Kamasutra Fame Chocolate Amber Fragrant Body Spray (Men)

Hello people,
This is the first time I shall be reviewing a men’s product. Asking me why? Because I sniffed it; liked it and got so blinded that I failed to see the words- MEN onto the bottle! I’ve been using it and until now when I clicked pictures of it for this post, did I realize that I’ve been wearing a men’s body spray. Not that I am ashamed or embarrassed because believe me, I really liked the fragrance of Axe Signature and once, was almost on the verge of buying it until my girl friends intervened. I ain’t gender restricted and have so many times picked up winter scarves/mufflers from Men’s Collection because they were much softer; same in the case of handkerchiefs. So let’s walk forth for the review!

Ingredients: Ethyl Alcohol, Diethyl Phthalate, Aqua, Perfume, PEG – 40, Propylene Glycol, BHT, Benzophenone – 3, Triclosan

Price: INR 200 for 150 ml.

Packaging: This body spray comes in transparent plastic glass look a-like bottle. The bottle has grey tint to it and labelling is done in white ink. It isn’t flimsy but the lid doesn’t get locked with a click and feel not so secure; it can easily come off which makes it risky for travelling. (Keeping in mind that it is Highly Flammable)

Fragrance: When I first sprayed it, I was almost suffocated and felt as if it got into my mouth. That’s when I realized that it has too strong a scent and needs to applied from some distance. If you ask me how it tasted? I’d say pathetic; hardly any traces of chocolate!! I couldn’t stop myself from spitting for atleast a minute. It smells of chocolate (not too sweet), which was the concept that actually tempted me for buying this spray. If you like floral or fruity fragrances; you might not like this one. Only if you’ve felt an inclination that men’s perfume smell much better and distinct then you selected few would really appreciate its fragrance.

Longevity: It won’t be an exaggeration if I’ll say it stays till the next morning until you bath. Why don’t we have such long lasting sprays for women at affordable prices?!

Overall: The sensitive nose ladies should ditch onto this one. And if you are a guy reading this; dude go grab it ASAP! The ladies who are similar to me when it comes to perfume or for that matter clothing and other things as well, you’ve got my go ahead thumb up sign!

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

Have you ever encountered a product that worked magnificently but was dedicated to the other gender?

Until Next Time,

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Bloggers Event: #PoutItRight with Jaquline USA's Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints

Hi Guys Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Last month, I was invited by the team of New U (Dabur subsidiary) on their launch of Lip Pop Matte Tints. I’ve been to their events before and previous one, I presume, was the release of their BB Stroke Nail Enamel. Now they have also incorporated some vibrant matte shades by the name ‘Back2School’. I must warn you to go visit their stores ASAP as this range has a gorgeous mint shade which I’ve never seen amongst affordable Indian brands!

The event took place in Smoke House Deli at DLF Place Mall Saket (Delhi) in the afternoon. The place had an amazing decor with quirky walls and an interplay of white and grey theme running everywhere. With around 50 bloggers, we got to try out different shades of Lip Pops and nail lacquers that were recently launched in the New U store. I was so excited that I got rid of my texture nail paint then & there and tried the shades that were placed at the counter.
