One Brand Makeup Post- Maybelline ;)

The very famous tagline of Maybelline-
May be she’s born with it… May be its   MAYBELLINE!!”

“Maybelline” is an American originated cosmetic brand which was founded in 1915. It is the world’s largest selling mass market cosmetics brand and is owned by L’OREAL. (Source- Wikipedia)

This post incorporates products by Maybelline which are worth trying and can instantly give you a glammed-up look. With these products, you can create from simple every day makeup look to the Big Fat Indian Wedding look. So here ends my blabbering, and let’s focus on the products :D

For everyday look you can skip foundation and opt for BB Cream. “MAYBELLINE CLEAR GLOW BRIGHT BENEFIT CREAM” is the BB Cream that is available at Maybelline (India) counters. It retails for Rs 199 and contains SPF 21/PA+++. For those who need a concealer can lay their hands on MAYBELLINE DREAM LUMI TOUCH CONCEALER.

MAYBELLINE CLEAR GLOW ALL IN ONE COMPACT POWDER comes in a pastel pink sleek packaging which is sturdy and has a mirror inside. Along with it comes a sponge for application of the product. It comes in 4 or 5 shades. It retails for Rs 199 for 9 gram of product. It has a light weight smooth texture, and is infused with Pro Vitamin C.

MAYBELLINE CHEEKY GLOW (Blush Studio) is a beautiful range of blushes which are affordable yet does not cut down on the quality. It comes in a see through small compact like packaging [super cute;) ]. This blush does contain shimmers but they are so fine that on application they don’t make you twinkle :p. It is soft and not chalky. P.S. you can use “Creamy Cinnamon” shade for a light bronzing or contouring. It would work its best as a bronzer for fair to wheatish skin complexion. It is one of the best selling product by Maybelline. Retailing price of Cheeky Glow is Rs 275. Unfortunately it does not come with a brush or applicator!

         4.) EYELINER:-
Gone are those days when kajal was considered one of the holy-grail items among the makeup products. Kajal has now been over-taken by eyeliner, which has become the quintessential item of a women’s vanity. MAYBELLINE LASTING DRAMA GEL LINER is an intense formulation which claims to last upto 36 hours. It is smudge proof as well as water proof. It comes in plastic container which resembles a glass pot. Thankfully it comes with a brush which has soft bristles (yaay). It retails for Rs 475 for 2.5 gram of net content. You can use it as eyeliner or defining your lower line or as a smudged eye look (it can be smudged within the initial seconds before the liner sets).

            5.)  MASCARA:-
Only the name is enough of the MAYBELLINE THE FALSIES VOLUME EXPRESS MASCARA. As the name suggests, this mascara wand casts its spell in making your eyelashes full of volume. It would erase the need for application of false eyelashes. It retails for Rs 475. By far it is one of the best mascaras available in India.

                           6.) LIPSTICK:-
No look is complete with a little colour to top off your lips. MAYBELLINE REBEL BOUQUET 05 is a beautiful tangerine red which would suit any skin tone. The most impressive thing about this range of lipstick is that they stay for 4 to 5 hours even after meals. After application it moisturizes the lips but on surface it still remains somewhat matte. Orangish colour of this lipstick can be minimized by lightening the lipstick, then it would give effect of a soft red :D It retails for Rs 450.

Sugar Ace of Face Foundation Stick in 25 Macchiato - Swatches & Review

Shedding away all my laziness 😂😂
Here I am today, scribbling a blog post on one of my recent makeup purchases from the brand Sugar Cosmetics. In case you guys don’t know, I was awestruck by makeup hoarding addiction again and ended up buying more than what I initially intended. Although I had my eyes glued on their Smudge Me Not Lipstick in the shade Wine & Shine (Sangria), I also managed to pick up their much-hyped Ace of Face Foundation Stick! This particularly base product was first launched with 6 shades but now they have introduced 22 shades that will go absolutely well with almost all Indian skin tone. And no, that isn’t just a false claim like another well known Indian brand which we’ve seen since our childhood.

MamaEarth: Shampoo + Conditioner Review | Happy Heads & No More Tangles

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
We all love our tresses! In order to sustain a healthy crown of hair, we keep on hunting for homemade DIY recipes or a shampoo that resolves the prolonged hair fall problem. Is it merely me who has been seeing a lot of hair fall since a year or two? I’ve altered my shampoo to figure out what is the actual cause for the same and it appears as if the inherent genes and my eating pattern is what causes a lot of shedding of hair. Recently, I tried the Mamaearth’s shampoo and conditioner duo which I believe was the part of their Anti-Hair Fall kit which is priced at INR 999. The kit intrigued me a lot and I’m glad I got to try out two products from that kit so that I don’t end up spending a thousand bucks. If you’re wondering how these products fared for me, stay tuned and keep on reading!

Exploring A World Within: Ethnic Outfit Ideas - OOTD - Monsoon Diaries

"Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself."
Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
When I started my journey as a blogger, I shied away from being captured in pictures. For some odd reason, I was always missing from school pictures, group pictures and a lot of other pictures. On top of that, my introvert personality stopped me from doing outfit posts on a regular basis. So until now, majority of my blog pictures revolved around flatlays and product photography. #ComfortZoneAtItsBest 😂

In fact, my phone’s memory contains more pictures of flatlays than it has of me. This is also one of the reasons why my WhatsApp DP stays without a picture. P.s. no, I haven't blocked you 🙈

Now that I feel that I’ve improved a lot in terms of my flatlay photography, I incurred a realization that aesthetics of picture touches a top notch when there’s human element incorporated. Not necessarily my face but probably my hand, hair …
