Maybelline Color Show Lipstick- 313 Choco Latte: Review, Price & Where to Buy!

Greetings winter lovers! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜Š

Winters is an amazing season when it comes to dressing up; being sweat free, odour free, except for the fact that Indian mothers bombard your food with an extra dollop of ghee or butter and then says “Daughter start going for a walk; you’ve started to bloat”! Yes mother, it aint your ghee’s fault! ๐Ÿ˜ฒAnyways, enough of my cribbing! ๐Ÿ˜…

Maybelline had launched their Color Show lipsticks in the year 2014. No, it’s not like I woke up late to this announcement. I have reviewed some of the shades from the Color Show range earlier, but those were from their Matte range. So recently, I was in a dire need for a nourishing lipstick with neutral colour, because summer has left my vanity brimming with matte lip lacquers. But on an everyday basis, I do wanna retain hydration of the lips. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Without adieu, let’s begin with the review! ➤➤

Claims: Enriched with ultra-care hydrating formula which gives your lips all day hydration. They are anti-oxidant and heat resistant, which guarantees color integrity and does not even fade in extreme heat and humidity.

How to Use: Apply lipstick in the center of your upper lip and follow the contours of your mouth. Glide the lipstick across the entire bottom lip. ๐Ÿ’„

Price: INR 299

Net Weight: 3.6 grams

Buy Online: Grab yours from shopping portals such as Amazon & Nykaa (click onto the website name for direct link to the product).

Packaging: The lipstick comes in a black plastic bullet with a colored band in the middle, where the lid falls when you close it. This band does not depict the shade inside but the color family of the lipstick, for instance- browns, reds, pinks, purples, etc. The packaging is decent, not flimsy and travel friendly.
Texture: Maybelline Color Show lipsticks are very smooth in terms of application. You don’t need to apply a layer of balm underneath; the lipstick itself is quite hydrating and feels light onto the lips. It is quite creamy. ๐Ÿ˜š

Longevity: The lipstick lasts long approximately for 2.5 hours, if you do not intake meals or drinks. It does transfer and need to be re-applied after meals. The color intensity does not stay the same after 2.5 hours and gradually a soft tint is left along with supple lips.

Shade: Choco- Latte 313 is a soft brown with pink undertones. Though the camera does not do justice as it appears more pinkish than brown but in real it’s a beautiful subtle brown for everyday use. It would go amazingly well with medium to fair skin tone. The color is pigmented, even on being creamy in texture.

Pros:
   ·   Simple, travel friendly packaging.
   ·   Texture being creamy.
   ·   Hydrates the lips
   ·   Pigmented
   ·   Longevity is pretty good; also it leaves behind an even tint.
   ·   Affordable

Cons:
   ·   The lip color transfers.

Rating: 4.2 out of 5

Until Next Time,

Take Care ๐ŸŽ”

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

3 Best Toners for Combination to Oily/Acne Prone Skin

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Today’s post is an in-depth discussion on toners in general, what’s been trending lately and inexpensive toners that are available in case you have a skin type that synchronizes with mine. Now, it’s as hard to classify my skin into one genre as a Myer’s personality test’s results. In short, probably those given two options won’t be enough to understanding my personality. Anyways, let’s cut short weird examples and focus on to the topic that has been raised. Naturally, to initiate further this discussion, we need to discuss what a toner is and why we need one in our lives.

WHAT IS A TONER? Male or female, we are entering a no-gender biased zone. The concept behind toners is that the facial skin, even after the process of cleansing, is left with trails of pollution, bacteria, dust or for that fact, some makeup. Moreover, the harshness of chemical components endowed within the cleanser may affect the pH level of your skin. So in order to revers…

Cute Box March 2018 Edition - Women’s Era | Unboxing & Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Is anyone out here, bitten by the bug which is commonly known as the hoarding disorder? Did I just hear a ‘yes’? Well, you’re not alone in this because you’ve got my back, girl. Be it lipsticks, makeup products, skincare, cute packaging, empty bottles or containers, nail paints, stationery and what not; I love storing them all. My mind would weave a scenario wherein I’d really need these. There are times when I would assume that a particular container will be using for some DIY project. But that hardly happens. Currently, I’m thinking about making a terrarium. They are hell expensive on websites and I ain’t going to spend that much on mere plants. If I do manage to create one, I’d probably also make a blog post dedicated exclusively on that. Today we shall be unboxing an affordable jewellery subscription box which has been available in India since few months.
So as I was saying, jewellery is bae! Be it rings, bracelets or earrings; you will…
