More on Key Ingredients:

▶Barbary Fig – Contains polysaccharides that are known to provide moisture, leaving your skin gently hydrated.
▶Winter Melon – Exhibits anti-oxidant properties that keeps skin healthy, protected and rejuvenated.

Packaging: The Himalaya Herbals Oil Free Radiance Gel comes in an outer packaging of cardboard box with all the information as to how the product can be used and its constituents are imprinted over it. Inside you’d find an opaque glass jar with screw open lid of dark green colour. After the removal of the lid, you’d find a white separator which helps in protecting the lid from content spilling and falling beneath it. This also makes the packaging travel friendly & of course leak proof. Since it has a glass jar, you can simply pack it up in your suitcase amidst layers of clothes. Although, I’ve travelled with the same to my college and never really faced any hardship.

My Experience:
I detest the feel of any moisturizer on my face & for that matter; even a foundation after some time makes me simply wanna wash my face. This is solely the reason why, moisturizers are a strict NO-NO for me. In fact, some years back I was introduced to Dr. Reddy’s Venussa Moisturizing cream which is comparatively light but after some time the sweating does take over. And then I was introduced to Fuschia Vkare’s Oil Control Gel which gives a menthol sort of feel. As a person with oily skin, gel based things work much better for me. Cream based products, especially hydrating, makes my skin breakout! So this is how, I ended up picking this up at Himalaya Stores. I’ve never seen anyone except makeup brands displaying their products for testing before you actually invest upon them. But Himalaya Stores had a corner wherein you can try products before adding them to your card; although not every product was their but some definitely were there.

The packaging of heavy opaque jar might not be travel friendly for some but at this price point I must say the packaging is kinda fancy. It also comes with a segregator plastic cover which sits beneath the main green lid for saving the product from any kind of spillage. The fragrance is subtle & sweet. If you ask me anything that is replicated by this fragrance, I can't really answer that. Since it’s a gel, the consistency isn’t creamy but of course gel like! On application, it immediately gives a slight cooling sensation & also gets absorbed within the skin pretty fast. But it caters what its meant for; that is hydration. About the radiance part, I can’t really say that anything unusual can be noticed. But you can definitely use this for moisturizing purposes as well as for usage just before you apply your base makeup. Somewhat this gel & Coloressence’s Makeup Base Primer gives an identical feel to the skin. It doesn’t make your face oily which leads to sweating. My experience with Aura Vedic’s Skin Lightening Formula was such wherein it made me sweat much more than usual.

Pros:
❤Fancy Packaging; as can be seen within Expensive Products
❤Gel Base which works well for combination to oily skin type
❤Does not cause sweating due to no creamy texture
❤Hydrates the skin without sticky feel
❤Gives subtle cooling sensation
❤Gets absorbed really quickly!

Cons:

👉Jar is made up of glass which makes it heavy and prone to breaking.

Rating: 4.0 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Final Verdict:
If you have a combination to oily skin type & you seek a subtle moisturizer and this one at its price point is really amazing!

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

3 Best Toners for Combination to Oily/Acne Prone Skin

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Today’s post is an in-depth discussion on toners in general, what’s been trending lately and inexpensive toners that are available in case you have a skin type that synchronizes with mine. Now, it’s as hard to classify my skin into one genre as a Myer’s personality test’s results. In short, probably those given two options won’t be enough to understanding my personality. Anyways, let’s cut short weird examples and focus on to the topic that has been raised. Naturally, to initiate further this discussion, we need to discuss what a toner is and why we need one in our lives.

WHAT IS A TONER? Male or female, we are entering a no-gender biased zone. The concept behind toners is that the facial skin, even after the process of cleansing, is left with trails of pollution, bacteria, dust or for that fact, some makeup. Moreover, the harshness of chemical components endowed within the cleanser may affect the pH level of your skin. So in order to revers…

Cute Box March 2018 Edition - Women’s Era | Unboxing & Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Is anyone out here, bitten by the bug which is commonly known as the hoarding disorder? Did I just hear a ‘yes’? Well, you’re not alone in this because you’ve got my back, girl. Be it lipsticks, makeup products, skincare, cute packaging, empty bottles or containers, nail paints, stationery and what not; I love storing them all. My mind would weave a scenario wherein I’d really need these. There are times when I would assume that a particular container will be using for some DIY project. But that hardly happens. Currently, I’m thinking about making a terrarium. They are hell expensive on websites and I ain’t going to spend that much on mere plants. If I do manage to create one, I’d probably also make a blog post dedicated exclusively on that. Today we shall be unboxing an affordable jewellery subscription box which has been available in India since few months.
So as I was saying, jewellery is bae! Be it rings, bracelets or earrings; you will…
