Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper Review

Hey Guys!

It’s been a while. I’ve been overtaken with my internals and seminars and what not. This time of the semester definitely takes a toll on me. Next month my finals are going to be held, so wish me luck on that :)

While, I was looking through Amazon, I noticed the reduced rate it offered on the Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo (in Brown). The M.R.P. of this eyebrow pencil is INR 245/-, while the quoted rate on the website was INR 196. When I was checking out, I noticed that I got further discount for no reason and it was freely delivered at my place for INR 166/- only. I’ve genuinely felt that Amazon offers quite good rates and delivers well within 2-3 days.

To be honest, I’ve used brow pencils, but I’ve only owned up one by ADS and this pencil had been in mind since a long time, but only now did I felt sure to spend on it. It comes in a black plastic roll on tube and comprises of two sides, one being a pencil, and another offering powder. The pencil side is very fine and it isn’t too creamy on application. It shows up well post 2 applications and thanks to its not so creamy texture, it doesn’t make your eyebrows look made up. It stayed for more than 8-9 hours and it has the potential to transcend that time limit as well. With the ADS one, I had to work with soft hand as it made my eyebrow look too heavy and I usually don’t get my eyebrows done thin. The powder end, comes with a sponge tip applicator and is apt for filling in any sparse spots in your eyebrows. The apt working for this eyebrow pencil would be to line your eyebrows using the pencil and then to fill them up using the powder.

The bonus point of this eyebrow pencil is that it does not smudge and is waterproof. In short, it is a perfect eyebrow pencil to invest in if you want a good eyebrow product at a budget friendly price.

RATING- 4.7 out of 5.

Until next time,
Take Care :) :)

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

MamaEarth: Shampoo + Conditioner Review | Happy Heads & No More Tangles

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!
