings Readers😊😊

You know how subscription boxes are an easy remedy for solving budget problems and sustaining your craving for trying out new and different brands or products. In the same quest, sometimes, you end with douche products. Rare is it when you discover a gem! Lip stain that I intend to review today, was received by me in my December 2016 FabBag. Initially, it seemed like a good for nothing makeup item, easy to forget and toss over to the trash. Anyways, gradually I understood the right mechanism of using it.πŸ˜‚ So, let’s begin with no more blahs! ➤➤

Formula: A lip stain formulation that offers long lasting color.

Bombshell Application: Apply to top bottom lips for full coverage. For more color, apply several coats until you receive desired results.

Bombshell Tip: Start applying lip stain in the middle of your mouth and blend the lip stain outwards, stopping just short of the edge to prevent bleeding and make lips appear fuller. *This product must be stored upside down to maintain maximum pigmentation.

Price: INR 750

Buy Online: You can either shop it directly from their website via here or through Indian website by clicking on this.

Packaging: This lip stain comes in a matte black cuboid box with slight details imprinted but no retailing price mentioned. Inside, you’d see a thick marker kinda pen with shade which can completely be mistaken as your ordinary sharpies.

Shade: ‘Fling’ means good time. This shade is light pink which ain’t too subtle, or too bold. Somewhere amid the two extremes! Neither has it neon appeal to it, nor does it have blue undertones.

My Experience: Usually, the reason why I order FabBag of a particular month is because of its makeup item which I’ve longed for brimming my vanity. I’ve never been a proud owner of a lip stain and being a lipstick hoarder, I surely wanna lay hands on variety of lip products out there! This product was available in few colours and I ended up with this one because it seemed like a decent pink with no blue undertones. I ain’t a fuchsia lover! I like my lip colors to be soft and subtle, dark colours reserved only for special occasions or days when I’d feel all FANCY! πŸ˜‰

When I first swatched this on my hand, it did not budge until the next morning! Also, post bathing as well, faded colour could be seen. So, the longevity of this product is pretty commendable. It can last you for more than 8 hours if left untouched. In case you have snacks, it may resist the same but a meal would ofcourse fade the colour and that too unevenly. The soft tint remains behind but unfortunately the colour seeps into fine lines and looks not so pleasant to the eyes. Also, it does dry out the lips after some time so a thin layer of lip balm is really suggested. Lastly, it may sometimes provide an uneven application, which may turn out as a mood ruiner.
Now, one mistake that I committed was, I kept my lip stain normally, lying horizontally to the floor. So when I used it next time, the stain ink came very little and I assumed mine has dried up. But then I did my R&D and realized that the product must be kept vertically upside down. That way the colour intensity can be maintained and it provides a smooth application. The stain dries up pretty quick and the formulation is lightweight. You’d hardly feel that you’re wearing a lip colour.

How It Looks On Me:
   ·   Innovative packaging
   ·   Stays for more than 8 hours (without meal)
   ·    Leaves soft tint
   ·    The stain dries up quickly
   ·     Lightweight on the lips

   ·    Leaves uneven tint
   ·    Color seeps into fine lines
   ·     Dries out the lips

Final Verdict: The last product I had from the same brand, was little disappointing. But this lip stain is an innovative product which I do like!

Rating: 3.9 out of 5

Sugar Ace of Face Foundation Stick in 25 Macchiato - Swatches & Review

Shedding away all my laziness πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Here I am today, scribbling a blog post on one of my recent makeup purchases from the brand Sugar Cosmetics. In case you guys don’t know, I was awestruck by makeup hoarding addiction again and ended up buying more than what I initially intended. Although I had my eyes glued on their Smudge Me Not Lipstick in the shade Wine & Shine (Sangria), I also managed to pick up their much-hyped Ace of Face Foundation Stick! This particularly base product was first launched with 6 shades but now they have introduced 22 shades that will go absolutely well with almost all Indian skin tone. And no, that isn’t just a false claim like another well known Indian brand which we’ve seen since our childhood.
Let’s dive into the review without any digressions!

MamaEarth: Shampoo + Conditioner Review | Happy Heads & No More Tangles

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!

Exploring A World Within: Ethnic Outfit Ideas - OOTD - Monsoon Diaries

"Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself."
Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
When I started my journey as a blogger, I shied away from being captured in pictures. For some odd reason, I was always missing from school pictures, group pictures and a lot of other pictures. On top of that, my introvert personality stopped me from doing outfit posts on a regular basis. So until now, majority of my blog pictures revolved around flatlays and product photography. #ComfortZoneAtItsBest πŸ˜‚

In fact, my phone’s memory contains more pictures of flatlays than it has of me. This is also one of the reasons why my WhatsApp DP stays without a picture. P.s. no, I haven't blocked you πŸ™ˆ

Now that I feel that I’ve improved a lot in terms of my flatlay photography, I incurred a realization that aesthetics of picture touches a top notch when there’s human element incorporated. Not necessarily my face but probably my hand, hair …
