JOY Skin Fruits Gentle Care Face Wash for Normal Skin

Hey Guys!

I know I am late in uploading a blog this week as I have my exams coming up in few days. So forgive me and bear the burden of delayed blogs while I am stuck with my literary texts. Today I shall be writing a short review on JOY Skin Fruits Gentle Care Face Wash meant for Normal skin.

This face wash retails for INR 90/- at the net volume of 100ml + 20ml extra (as per the offer applicable on the tube). The packaging of the product is quite appealing and bright, the only problem being its flip top cap which isn’t as sturdy as it ought to be. Thus, it might not be travel friendly due to its lid. The cover claims that the face wash contains Natural Fruit AHAs. By the way the company has taken serious the Matte trend; the packaging is matte in texture.  *LOL*

Contains active encapsulated FRUIT BUBBLES which are crushed on application to the skin and the moisturizing and softening values of fresh fruits are directly delivered to the skin. It not only cleanses, but makes skin healthy, velvety smooth and softer with every wash.

Directions: Massage gently over moisturized face to work up a rich lather. Wash off and pat dry. Use as often required.

Ingredients: Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Cocoamidopropylbetaine, Glycerine, Polyquaternium 39, Fruit Bubbles, Xantham Gum, Acrylates/C 10- 30 Acrylate Crosspolymer, Trienthanolamine & Methylisothiazolinone, Menthol, Perfume, Disodium EDTA, CI 16185.

My Experience:
Firstly, let me begin by describing you my skin-type so that you get a larger picture as to if this face wash is going to suit you or not. My skin is something amid the combination to oily skin type. Sometimes I also get dry spots randomly. Plus it is acne prone and I do get bumps on my face due to humid weather or those days of the month. That’s about it for my skin. I used this face wash immediately after waking up. The first thing I noticed that there’s a red granule within the face wash formula which is identical to the AHA Glow Face wash. While I massaged it onto my face, I could inhale the slight apple fragrance. I even felt slight cooling sensation on application. Later when I read the packaging I realized it’s there because of Menthol present inside. It managed to leave my skin feel fresh and hydrated. There was no dryness as such or excessive moisture left on my face. I’d say it left appropriate amount of hydration and suppleness post application.

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Bloggers Event: #PoutItRight with Jaquline USA's Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints

Hi Guys Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Last month, I was invited by the team of New U (Dabur subsidiary) on their launch of Lip Pop Matte Tints. I’ve been to their events before and previous one, I presume, was the release of their BB Stroke Nail Enamel. Now they have also incorporated some vibrant matte shades by the name ‘Back2School’. I must warn you to go visit their stores ASAP as this range has a gorgeous mint shade which I’ve never seen amongst affordable Indian brands!

The event took place in Smoke House Deli at DLF Place Mall Saket (Delhi) in the afternoon. The place had an amazing decor with quirky walls and an interplay of white and grey theme running everywhere. With around 50 bloggers, we got to try out different shades of Lip Pops and nail lacquers that were recently launched in the New U store. I was so excited that I got rid of my texture nail paint then & there and tried the shades that were placed at the counter.
