L'oreal Infalliable 6 Hour Lip Gloss

Hello Ladies!
I hope you all are enjoying your weekend; and those who are bored, are surely welcome to this blog :)

Today I am going to review L’oreal Paris Infalliable 6 Hour Lip Gloss in the shade- ‘Petal’. Shade number of Petal is 105. First of all, what caught my eyes was the 6 hour claim that the company made. I am not a big fan of lip glosses, especially in summers, because I sweat a lot; plus who wants something sticky on their lips when it’s hot as hell! After a long battle in my mind, I finally decided to pick it up, so as to review this for all you guys out there.

Coming straight to the packaging, it has a weird shape which converges in between like the waist of an attractive female (LOL). The lip gloss bottle is made of tough plastic and has a metallic reflecting lid which works perfectly as a mirror (until it gets its share of scratches). I didn’t happen to notice that the lid can be used in such a manner, until; I read the top of it which says- “mirror underneath”. It comes with a sponge applicator which works pretty well.

‘Petal’ is a mute pale pink which has golden shimmers in it. If applied on its own, it looks nude pink but high on shimmering part. Whereas if applied as a top coat on lipstick, it would lighten your lip color a bit and add moisture. Moving onto the claim, this lip gloss does not last up to 6 hours; but has higher staying power than other lip glosses. It stays for approximately four hours. Now let me throw the trump card. This lip gloss is so hydrating that it leaves your lips moisturized and baby soft even after you wipe off the product. Even the shimmers do not completely disappear. In all, it is a great lip gloss which works extra time. Retail price of this gloss is Rs 850 (price may have been hiked) for net weight of 6.3 ml product.

RATING- 8.5 out of 10

P.S.  If you are wondering why the statue (displayed in pictures) has brown chin, then assume that it has either gone off playing in sand or has gorged on variety of chocolates before getting clicked! :D

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask

Bloggers Event: #PoutItRight with Jaquline USA's Lip Pops Matte Lip Tints

Hi Guys Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Last month, I was invited by the team of New U (Dabur subsidiary) on their launch of Lip Pop Matte Tints. I’ve been to their events before and previous one, I presume, was the release of their BB Stroke Nail Enamel. Now they have also incorporated some vibrant matte shades by the name ‘Back2School’. I must warn you to go visit their stores ASAP as this range has a gorgeous mint shade which I’ve never seen amongst affordable Indian brands!

The event took place in Smoke House Deli at DLF Place Mall Saket (Delhi) in the afternoon. The place had an amazing decor with quirky walls and an interplay of white and grey theme running everywhere. With around 50 bloggers, we got to try out different shades of Lip Pops and nail lacquers that were recently launched in the New U store. I was so excited that I got rid of my texture nail paint then & there and tried the shades that were placed at the counter.
