Hola Peeps!

We love our subscription boxes; don’t we? There’s nothing like having too many skincare into your vanity.. And the same goes for lip colours as well. ๐Ÿ˜† The Adore Package recently launched their Beauty Box and I was pretty keen to see what amazing goodies it will bring to me. So let’s jump further to see what I got in my May Adore Beauty Box.

Brand Says: Subscribe Adore Beauty Box to get a monthly delivery of beauty products curated by our experts. Try a variety of products and discover new favourites. Four to Five personalized beauty full sized products delivered right to your door each month. It’s been the best way to find the products you’ll love”.

Theme of the Month: SOAK IT UP!
As Summer peaks we’re taking advantage of every last minute. That means embracing air dried hair, ensuring our skin care is SPF and keeping our makeup minimal”.

Packaging: The Adore Subscription box literally comes in a carton box but with beautiful calligraphy done and sealed via pink cello-tape. I had placed my order on April 30, 2017 and received the same on May 07, 2017. The contents came bubble wrapped individually; well kept within paper shavings. Also, there’s an info pamphlet for all the products that I got, along with their prices mentioned.

Products Received:-
Blossom Kocchar- Aroma Magic Carrot Sunscreen Lotion SPF 15 (50 ml)
INR 95

Blossom Kocchar Aroma Magic Aromatic Skin Toner (100 ml)
INR 100

Nivea Care & Colour Lip Balm (4.8 grams)
INR 200

Fuschia Detox Face Mask Activated Charcoal (50 grams)
INR 250

Fuschia Pomegranate Pearls Face & Body Exfoliating Scrub (30 grams)
INR 150

My Experience:-
When I placed my order, my usual concern was to explore about new subscription boxes which need to be known amongst my readers; so that optimum worth of the money spent can be gained. This is why, I don’t bound myself to more than a monthly subscription scheme. Now, first things first. Their website says “Free Home delivery” (as I’ve mentioned under Benefits heading). I detest paying amounts over subscription box as it can be equated to bulk order and adding more bucks to it seems unjustified. Thus, I was relieved when they charged no delivery money. Also, I ordered the box at INR 499 as they had shared INR 100 off coupon code on their Instagram handle, as an introductory offer.

I am quite glad for the fact that my box arrived well within time! In case of Fab Bag, it comes post half of the month passes away, which leaves very little time for it to be reviewed timely. And no reader would wanna know ‘What I received for the Month of May’ in initial days of June. All products are full sized; which is really great!

If you’ve been a long time reader of my blog; you’d know my love for Fuschia (by Vkare) products. I got two of their products, which is like getting hands onto a ticket which is later declared as a lottery winner! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I am pretty keen to see if they next month include any makeup items because at the same price point Fab-Bag does manage to include one. For this month, I can’t call it a negative aspect as they have kept the theme revolving around “minimal makeup”.

Lastly, I am not sure if you can call it a customized subscription box. There was no form that I filled wherein my skin type was inquired about. This means that the products are sent as per the month (season) and with products that are compatible generally to all skin types. This kind of strategy was also picked up by GlamEgo box; I had ordered in the month of March (couldn’t review it though). So, somethings’ might suit you and few of them may be simply dud.

Full -Sized 5 products
Timely & free delivery
Products received well wrapped

No customization

Final Verdict: Overall I am happy about things that I got, but yes customization, I hope they incorporate soon! Also, a makeup item would seem like a bonus.

Rating: 4.0 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

    1. I loved the fact that all of them are full sized products! :)

  4. Great contents.
I dont know I am tiered of these bags. I would rather buy that one item I want than hoarding onto many which are not even meant for my skintype :)

    1. That's true! Few months back I received something in my GlamEgo box which wasn't meant for my skin type. Such products creates a sense of disappointment and appears like a complete waste of money! :(

  5. Sounds amazing, but what if we receive a product which doesn't suit our skin.

  6. Apart from fab bag I haven't actually used any other but I'd love too :D

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

3 Best Toners for Combination to Oily/Acne Prone Skin

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Today’s post is an in-depth discussion on toners in general, what’s been trending lately and inexpensive toners that are available in case you have a skin type that synchronizes with mine. Now, it’s as hard to classify my skin into one genre as a Myer’s personality test’s results. In short, probably those given two options won’t be enough to understanding my personality. Anyways, let’s cut short weird examples and focus on to the topic that has been raised. Naturally, to initiate further this discussion, we need to discuss what a toner is and why we need one in our lives.

WHAT IS A TONER? Male or female, we are entering a no-gender biased zone. The concept behind toners is that the facial skin, even after the process of cleansing, is left with trails of pollution, bacteria, dust or for that fact, some makeup. Moreover, the harshness of chemical components endowed within the cleanser may affect the pH level of your skin. So in order to revers…

Cute Box March 2018 Edition - Women’s Era | Unboxing & Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Is anyone out here, bitten by the bug which is commonly known as the hoarding disorder? Did I just hear a ‘yes’? Well, you’re not alone in this because you’ve got my back, girl. Be it lipsticks, makeup products, skincare, cute packaging, empty bottles or containers, nail paints, stationery and what not; I love storing them all. My mind would weave a scenario wherein I’d really need these. There are times when I would assume that a particular container will be using for some DIY project. But that hardly happens. Currently, I’m thinking about making a terrarium. They are hell expensive on websites and I ain’t going to spend that much on mere plants. If I do manage to create one, I’d probably also make a blog post dedicated exclusively on that. Today we shall be unboxing an affordable jewellery subscription box which has been available in India since few months.
So as I was saying, jewellery is bae! Be it rings, bracelets or earrings; you will…
