My N*de Lipsticks Collection

Hello readers, Welcome to my blog :)

I am not too much into makeup in real life, especially for everyday purpose. I love my comfort to such an extent that I’d rather go out looking like a mess than being all dolled up and not feeling comfortable. If you ask me about one makeup item that I love the most, that definitely ought to be a lipstick. Earlier it use to be eyeliner, but as I’ve officially started wearing lipsticks, I love them to death and if I’d be sent on a deserted island and asked which one cosmetics you’d wanna take along with you, I’d say bring on a pile of lipsticks.  *LOL*
Even though I am lipstick junkie, I keep my lipstick colours subtle and for special occasions classy. I don’t experiment with too bold colours because I feel they make me look older than I really am. So today, I shall share with you, my n*de lipsticks collection. Hope you like it.

Incolor Colour Crayon Creme (E-01) in Black

Hello readers, Welcome to my blog :)
If you’ve been reading my blogs, then you must be aware about the freebie gift that I received on my order of Incolor Matte Me lipstick from Flipkart. I received Incolor Colour Crayon Creme in black colour. Firstly, it doesn’t resemble a crayon because eyeshadow or lip crayons are usually not so sleek. It appears like the old style wooden eye pencil wherein, you have to sharp it, to obtain a pointed tip.

This eye pencil retails for INR 150. With the abundance of good eyeliner pencils in Indian markets, capable of being water resistant and long lasting, I expected this to be something equivalent to their Incolor Matte Me lipstick in terms of quality. The Incolor Colour Crayon Creme comes in a decent all black packaging with labelling done in silver. The problem with wooden eye or lip pencil is the product gets wasted upon sharpening but I had sharpened this pencil twice and there emerged no wastage, only the pencil shavings.

I swatched this pencil fir…

Incolor Matte Me in the Shade No. 415

Hello people, Welcome to my blog :)

I was watching Neerja on Star Plus and the speech delivered by Shabana Azmi made me emotional to such an extent that I had to switch off the TV.  *LOL*
Few days back, I ordered the Incolor Matte Me lipstick from Flipkart. I ordered on Monday evening and I received the package on Friday. While I was placing the order, my cart displayed two items but I had ordered just one. I opened the details and the second product wasn’t charged for. It was only then that I realized that I received a freebie gift. The seller name was AeroRetail. Although, the reviews about the seller weren’t quite impressive, my order came sealed and decently bubble wrapped. I bought the Incolor Matte Me lipstick at the retail price of INR 353 (including Rs. 30 as shipping fee) for net weight of 6 ml. The availability of this product is quite an issue and since this product does not come with a price tag, these are sold by different sellers are varied rates. For instance, my friend bo…

Easy Teal Liner Makeup Look for Summers

Hello people, Welcome to my blog! :)
It’s been a year since I initiated my blog journey. Honestly, it isn’t a cake-walk. There have been days when I’d contemplate is my blog going the right direction? Shall I continue? As you post blogs, you start getting familiar with the workings of blogger. You gotta scrutinize in dim light your own path and research about changing themes (not those that are offered by blogger), clicking pictures, technicalities of lighting for blog photography, background, etc. Sometimes, it feels kind of alienated when your friends are discussing about mundane issues and at the back of your mind you are wondering whom to ask about how to create a drop down menu in your blog page. Of course you don’t wanna keep blabbering about blogging with your friends because not everyone will be willing to hear your problems of it. Further, you choose to not disclose to all about your life as a blogger. I guess, each day you learn something new and it’s like establishing a fully…

Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Lavender Essential Oil

Hello people,

When I hadn’t started writing for blog, I read so many posts and articles about the goodness of Lavender oil. Lavender oil can be used for so many purposes. For instance, it can be incorporated in your hair oiling routine and it works like the song of Jigglypuff from Pokemon to make you fall asleep. The essential oils are concentrated and shouldn’t be used like normal oils. They are always advised to be mixed along with other oils. Lavender oil helps in relaxing your muscles. On the days when your tiny feet feel stiffed, soak them in warm water and pour few drops of lavender oil into it. Had feet been bestowed with speaking abilities, they would tell you how thankful they’ve been with such a pampering process. Further, it can also be used on skin as it has anti-bacterial properties.  The key is to dilute and not to use it directly.

I haven’t got a chance to use essential oils from any other brand, but this one from Blossom Kochhar is pretty nice. It has a wonderful sooth…

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick (pearl)

Hello people,

I had been eyeing Revlon Lipsticks from quite some time, but being a student I don’t like to spend 500 bucks on a lipstick. I always look for alternative affordable options because firstly I haven’t started earning as of now and secondly there are so many affordable options available so why to burn a hole in the pocket. Perhaps once I start earning, I can indulge myself in buying fancy stuffs; I hope you know what I mean. This lipstick that I will be reviewing has been gifted to me by one of my relative as she knows how fond I am of makeup and I was truly excited to try this out.

430: Soft-silver Rose is a beautiful soft pink shade which has shimmers into it and these shimmers are visible even when I wiped off its swatches from my wrist while clicking pictures for blog. Basically, like a pearl, this lipstick gives somewhat a silver shade and provides slight duality in the lipstick color. The texture of the lipstick is soft like a lip balm; it does not settle into fine line…

7 Heaven’s Color Stay 2 in 1 Liquid Lipstick

Hello people,

I know I’ve reviewed so many 7 Heaven products already, but if a company is selling on trend makeup items at affordable rates, then why not? These days, unknown and small brands are coming up with such amazing products; for instance Incolor, 7 Heaven, Miss Claire, etc. I’ve seen these 7 Heaven Liquid Lipsticks in a local cosmetic shop quite some time back. He told me these were like hot cakes in his shop but I assumed it as one of his marketing tactics. Then once I saw this being used by a makeup artist on my friend while she was getting ready for her sister’s engagement. Believe me, that day; I had my eyes on my friend’s lipstick in order to see the staying power of these liquid lipsticks. And it bowled me over because she did not touch up and we had a family meal together and still it remained intact. Life of a beauty blogger- stuck at issues which aren’t important for usual people *LOL*

Next, I saw these at a trusty old local cosmetic seller shop (not the same as the on…
