Spawake BB Cream in 01-Perfect Glow

Hey guys!!

In winters what I love the most is that the makeup doesn’t get washed away by our sweat. But applying foundation on everyday basis isn’t something I like, thus I resorted to buying a BB cream. I’ve used Garnier BB cream long back ago, and somehow it coincided with the time just before I got acne. This has made me believe that perhaps it doesn’t suit me, and I don’t wanna try it out again because risking my facial skin would be too much for me to tackle.

I’ve tried multiple BB creams that are easily available in India. Most of them have made me look yellow or darker than my original complexion. To give it a shot, I picked up Spawake BB Cream. One reason for picking up this brand is because I really liked their face wash.

This BB cream comes in two shades, which is certainly a negative point. The one I picked up is 01-Perfect Glow. It is meant for fair complexion ladies while the 02- Natural Glow is for wheatish skin toned beauties. The product contains SPF 25/PA ++ and gives straight out 8 hour moisturization. The packaging claims that it suits all skin type; my skin is combination and acne prone

The texture of the cream is quite soft and easy to blend out. It is light weight and feels like you don’t have any makeup on. It gives a dewy finish, so those of you who have oily skin should definitely set it with a compact or translucent powder. It astonishes me that even though it is a bb cream, it does cater to the need for coverage. My face has slight acne scars and simply one layer of this product removed the redness and gave slight coverage to the imperfect me.

Overall, I love this BB cream and it’s gonna stay in my vanity at least for winters for sure!!
It retails for Rs 129 (15 grams).

RATING- 4.8 out of 5.

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Bloggers Event: #PoutItRight with Jaquline USA's Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints

Hi Guys Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Last month, I was invited by the team of New U (Dabur subsidiary) on their launch of Lip Pop Matte Tints. I’ve been to their events before and previous one, I presume, was the release of their BB Stroke Nail Enamel. Now they have also incorporated some vibrant matte shades by the name ‘Back2School’. I must warn you to go visit their stores ASAP as this range has a gorgeous mint shade which I’ve never seen amongst affordable Indian brands!

The event took place in Smoke House Deli at DLF Place Mall Saket (Delhi) in the afternoon. The place had an amazing decor with quirky walls and an interplay of white and grey theme running everywhere. With around 50 bloggers, we got to try out different shades of Lip Pops and nail lacquers that were recently launched in the New U store. I was so excited that I got rid of my texture nail paint then & there and tried the shades that were placed at the counter.
