Recently, when I visited a local beauty store, I inquired about Miss Claire products; on absence of which they offered to show me budget friendly lipstick. Thank god, I gave my consent for them to go ahead. When the lady began to lay the product on table, I felt a hole burning down in my pocket. So I confirmed the brand name again. What she placed on the table looked very similar to Revlon Colorburst Matte Lip Balm which retails for Rs 800. Yes the packaging looks identically similar like Revlon Colorburst’s Matte Lip Balm.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Lip Balm was something I would have liked to buy but because of its price I force stopped myself since I am still a student, and do not earn. The product I am going to review is- “7 HEAVEN’S PHOTOGENIC CHUBBY LIP CRAYON”. As per the packaging, it is a hydrating and moisturizing lip crayon. Net weight is 3 grams. The shade which I bought is 509- Very Magenta. First of all, it glides smoothly like butter on lips. With lip crayons, you really don’t need a lip liner underneath since it has a slight nib. As per the claims on its packaging, it does fulfill them, i.e. it really is hydrating. The only problem with it is the staying power. If you try to wipe it off, it would glide off immediately (as easily as you applied it). But then as per the price, you cannot expect it to stay all day long!
In all I would say it fared pretty well with me. I won’t mind re- applying a lip colour. It is ideal for daily basis usage. Once you lay your hands on this lip crayon, this is going to go straight among your favorite beauty items. About the shade 509- VERY MAGENTA, this colour would definitely suit all skin tones but would look fabulous on medium to dark complexion ladies. I personally don’t wear intense colours, reason being - a.) My dad does not like his kids to apply makeup (because kids are beautiful without artificial help) and b.) It makes me look mature than my age (and then I am asked If I am the elder sister) LOL. So I gave this colour to my sister (elder) who loved it and straight it went into her vanity!! ;) She loved it and the first remark she made on applying it was- “This is one of the right choice you made today.” :p
