Unveiling Fab Bag: July 2016 Edition

Hello people,

I had been waiting for my July Fab Bag and finally it arrived. I had placed the order on 3rd July and received it on 16th July. This is my second Fab Bag purchase. If you are one of those who have subscribed to Fab Bag for 3, 6 or 12 months; you would have received an email for selection of the lipstick shade. I have had no long term subscription and I order Fab Bag only if I feel the products are worth investing onto. My main temptation being the Sugar It’s a Pout Time lipstick. You can buy your Fab Bag from here - http://www.fabbag.com/women.html

Theme of July month being- “The Hello Gorgeous”. Once is unboxed my parcel, I saw a cute looking imitated leather pouch that is blue in colour and has lipstick marks all over it. My Fab Bag cards were carelessly packed which did manage to put me off. This time I received 2 extra cards, one being a gift voucher from Aeom Couture and another being a coupon code from Flyrobe. I haven’t checked out their websites as of now but would surely do my mini homework of appropriate research work. The products that I received in my Fab Bag are-
  1.   Sugar It’s A Pout Time Vivid Lipstick- The Big Bang Berry (INR 599)
  2.   Skin Yoga Coffee Body Scrub (INR 845)
  3.   Pep Moisture Velvet Shampoo (INR 119)
  4.   Johara Instant Radiance Face Scrub (INR 500 for 100 gm; I received 15 gm sample)

Since mine was a single month subscription, I paid INR 599 for it. One thing I dislike is the fact that C.O.D. costs 100 bucks extra and I being a student have no excess to credit or debit cards.  :(
Overall, I liked this month’s Fab Bag and would soon review these products once I start using them.

P.s. Excuse the dullness of pictures as the weather outside was cloudy.

Until Next Time,
Take Care <3

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Bloggers Event: #PoutItRight with Jaquline USA's Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints

Hi Guys Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Last month, I was invited by the team of New U (Dabur subsidiary) on their launch of Lip Pop Matte Tints. I’ve been to their events before and previous one, I presume, was the release of their BB Stroke Nail Enamel. Now they have also incorporated some vibrant matte shades by the name ‘Back2School’. I must warn you to go visit their stores ASAP as this range has a gorgeous mint shade which I’ve never seen amongst affordable Indian brands!

The event took place in Smoke House Deli at DLF Place Mall Saket (Delhi) in the afternoon. The place had an amazing decor with quirky walls and an interplay of white and grey theme running everywhere. With around 50 bloggers, we got to try out different shades of Lip Pops and nail lacquers that were recently launched in the New U store. I was so excited that I got rid of my texture nail paint then & there and tried the shades that were placed at the counter.
