Lotus Herbals White Glow Yogurt Skin Whitening & Brightening Masque

Saying its name itself was so tiring!! LOL

Lotus Herbals White Glow Masque is enriched with Yoghurt and Bearberry extract. The brand claims that this product brightens, revitalizes and firms up the skin. Supposedly, it is meant for all skin types. Yoghurt contains lactic acid, which helps in lightening the skin and hydration. The net weight of this masque is 80 grams. It retails for Rs 185.

The packaging of this product is very classy and attractive. It has a white squeeze out tube which is white in color and has metallic look alike flip top lid. It is not at all flimsy. The masque has thick consistency and is rich in texture. It is creamy and has a wonderful fragrance. It is to be applied in generous amount.

Before reviewing this, I have applied it roughly four times. To be honest, this product does no magical job as the packaging claims. The only benefit it provides would be moisturization; other than that there’s really nothing to say about it. This product is highly a disappointment. The packaging surely tempts you to add it into your shopping cart, but it is not worth spending on. ‘White Glow’ range was launched for whitening effects, but unfortunately it provides none! (By the way, why people want to transform themselves into whites, I do not understand.) This product can only be recommended to those who have extremely dry skin and would like to pamper themselves with fancy goodies. In all, this product neither brightens the skin, nor firms it.

If a product is only going to provide moisturization, then why would people invest on such masques, rather than a good moisturizer?

RATING- Do not even ask for it. Hardly worth 1 out of 5.  Fancy packaging is not going to change its content!

You can totally skip on this product!!

Sugar Ace of Face Foundation Stick in 25 Macchiato - Swatches & Review

Shedding away all my laziness 😂😂
Here I am today, scribbling a blog post on one of my recent makeup purchases from the brand Sugar Cosmetics. In case you guys don’t know, I was awestruck by makeup hoarding addiction again and ended up buying more than what I initially intended. Although I had my eyes glued on their Smudge Me Not Lipstick in the shade Wine & Shine (Sangria), I also managed to pick up their much-hyped Ace of Face Foundation Stick! This particularly base product was first launched with 6 shades but now they have introduced 22 shades that will go absolutely well with almost all Indian skin tone. And no, that isn’t just a false claim like another well known Indian brand which we’ve seen since our childhood.
Let’s dive into the review without any digressions!

MamaEarth: Shampoo + Conditioner Review | Happy Heads & No More Tangles

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!

Exploring A World Within: Ethnic Outfit Ideas - OOTD - Monsoon Diaries

"Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself."
Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
When I started my journey as a blogger, I shied away from being captured in pictures. For some odd reason, I was always missing from school pictures, group pictures and a lot of other pictures. On top of that, my introvert personality stopped me from doing outfit posts on a regular basis. So until now, majority of my blog pictures revolved around flatlays and product photography. #ComfortZoneAtItsBest 😂

In fact, my phone’s memory contains more pictures of flatlays than it has of me. This is also one of the reasons why my WhatsApp DP stays without a picture. P.s. no, I haven't blocked you 🙈

Now that I feel that I’ve improved a lot in terms of my flatlay photography, I incurred a realization that aesthetics of picture touches a top notch when there’s human element incorporated. Not necessarily my face but probably my hand, hair …
