Jovees Gold Ultra Radiance Face Wash

Jovees Herbals is an Indian firm which started off with 24 products. Last year it celebrated its 10thyear anniversary. ‘Jovees Ultra Radiance 24 K Gold Face Wash’ is specially developed using latest scientific methods to help bring glow & radiance to your skin. It shall help to mitigate fine lines, making your skin look younger. It claims to be for all skin types. Retail price of this product is Rs 165 for Net Weight of 50 ml.

Jovees Gold Face wash comes in a white opaque squeeze out tube, with all the information and details written in metallic gold. It does not have a flip open cap. Since the details were written in metallic gold, it was hard for them to be clicked for review. The tube is made of plastic and its lid is quite sturdy. It works perfectly fine if you want to pack it for travelling.

The most fascinating thing about this product is that this face wash has golden glitters in it!! :D It looks quite similar to the sparkle we all used in our school days for craft works. Ama…

Lotus Herbals White Glow Yogurt Skin Whitening & Brightening Masque

Saying its name itself was so tiring!! LOL
Lotus Herbals White Glow Masque is enriched with Yoghurt and Bearberry extract. The brand claims that this product brightens, revitalizes and firms up the skin. Supposedly, it is meant for all skin types. Yoghurt contains lactic acid, which helps in lightening the skin and hydration. The net weight of this masque is 80 grams. It retails for Rs 185.

The packaging of this product is very classy and attractive. It has a white squeeze out tube which is white in color and has metallic look alike flip top lid. It is not at all flimsy. The masque has thick consistency and is rich in texture. It is creamy and has a wonderful fragrance. It is to be applied in generous amount.

Before reviewing this, I have applied it roughly four times. To be honest, this product does no magical job as the packaging claims. The only benefit it provides would be moisturization; other than that there’s really nothing to say about it. This product is highly a disappointment.…

Clean & Clear Oil Free Moisturzier

Clean & Clear is a trademark of Johnson & Johnson, U.S.A. It launched a variety of products targeting teenagers who are prone to acne. They offer their products at budget friendly pricing and are easily available in India. The company claims that this moisturizer is oil-free and does not clog pores. It contains salicylic acid, which helps in preventing pimples and blackheads. The net content of this bottle is 100 ml and it retails for Rs 80.

The packaging of this moisturizer is utterly cute. It is a white plastic flip top bottle with purple lid, as well as the printing done. The bottle has somewhat oval shaped structure. It is quite sturdy and travel friendly.

The moisturizer is neither too runny nor too thick. The consistency is quite appropriate. It makes your skin feather soft. It is ideally made to suit facial skin. It is lightweight and does not make your skin feel sticky. For an initial minute it would feel you have applied a moisturizer, but after a minute it settles down…

Streetwear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick

StreetWear is a budget friendly range of cosmetics offered by REVLON. As per their price, they do not fail to serve quality. StreetWear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipsticks offer variety of shades, some of which are quite identical to MAC lipsticks. Today I’ll review the shade- “VERY VAMPIRE”.  This shade has no restriction to compatible complexion; it suits pretty much all skin tones. Earlier these lipsticks were sold off like hot cakes at the price of Rs 180 (really affordable); but now its price has been hiked to Rs 220. Although, still not expensive, but sudden appraisal of Rs 40!

The packaging of this lipstick is black and has comic characters drawn on it; certainly like female characters of ‘Archie’ comics. This animated young lady has short hair, forms a pout at you, and even winks :p While the lipstick bullet is black, its lid is transparent in color, for you to identify the shade from the top. I never tried to throw it on the floor to test its durability (LOL) but it really is st…

D.I.Y. Acne Scars Lightening Methods

Acne is certainly identical to an evil spirit, which leaves behind its horrors. On dispelling of acne, your face still does not become blemish free. The next main concern remains of acne scars. These are hard to vanish. They engrave themselves deep within the skin and their roots are hard to chisel. This is the reason why it takes hell lot of time for them to recover on their own. Acne and its scars do not exist simply on skin surface but are embedded multiple layers within. So, the healing process needs external help for quick recovery. This article would guide you through different natural methods to lighten acne scars. These methods would incorporate easy to find products that are readily available in your kitchen. Let’s begin.

1.)LEMON, HONEY AND TURMERIC PASTE:- Squeeze out juice of half a lemon and add a pinch of turmeric to it. Remember, do not add too much of turmeric because it will make your face look yellow. Now, add 1 tsp of honey if you have dry skin. For oily or combinati…

Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara

Lakme is one of the greatest Indian brands which started off with low budget products but later revamped itself into a major brand. Lakme had disappointed me in past. Many of its cream based products caused me irritation and bumps, for example Lakme Sunscreen. This is why I was never excited in trying out their products. The question that arises now is why did I buy Lakme mascara then? Firstly, for a beginner it suited my budget and secondly because the packaging stated it to be a curling mascara.

Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara comes in a black and turquoise packaging similar to the Eyeconic Kajal. It has an unusual shape which makes me resemble its wand. The mascara has a slight bend (that is why it kept rolling on floor while I tried to capture its image). It retails for Rs 300 for net content of 9ml. This product claims to give your eyes intense black finish. Now let’s zoom away from the packaging and move ahead to the product. The product has a slight bent in its mascara wand excl…

Faces Magnet Eyes Kajal

When Maybelline launched its Colossal Kajal, I felt deceived. I dearly love Maybelline but the intensity of blackness that was shown in advertisement varied from the actual product. Plus at price of Rs 199, I wouldn’t buy a Kajal that did not fulfill its claims. Kajal, one of first vanity product of every single girl, shouldn’t be too pricey. Since then I never bought Colossal Kajal. Kajal makes my eyes small so I clearly stay away from them now, but I did have used them during my school days. Then why did I buy “Faces Magnet Eyes Kajal”? I bought it for daily eyeliner use. Now let us look at the claims that this kajal makes:-         1.)    Lasts all day long.         2.)    Extreme Black Kohl         3.)    Vitamin E enriched         4.)     Water proof         5.)     Smudge proof This kajal can be used for defining the waterline as well as a liner. Net content is 0.3 gram.

The kajal comes in red twist up packaging. When the name mentioned- ‘magnet’, I thought the kajal would have a cap wi…
