Aliexpress Review!

Hello people,

Being a blogger, I try searching various websites that sell makeup without any delivery charges, which is why I stumbled upon this website known as Aliexpress. I looked upon its makeup corner and was amazed to find great products stacked at one webpage, such as Eco Tools, Real Techniques, Sugar cosmetics and what not, that too at such reduced prices. I eyed upon the website for so long, remained in dilemma as to go ahead or stop myself. One day I managed to convince myself completely but while paying, it required a credit, debit or any sorts of such card, one of which has the famous tagline- “There are some things money can’t buy. For everything else, there’s Master-Card”.

Currently, I am a student and there’s no way possible for me to have a credit/debit card and I dont even live in a hostel. So I asked my friend for help and he willingly offered me to use his card details. I remember I order two products, one was a mini concealer tube and another was a lip product. I had scrolled down to see their reviews and the reviews seemed okay. I had a pair of boots too in my mind but I wanted to try out with a small purchase first. Order being placed, it was clearly mentioned that delivery would possibly take 2 months. It was really hard to gush down your excitement for an order but I knew there’s no possible way for it to reach me within a week since it was not gonna come from Indian states.

Somehow, two months passed. The chain of sending messages to the website began. A lot of messages were exchanged. They claimed initially to wait for few days more. I waited. Then they said dont worry we’d refund your money if the order doesn’t reach you. Waiting continued. Post 4 months, the money got refunded. Although I read so many reviews later that there were many who never even received their refunds but I was eagerly waiting for the products and it disheartened me. But anyways, atleast I wasn’t robbed off of my heart and money too. *LOL*

If you are intending to shop from there website, I’d say “looks are surely deceptive”. There might be some particular sellers who might end up sending the products but we sitting here in India, how are we gonna predict that one particular seller amongst the ocean full of fishes?

Comment down below on your similar experience on such websites, it would possibly help other out there.

Until Next time,
Take Care & Beware :)

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Bloggers Event: #PoutItRight with Jaquline USA's Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints

Hi Guys Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Last month, I was invited by the team of New U (Dabur subsidiary) on their launch of Lip Pop Matte Tints. I’ve been to their events before and previous one, I presume, was the release of their BB Stroke Nail Enamel. Now they have also incorporated some vibrant matte shades by the name ‘Back2School’. I must warn you to go visit their stores ASAP as this range has a gorgeous mint shade which I’ve never seen amongst affordable Indian brands!

The event took place in Smoke House Deli at DLF Place Mall Saket (Delhi) in the afternoon. The place had an amazing decor with quirky walls and an interplay of white and grey theme running everywhere. With around 50 bloggers, we got to try out different shades of Lip Pops and nail lacquers that were recently launched in the New U store. I was so excited that I got rid of my texture nail paint then & there and tried the shades that were placed at the counter.
