What’s in My November 2016 Fab Bag!

It’s more than a week since we’ve transgressed into December; yet I am still writing a November Fab Bag post πŸ˜₯ I’ve been missing as I have my external exams of post graduation going on. And I feel guilty of not posting all this while; I still have two of my exams left, both of which will get over by the 10th of this month. Anyways, I still managed to draft this post and I am really sorry for not being around.

So without further adieu, let’s begin!

The Bag: The bag this month I think was available in 2-3 colours; pink, red and copper brown. Ironically I received the one I was thinking of not getting! πŸ˜…πŸ˜… Life’s cruel! Haha

Anyways, the bag is shiny, mimicking snake skin ever so slightly. Mine is a pink and I ain’t a fan of pink to be honest. The bag had slight fading of the colour which of course was a turn off. One of my school friends saw it and was like “I seriously did not like this month’s Bag”. This coming from a guy was like a gospel of truth, mirroring exactly what was upto my mind! LOL But contents still managed to cover up for it.

Contents Received:
   ·  City Color Be Matte Lipstick- Brianda (Full Size Rs. 500/-) πŸ’„
   ·  The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate (Rs. 2895/- for 30 ml)
   ·   Just Herbs Aloe Vera Facial Massage Gel (Rs. 445 for 100 grams)
   ·   Natural Bath & Body Beautiful Day Body Mist (Rs. 325/- for 200 ml)

City Color Be Matte Lipstick

Since Fab Bag has recently started to let its family chose the makeup item that they like, I picked up M24 Brianda. The options consisted of a variety of reds with different undertones. Though, I already have a lot of reds in my vanity now but I still had to select one. This is a brownish- maroon kinda red which would look so flattering on medium skin tone. It’s definitely one of those bold fall shades. Packaging resembles the Sugar Cosmetics Matte lipsticks, except for the fact that this one has its lid to be transparent.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate

The Body shop recently launched its Youth Enhancing Range consisting of: Youth Essence Lotion, Youth Day Cream, Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask & the Youth Concentrate; which I received thanks to Fab Bag. I was looking forward for it and was quite sceptical as some of them had received Veda Earth Under Eye Oil. I haven’t tried this as of now but surely will go ahead with it once I subside my acne of those days. Receiving The Body Shop products is definitely simply paves way to heart!

Just Herbs Aloe Vera Facial Massage Gel

I’ve been wanting to try out Just Herbs products, especially their acne treatment. So when I received this Aloe Vera Facial Massage Gel, I kinda saved it for pampering time! 😁 It has a sweet fragrance which isn’t too overpowering. The packaging is great and the consistency kinda surprised me. It isn’t exactly like a gel because I had Patanjali gels lying around. The consistency is somewhat amidst a gel and a cream. It nourishes/ hydrates better than  a gel but doesn’t feel sticky like a cream.
(My skin type- Combination + Sensitive + Acne Prone πŸ˜… )

Natural Bath & Body Beautiful Day Mist
This is a deluxe sample bottle containing 50 ml. The mist I tried doesn’t stay too long since obviously it is a mist but it still leaves away that lingering sensation. The fragrance is quite refreshing. Sweet tones aren’t gonna evade you off the earth so I really liked it!

Until Next Time,
Take Care πŸ’“

Sugar Ace of Face Foundation Stick in 25 Macchiato - Swatches & Review

Shedding away all my laziness πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Here I am today, scribbling a blog post on one of my recent makeup purchases from the brand Sugar Cosmetics. In case you guys don’t know, I was awestruck by makeup hoarding addiction again and ended up buying more than what I initially intended. Although I had my eyes glued on their Smudge Me Not Lipstick in the shade Wine & Shine (Sangria), I also managed to pick up their much-hyped Ace of Face Foundation Stick! This particularly base product was first launched with 6 shades but now they have introduced 22 shades that will go absolutely well with almost all Indian skin tone. And no, that isn’t just a false claim like another well known Indian brand which we’ve seen since our childhood.
Let’s dive into the review without any digressions!

MamaEarth: Shampoo + Conditioner Review | Happy Heads & No More Tangles

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!
