Maybelline Color Show Lipstick- 313 Choco Latte: Review, Price & Where to Buy!

Greetings winter lovers! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜Š

Winters is an amazing season when it comes to dressing up; being sweat free, odour free, except for the fact that Indian mothers bombard your food with an extra dollop of ghee or butter and then says “Daughter start going for a walk; you’ve started to bloat”! Yes mother, it aint your ghee’s fault! 😲Anyways, enough of my cribbing! πŸ˜…

Maybelline had launched their Color Show lipsticks in the year 2014. No, it’s not like I woke up late to this announcement. I have reviewed some of the shades from the Color Show range earlier, but those were from their Matte range. So recently, I was in a dire need for a nourishing lipstick with neutral colour, because summer has left my vanity brimming with matte lip lacquers. But on an everyday basis, I do wanna retain hydration of the lips. 😊

Without adieu, let’s begin with the review! ➤➤

Claims: Enriched with ultra-care hydrating formula which gives your lips all day hydration. They are anti-oxidant and heat resistant, which guarantees color integrity and does not even fade in extreme heat and humidity.

How to Use: Apply lipstick in the center of your upper lip and follow the contours of your mouth. Glide the lipstick across the entire bottom lip. πŸ’„

Price: INR 299

Net Weight: 3.6 grams

Buy Online: Grab yours from shopping portals such as Amazon & Nykaa (click onto the website name for direct link to the product).

Packaging: The lipstick comes in a black plastic bullet with a colored band in the middle, where the lid falls when you close it. This band does not depict the shade inside but the color family of the lipstick, for instance- browns, reds, pinks, purples, etc. The packaging is decent, not flimsy and travel friendly.
Texture: Maybelline Color Show lipsticks are very smooth in terms of application. You don’t need to apply a layer of balm underneath; the lipstick itself is quite hydrating and feels light onto the lips. It is quite creamy. 😚

Longevity: The lipstick lasts long approximately for 2.5 hours, if you do not intake meals or drinks. It does transfer and need to be re-applied after meals. The color intensity does not stay the same after 2.5 hours and gradually a soft tint is left along with supple lips.

Shade: Choco- Latte 313 is a soft brown with pink undertones. Though the camera does not do justice as it appears more pinkish than brown but in real it’s a beautiful subtle brown for everyday use. It would go amazingly well with medium to fair skin tone. The color is pigmented, even on being creamy in texture.

Pros:
   ·   Simple, travel friendly packaging.
   ·   Texture being creamy.
   ·   Hydrates the lips
   ·   Pigmented
   ·   Longevity is pretty good; also it leaves behind an even tint.
   ·   Affordable

Cons:
   ·   The lip color transfers.

Rating: 4.2 out of 5

Until Next Time,

Take Care πŸŽ”

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜„ I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” πŸ˜‚
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Things Bloggers Are Tired of Hearing!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
In my everyday life, I come across several people who have certain “prejudices” towards the blogging world. Ironically, half of the people who interact with me on an everyday life are unaware about my blogging life. And if the truth be told, I choose not to disclose it to any and every other person. No, I am not ashamed! Probably there’s some fun associated with weaving an image of a mysterious personality. But again, it’s also because people tend to link every behavioral trait with blogging. Say for instance, I don’t interact much with people and that’s only because I fall under the introvert personality; who knows that the next minute they’d assume “Oh, she isn’t very friendly because she’s too proud of her internet life”. My answer to them “Madame, I’m pretty much a child of a human world; internet is definitely not my only zone”.
Within this post, I’d share with you guys some of the weird questions that I’ve heard at least once in my th…
