What’s in My December 2016 Fab Bag!

Greetings Readers! 😊😊
By the time I receive my Fab Bag, it's usually somewhere between 13th of the month to 20th. Until then, I would stalk almost all co-bloggers and YouTubers to find out what they have received. Call it inquisitiveness! So without further adieu, let’s see what I got at the end of year 2016 in my Fab Bag. ➤➤

Theme of the Month: The Partyholic 🍷

The Bag: This month’s bag has chessboard print with black squares running all over. Mine is a bronzy orange shade with holographic stripes in between. The surface the bag is smooth and made out of plastic. The insides are covered with a black lining. It definitely is sturdy but when I compared it to the November Fab Bag, the breadth somehow seemed shorter this time (minor difference). The official Fab Bag Insta handle showcased 7 colors in this month’s bag and I really liked the way silver and copper bronze one appears.

Total Worth of Bag: INR 1,222.5/-

Total Cost of Bag: INR 599/- (Mine is a monthly subscription)

Be A Bombshell- Lip Stain:
This is the makeup item wherein the customers were allowed to choose the shade. The one I picked up is ‘Fling’. Not much swatches were available online, so this product was like a gamble. I was sceptical as I doubted if there were any hints of neon. Haven’t tried it onto the lips as of now but let’s hope the shade looks good on me because the longevity is really to die for! It stays for more than 12 hours and feels super light. I swatched it onto my hand and it stayed until the next day! 😍😍

Iba Halal Care- Nourishing Foot Massage Cream
This is a full size product which is meant for nourishment of the feet. The fragrance is that of the jasmine and it does linger on for a while. I tried it onto my extremely dry hands and I’ve decided to use it not merely for the feet but my hands too!😁 It is not at all greasy and gets absorbed within no time. The main ingredients being- Olive Oil, Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula- Skin Therapy Oil
This seems like a product that’s gonna repair the skin from within the dermis. It claims to improve- scars, stretch marks, dry damaged skin, uneven skin tone and aging skin. The rollerball embedded, makes it quite convenient for application. I am really keen to see how this one fares onto my skin. I may review this in detail; comment down below if you want that. 😊

Natural Bath & Body- Thank God It’s Friday! Hair Mist
Last month was a body mist from the same brand. This time it’s a hair mist, the function of which is to dispense fragrance onto your hair strands. The fragrance is kinda sweet and I do like it. Some days, I use Tony & Guy Sea Salt spray which itself has a nice faint fragrance, so for the second hair day I might use this one. I was wondering if I can spritz the same onto my clothes and get away with it! πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‰ It’s a deluxe sample comprising of 50 ml.

Final Verdict: Overall I am quite contented with the products that I received this month. Though again, the bag did not really appeal to me that but then I can use it for storage purposes. In case you wanna try out any of the products or buy your own Fab Bag, click here.

Until Next Time,

Take Care πŸ’–

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

3 Best Toners for Combination to Oily/Acne Prone Skin

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Today’s post is an in-depth discussion on toners in general, what’s been trending lately and inexpensive toners that are available in case you have a skin type that synchronizes with mine. Now, it’s as hard to classify my skin into one genre as a Myer’s personality test’s results. In short, probably those given two options won’t be enough to understanding my personality. Anyways, let’s cut short weird examples and focus on to the topic that has been raised. Naturally, to initiate further this discussion, we need to discuss what a toner is and why we need one in our lives.

WHAT IS A TONER? Male or female, we are entering a no-gender biased zone. The concept behind toners is that the facial skin, even after the process of cleansing, is left with trails of pollution, bacteria, dust or for that fact, some makeup. Moreover, the harshness of chemical components endowed within the cleanser may affect the pH level of your skin. So in order to revers…

Cute Box March 2018 Edition - Women’s Era | Unboxing & Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Is anyone out here, bitten by the bug which is commonly known as the hoarding disorder? Did I just hear a ‘yes’? Well, you’re not alone in this because you’ve got my back, girl. Be it lipsticks, makeup products, skincare, cute packaging, empty bottles or containers, nail paints, stationery and what not; I love storing them all. My mind would weave a scenario wherein I’d really need these. There are times when I would assume that a particular container will be using for some DIY project. But that hardly happens. Currently, I’m thinking about making a terrarium. They are hell expensive on websites and I ain’t going to spend that much on mere plants. If I do manage to create one, I’d probably also make a blog post dedicated exclusively on that. Today we shall be unboxing an affordable jewellery subscription box which has been available in India since few months.
So as I was saying, jewellery is bae! Be it rings, bracelets or earrings; you will…
