My Top Favourite Nude Lipsticks: Affordable Edition

Greeting Readers๐Ÿ˜Š

If I’d be interviewed any time soon, as to one makeup item that I’d decide to pick in a deserted land, then my pick would definitely be a lipstick! I can give up on any base products or an eyeliner but lipstick, I feel brings a completely different appeal to your look. Bonus being, there are so many to choose from and in case you love things that multi-task; shake hands with me ‘cause we are in this league together!๐Ÿ˜‰ Since we’d focus today upon the nude lippies, then make sure there’s one in your vanity that can double up as a cream contour stick. Smart; ain’t we? ๐Ÿ˜

For a long time, I’ve made sure that my blog posts adhere to #affordable. I, being a university student, have to manage within the set pocket-money. In this journey of exploring budget friendly products, I realized there are tons of them out there, with amazing results too. Today, I shall share with you my top favourite affordable nude lippies. These would be easily available; if not on stores but online for sure. So without any further adieu, let’s begin:-

ELLE 18 COLOR POPS (MATTE) W12 – MAUVE DATE:
In case you follow me on Instagram, I recently posted a picture with swatch of a nude lip color; asking help for shedding my blogger-post blues. Though Elle 18 launched its matte Color Pop shades some time back, but when I saw the shades on counter, most of them appeared dark. Now that I was bitten by a bug to buy something, which always comes down to a new lipstick, I tried some Organic lipsticks; felt unsure about the shades and ended up with this one. Mauve Date is a brown-ish pink color, slightly darker than MNY’s Choco-latte, about which we shall discuss later. It’s pretty much soft and leaves slight sheen. Onto the matte part, if you love your hardcore matte lipsticks, this ain’t for you. This can rather be considered as a soft matte lippy which sets after a lot of time and not into a complete matte finish.

          INCOLOR MATTE ME 415:

If liquid lipsticks are your bae and you’ve been wanting a soft brown lacquer with subtle pink hue; leave everything aside and grab this one ASAP! It’s a beautiful shade for formal or casual occasions. The staying power of it is amazing as well but suggested would be a layer of lip balm underneath. My hand reaches to it pretty much every time and you can never go wrong with this Complete Matte; Affordable; Recommended longevity. Must try indeed!๐Ÿ‘

MISS CLAIRE SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM – 17A:

When in rush, none of us has the time to adequately moisturize the lips and then precisely work the wand of the lipstick. Thus, I always prefer my Miss Claire lip cream ‘cause they glide on pretty smoothly, hydrates the lips and gives you no stretchy after effect. The shade 17A is kinda nude shade for medium to olive skin tone. In case you are fair, the shade 15 A would go well for you. But the reason why I selected 17 A is because it’s quite flattering and won’t wash you off, which tends to be an issue with nude lip colors.๐Ÿ™„

         MAYBELLINE COLORSHOW – CHOCOLATTE:

If you’ve been an old reader of my blog, you’d be aware of my love for MNY makeup. They offer amazing launches for which you don’t have to shell out a lot of bucks! From their ColorShow range, a lot of the shades are a must-have, for all the nude shade lovers. Some of them are: Mysterious Mocha M304, Lively Violet M401 and Choco-Latte 313. The shade Chocolatte (313) is not from their matte collection and is more inclined towards pink than brown. Though it won’t survive snacks or meals and a re-application would be a must with this but it does not settle into the fine lines and thus spares you from flawed, super dry lips.

      7 HEAVEN PHOTOGENIC LIPSTICK – 303 HAZELNUT:

When my blog wasn’t well known; can’t claim that it has attained that zenith wherein everyone knows of it and for that matter, my college-mates too fail to care enough to check it out at a regular basis. All I can say is that it ain’t easy going against the motion of the water, so yeah… Where was I? Oh yeah! The blog-post that derived most of the organic traffic were the reviews of 7 Heaven Lipsticks initially. Not that including this brand makes me think of attracting more internet engagement but then, who would mind that?! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Hazelnut – 303 entered my miniature world of vanity ‘cause of my desire to own a soft brown completely devoid of pink hints into it; kinds like a chestnut shade which I was seeking to buy. But anyways! The formulation is smooth but does not cater sheen. The only drawback being, that you have to swipe the shade more than once. Can’t say it ain’t opaque or pigmented but let’s just say, I like the color on third swipe. Is it just me? ๐Ÿ˜„

With this, we come to the closure of my favourite nude lip colors’ list. Do share with me in comments down below your personal favourite. Also, is there any one of them common between you and me? Hope you liked the post.

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

3 Best Toners for Combination to Oily/Acne Prone Skin

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Today’s post is an in-depth discussion on toners in general, what’s been trending lately and inexpensive toners that are available in case you have a skin type that synchronizes with mine. Now, it’s as hard to classify my skin into one genre as a Myer’s personality test’s results. In short, probably those given two options won’t be enough to understanding my personality. Anyways, let’s cut short weird examples and focus on to the topic that has been raised. Naturally, to initiate further this discussion, we need to discuss what a toner is and why we need one in our lives.

WHAT IS A TONER? Male or female, we are entering a no-gender biased zone. The concept behind toners is that the facial skin, even after the process of cleansing, is left with trails of pollution, bacteria, dust or for that fact, some makeup. Moreover, the harshness of chemical components endowed within the cleanser may affect the pH level of your skin. So in order to revers…

Cute Box March 2018 Edition - Women’s Era | Unboxing & Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Is anyone out here, bitten by the bug which is commonly known as the hoarding disorder? Did I just hear a ‘yes’? Well, you’re not alone in this because you’ve got my back, girl. Be it lipsticks, makeup products, skincare, cute packaging, empty bottles or containers, nail paints, stationery and what not; I love storing them all. My mind would weave a scenario wherein I’d really need these. There are times when I would assume that a particular container will be using for some DIY project. But that hardly happens. Currently, I’m thinking about making a terrarium. They are hell expensive on websites and I ain’t going to spend that much on mere plants. If I do manage to create one, I’d probably also make a blog post dedicated exclusively on that. Today we shall be unboxing an affordable jewellery subscription box which has been available in India since few months.
So as I was saying, jewellery is bae! Be it rings, bracelets or earrings; you will…
