Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick in Shade PM14: Review, Swatch & Price

Hello people,

It poured on for continuously 2 hours and I reached college with my jeans drenched upto my knees! And look outside now, it has gone back to being sunny and sweaty.  Delhi weather is so unpredictable like a pregnant women’s late night snacking cravings! :D :D
Even though I’d promise myself not to splurge onto more lippies, but that’s the first thing I want when I come across any cosmetics counter! So today, I shall be reviewing The Lakme Enrich Matte lipstick in the shade PM14. Without further adieu, let’s begin.

Description: Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick covers your lips with pure, intense color in a smooth matte finish. Take your pick from shades that were designed to suit Indian skin tones.

Price: INR 295 for net weight of 4.7 grams

Packaging: Lakme had some time back launched the new packaging for their Satin Enrich lipsticks. The same bullet encapsulates the Enrich Matte range. The lipstick is of cool toned silver color while the lid is a transparent plastic which has the lipstick name imprinted. The packaging is no doubt classy and sturdy.

Shade: The shade PM14 is a soft nude pink which is apt exclusively for fair to medium skin tone. It can be used for formal occasions; I applied it on the day of my presentation in college. Did I acquire extra marks for it? Well, blame the little mishap wherein her mood got ruined! This color would look lovely with smokey eye or heavy eye makeup. If you wanna keep your makeup look subtle; go ahead buy this for sure!

Texture: This lipstick has soft texture and it glides onto the lips easily. Initially I had my doubts about it being matte. But after the interval of 5 to 10 minutes, it does set into a matte finish and feels lightweight. I’d say the texture is similar to the Rimmel’s Kate Moss lipsticks (read the review here).

My Experience: When I first applied this lipstick, it felt smooth and hydrating. It took comparatively more time to set because I’ve lately been into liquid lipsticks and they dry much faster. Post settling, the lipstick turns matte but does not feel stretchy. After some time, I noticed that it settled within the fine lines so you definitely need to exfoliate and moisturize your lips for rocking this lipstick. After 2 hours, it fades out and it might not always be in an even manner. So what then? Reapply my beautiful ladies!

Longevity: The staying power of this lipstick is approximately 2 hours but without snacks or drinks. If you’d end up having a meal, the lipstick is gonna be completely wiped out by the last morsel. It does transfer too; slightly once it sets. By the way I'd suggest, leave your trails all over your coffee mug so that no one else sips away from it! *wink*

Rating: 3.8 out of 5

Until Next Time,

Take Care<3

Sugar Ace of Face Foundation Stick in 25 Macchiato - Swatches & Review

Shedding away all my laziness 😂😂
Here I am today, scribbling a blog post on one of my recent makeup purchases from the brand Sugar Cosmetics. In case you guys don’t know, I was awestruck by makeup hoarding addiction again and ended up buying more than what I initially intended. Although I had my eyes glued on their Smudge Me Not Lipstick in the shade Wine & Shine (Sangria), I also managed to pick up their much-hyped Ace of Face Foundation Stick! This particularly base product was first launched with 6 shades but now they have introduced 22 shades that will go absolutely well with almost all Indian skin tone. And no, that isn’t just a false claim like another well known Indian brand which we’ve seen since our childhood.
Let’s dive into the review without any digressions!

MamaEarth: Shampoo + Conditioner Review | Happy Heads & No More Tangles

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!

"Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself."
Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
When I started my journey as a blogger, I shied away from being captured in pictures. For some odd reason, I was always missing from school pictures, group pictures and a lot of other pictures. On top of that, my introvert personality stopped me from doing outfit posts on a regular basis. So until now, majority of my blog pictures revolved around flatlays and product photography. #ComfortZoneAtItsBest 😂

In fact, my phone’s memory contains more pictures of flatlays than it has of me. This is also one of the reasons why my WhatsApp DP stays without a picture. P.s. no, I haven't blocked you 🙈

Now that I feel that I’ve improved a lot in terms of my flatlay photography, I incurred a realization that aesthetics of picture touches a top notch when there’s human element incorporated. Not necessarily my face but probably my hand, hair …
