SHADE NO. – 361
Lakme Satin Enrich is one of the budget friendly lipsticks that are offered by Indian brands. It comes in variety of shades. Recently Lakme launched few new shades among Lakme Satin Enrich range with completely new and sturdy packaging. The one that I am going to review is from the old launched ones.
It comes for Rs 230 to 260.
The packaging of this is solid and travel friendly. It comes in dark purple sort of packaging. The cap of it is not at all flimsy.
It suits all skin tones (yaay)
SHADE NUMBER- 361:
I am one of those newly entered makeup world, so I stick to pink and nude shades for my lips. Recently I got interested into buying a red lipstick but not like a brick red one but more of a softer red. My search rested upon this shade. It’s a wonderful orangish red which has shimmers in it. These shimmers do not go over- board but give a subtle hint of it. The colour can be build up with multiple swipes.
HOW IT FARED FOR ME:
You do not need to separately moisturize your lips before application, unless you have extremely dry lips (perhaps in winters). It glides on smoothly. While application it seems soft but after few minutes it goes into a somewhat matte effect. It stays for 2-3 hours, only if you’ve not engaged in eating or quenching your thirst. After a snack it gets lighter in colour and leaves off a tint which still looks good. The lipstick does transfer to whatever you eat. It is nice for those who do not mind touching up after 2 hours, and honestly even the Maybelline Rebel lipsticks need touch up after a snack.
1.) Not heavy on budget.
2.) Beautiful Colour
3.) Good packaging.
4.) Does not require a separate layer of lip balm.
There are other brands which are emerging in Indian market who have dupes of Mac lipstick as well, yet their prices is much lower than this one. You cannot un-mindedly spend on it like Elle 18 or StreetWear lipsticks.
RATING: 4.2 out of 5.
