Loa – Miracle Oil | How to Use | Review + Price

Hola Peeps!😃

How are you guys doing? Today I’m here to review for you all the LOA – Miracle Oil. So without any delays, let me first begin by introducing you guys to the brand.

About the Brand:

The motto of Loa is to bring people back to Nature. Within the brand name, “L” stands for Land, “O” stands for Ocean & “A” stands for Air. Their sourcing as well as ingredients are completely chemical free and refrain from cruelty practises such as Testing on Animals. The founder, Spencer Angeltvedt started his journey 5 years back at a time frame when he encountered a stage wherein nothing possibly worked for his sensitive & dry skin. This provoked him into research and hence the miraculous oil was invented! Their sole belief being – “At LOA, we believe in the power of plants to heal and protect our bodies and want to get close to our natural way of living as much as possible”. Packaging: Loa Miracle Oil comes in a simple glass bottle packaging. The lid can be removed by rotating the same. There’s a plastic stopper placed onto the bottle with a small hole on it so as to retain overflow of oil while pouring out the content. This indeed helps in you getting the required amount of oil, i.e. 3-4 drops. Although glasses are fragile but I am glad the product reached me packed very nicely within the box with shavings inside so that the bottle by no means breaks. The packaging is simple yet serves its purpose straightaway!

My Experience:
When this product reached to me, the packaging being simple kinda paved its way to my heart. This is because firstly, we all tend to fall for fancy packaging and most of the time they actually turn out to be a dud product. Not that I’ve never applied oils onto my face! I’ve used natural coconut oil some years back for lightening acne scars and you can also switch to Almond Oil as well; condition being it ought to be 100% natural and not those wherein majority of the oil is Mineral Oil (harmful in long run) and only 20% endowed with almond and the company claims it to be an Almond Oil. If you ask me what tempted me to try the Loa – Miracle Oil is the fact that it claims to work upon acne plus the word “miracle”. And it won’t be wrong if I say in everyday life, we all want some miracle to happen and solve our issues. Reminds you of Disney Movies with its fantastical elements? 😄

In case you seek to incorporate facial oils into your skincare regime, which you must for the nutritional values it provides to your skin and hydration; you have to apply it just before sleeping. Why’s that? A.) You don’t wanna be seen shimmering like a glitter ball! B.) Night time is meant for repairing of the facial skin. When you add on say serum or facial oil, it gives the repairing system more power to work better and faster. When I tried the LOA Miracle Oil, it had an identical fragrance speaking NATURAL for itself. The pierced nozzle makes it convenient for you to pour out only the needed amount and hence save any wastage. Now you can apply somewhat around 3 to 5 drops depending upon your skin type and requirement. I tend to apply either 3 or 4 drops and massage it slightly into my skin in circular motions. It hydrates the skin and for initial minutes, you might feel oily because of course it is oil. But once it seeps in, the oiliness goes away. The oiliness also isn’t the one which makes it feel sticky; so there’s definitely no stickiness. 😊

When I woke up in the morning and it was trial Day 1, I could see my acne (around mouth area and forehead) subside to like more than 50% from what it was a day before and the redness that was there causing inflammation was gone. The thing is whenever I get my upper lip area and eyebrows threaded; my skin reacts badly and gives out acne here and there. On Day 2, the earlier acne described was almost gone in appearance but slight bump, if I’d touch, was felt. By the way, never touch your acne! Also, each morning I could see my skin’s texture improving and appearing hydrated but thankfully no oil felt. I mean upon waking up one day, I felt no compulsion to wash my face for going out on morning walk.

Within like a time frame of 6 days or one week, my acne onto the forehead went flat like a cloth piece goes smooth after ironing! Weird examples, anyone? 😁😁 And one near the mouth, literally accepted its defeat and upon towel drying the hardened whitehead breathed its last. Upon the ageing skin, I’ve read almost everywhere the fact that signs of ageing emerges comparatively more upon those, whose skin is deprived of adequate nourishment. So, this would definitely help in ageing skin as well. Although, I have none so can’t get into that much. Also, this oil helps in Eczema as well.

Pros:
▶100% Natural & Vegan
▶Hydrates the Skin
▶Leaves no Stickiness Behind
▶Works on All Skin Types
▶No Side Effects
▶Keeps Acne at Bay!
▶Helps in Eczema & Ageing Skin

Cons:
▶Glass Packaging – making it fragile.

Final Verdict:
Overall I’m glad upon finding such products that actually work! True to its name, it actually is a bottle endowed with Miracle inside.

Rating: 5.0 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

3 Best Toners for Combination to Oily/Acne Prone Skin

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Today’s post is an in-depth discussion on toners in general, what’s been trending lately and inexpensive toners that are available in case you have a skin type that synchronizes with mine. Now, it’s as hard to classify my skin into one genre as a Myer’s personality test’s results. In short, probably those given two options won’t be enough to understanding my personality. Anyways, let’s cut short weird examples and focus on to the topic that has been raised. Naturally, to initiate further this discussion, we need to discuss what a toner is and why we need one in our lives.

WHAT IS A TONER? Male or female, we are entering a no-gender biased zone. The concept behind toners is that the facial skin, even after the process of cleansing, is left with trails of pollution, bacteria, dust or for that fact, some makeup. Moreover, the harshness of chemical components endowed within the cleanser may affect the pH level of your skin. So in order to revers…

Cute Box March 2018 Edition - Women’s Era | Unboxing & Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Is anyone out here, bitten by the bug which is commonly known as the hoarding disorder? Did I just hear a ‘yes’? Well, you’re not alone in this because you’ve got my back, girl. Be it lipsticks, makeup products, skincare, cute packaging, empty bottles or containers, nail paints, stationery and what not; I love storing them all. My mind would weave a scenario wherein I’d really need these. There are times when I would assume that a particular container will be using for some DIY project. But that hardly happens. Currently, I’m thinking about making a terrarium. They are hell expensive on websites and I ain’t going to spend that much on mere plants. If I do manage to create one, I’d probably also make a blog post dedicated exclusively on that. Today we shall be unboxing an affordable jewellery subscription box which has been available in India since few months.
So as I was saying, jewellery is bae! Be it rings, bracelets or earrings; you will…
