Apollo Pharmacy Cucumber Face Wash for Combination & Oily Skin

Hey Guys!

Recently, I visited the Apollo Pharmacy as my T-Bact Ointment got over. There I saw my childhood friend grabbing one of the face washes by Apollo Pharmacy itself. This is why, after she was gone, I added it into my cart. I have oily, sensitive and acne prone skin. The one picked up is exclusively for my skin type. It comes in a squeeze flip top tube. The face wash is light green in colour and it somehow resembles the Himalaya Neem Face wash. The packaging has cucumber slices made onto it.

Firstly, I really liked its simple packaging. Not that it’s appealing by any means but its flip top lid is so sturdy and leak proof that it’s ideal for travelling. It retails for INR 45/- for net content of 75 ml. I felt the face wash is quite mild but manages to produce a lot of foam. One thing I noticed in the ingredient list is that this face wash contains honey. Sometimes my face gets dry spots out of nowhere. This is why these days I’ve tried hard to not skip a moisturizer. This face wash does not over dry your face. It takes away excess oil and dirt without leaving it dry. Post usage, the skin feels quite refreshed and soft, which is definitely as plus point.

Overall, it’s a decent face wash. I received no new acne while I used it and it is priced at a very reasonable rate.

P.S. Today I did a radio recording along with my friends for our college internal and believe me it has nothing to do with what I am studying!  *LOL*

Until Next Time,

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Bloggers Event: #PoutItRight with Jaquline USA's Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints

Hi Guys Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Last month, I was invited by the team of New U (Dabur subsidiary) on their launch of Lip Pop Matte Tints. I’ve been to their events before and previous one, I presume, was the release of their BB Stroke Nail Enamel. Now they have also incorporated some vibrant matte shades by the name ‘Back2School’. I must warn you to go visit their stores ASAP as this range has a gorgeous mint shade which I’ve never seen amongst affordable Indian brands!

The event took place in Smoke House Deli at DLF Place Mall Saket (Delhi) in the afternoon. The place had an amazing decor with quirky walls and an interplay of white and grey theme running everywhere. With around 50 bloggers, we got to try out different shades of Lip Pops and nail lacquers that were recently launched in the New U store. I was so excited that I got rid of my texture nail paint then & there and tried the shades that were placed at the counter.
