Mini Haul: tmart.com & ohcutebox.com

Image
Hello everyone,
Today was a day of parcels. I knew my books shall be arriving from Amazon and later I received a text message that my Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream shall also be delivered today. I ordered these from a website known as ohcutebox.com. I had initially planned to go Impressions Store in Karol Bagh (Delhi), but none of my friend’s decided to accompany me because I had asked my guy friends for the same and they were like we ain’t going for buying makeup. *LOL* Perhaps weather too is to be blamed, so I got them ordered and finally they arrived. When I returned back from college, they were proudly standing with their heads held high over the dining table, waiting for me, to pick them up. The shades that I have are- 15A and 17A.

Rewind a little. While I almost reached my society’s gate, the guard stopped me and he handled me a packet that said China Post. Few days back or may be a month ago, I had ordered an eyeshadow palette from tmart.com. Tmart offers a variety of dupe pal…

Skin Yoga Coffee Body Scrub: Review & Price

Image
This last month was slightly tough, especially this week. I was kinda juggling college, internship and blogging. The evening when I was finally done with internship, my immediate reaction was let me celebrate by having a full fledged ROYAL shower. *LOL* Lately, I’ve been using the Skin Yoga Coffee Body Scrub which makes me slight excited for the monotonous activity of bathing. I received this body scrub in my July Fab Bag.

The first thing that took away my heart was the coffee fragrance that hits you when you open the exfoliator packet. When I took out small amount of it in my hand, I felt I was wasting away coffee and it’s going down into the drain. You’d surely by now understand my love for coffee, though I have to restrain myself due to acne issues. The exfoliator granules work amazingly well and after some time starts to melt as you scrub it more.

My hands, from wrist to elbow have been severely damaged due to sun tan when I was in my graduation and reaching Delhi University and b…

Pep Moisture Velvet Shampoo: Oat Protein

Image
Hello everyone,
My Skullcandy earphones stopped working: /
These costed me INR 800 and I thought why not make it special for my new phone. I don’t know why, all my earphones end up getting ruined because one of their earplugs randomly one day stops working when I have a bus journey ahead for college. They survive maximum for 3 or 4 months and by then I have to buy new ones. Is it only me? Is it the fault within my stars? *LOL*

Today I shall be reviewing Pep Moisture Velvet Shampoo which I received in my July Fab Bag (post here-http://lyfabubble.blogspot.in/2016/07/unveiling-fab-bag-july-2016-edition.html). This shampoo comes in a small plastic bottle with pastel lemon cover which is kinda cute but bad in terms of photographing. Anyways, it has oat protein milk and intends to nourish the hair. It claims to provide softer and more manageable hair. Since I have thin hair, I run away from words like ‘conditioning’ or ‘moisturizing’ because they make my hair weigh down and limp. Ironically, F…

Sugar It’s A Pout Time: 01-The Big Bang Berry

Image
Hello ladies,
I don’t know why, but whenever I hear the name Big Bang Berry, my mind diverts itself onto Big Bang Theory and I imagine Sheldon knocking consistently on the door calling Penny :D :D I received this lipstick in my July Fab Bag; you can read what I got in my Fab Bag here- http://lyfabubble.blogspot.in/2016/07/unveiling-fab-bag-july-2016-edition.html
Other subscribers, who have opted for 3, 6 or 12 month subscription, were sent an email so that they can choose their favourite lipstick shades. I, being a one month subscriber wasn’t asked about my preference and I received the shade ‘Big Bang Berry’. I really wanted to try out their new shade launch ‘Peachy Little Liars’ and the already launched one ‘Breaking Bare’. In fact, I had ordered ‘Breaking Bare’ few months back from Sugar Cosmetics website but after few days since I ordered, I received an email that the lipstick was out of stock. This kind of annoyed me because if it was already stocked out, then why were they still o…

Unveiling Fab Bag: July 2016 Edition

Image
Hello people,
I had been waiting for my July Fab Bag and finally it arrived. I had placed the order on 3rd July and received it on 16th July. This is my second Fab Bag purchase. If you are one of those who have subscribed to Fab Bag for 3, 6 or 12 months; you would have received an email for selection of the lipstick shade. I have had no long term subscription and I order Fab Bag only if I feel the products are worth investing onto. My main temptation being the Sugar It’s a Pout Time lipstick. You can buy your Fab Bag from here - http://www.fabbag.com/women.html

Theme of July month being- “The Hello Gorgeous”. Once is unboxed my parcel, I saw a cute looking imitated leather pouch that is blue in colour and has lipstick marks all over it. My Fab Bag cards were carelessly packed which did manage to put me off. This time I received 2 extra cards, one being a gift voucher from Aeom Couture and another being a coupon code from Flyrobe. I haven’t checked out their websites as of now but wo…

*New* Garnier Ultra Blends Revitalizing Shampoo: 5 Precious Herbs- Review & Price

Image
Hello everyone,

Recently, Garnier came out with their Ultra Blends shampoos in five variants. I had initially seen these in Big Bazaar racks and I could not pick them up as my mother and sister was busy picking up other kitchenware stuff. After the advertisement went on air, these are quite easily available in drugstores. I had intentions of picking up the Lavender one but the shop wherein I went, had it only in three variants. So, I picked up the 5 Precious Herbs variant.

The packaging claims it to be a paraben free shampoo with natural extracts, meant exclusively for everyday use. Also as per the labelling, it would help in providing a healthy scalp and strong, bouncy hair.  It retails at INR 55 for net content of 75 ml. The 5 herbs infused within this shampoo formulation are – Green Tea, Lemon, Henna, Aloe and Eucalyptus. The shampoo comes in a pastel green travel friendly plastic packaging with golden lid which has a leaf inscribed onto it.

The texture of the shampoo is slightly run…

Gillette Venus Razor

Image
Hello Ladies,

Summer is all about feminine pastel skirts and sleeveless tops. To carry off these wonderful wardrobe pieces, well shaved limbs are an essential. Since my first horrendous experience at hair waxing, I was determined to never go back and pay people for causing immense pain by pouring over some hot wax and tugging the hair strands off by pulling the waxing strips. To most of the ladies, waxing might not appear such a big deal. But personally, I am unwilling to bear it once more. I tried removing my armpit hair with hair removal creams. While they worked fine on hands and legs, but onto the underarms, it managed to swell that area within 2 minutes. So by far, my life depends only upon a razor for hair removal process. There are so many myths that revolve around a razor usage for women, but none that I personally experienced of becoming true.

Earlier, I’ve used Gillette’s Satin Care razor. But since the launch of Gillette Venus Razor, I’ve never looked back upon any other thi…

Products I Regret Buying!

Image
Hello people, There are always those purchases which remain in your storage and you’ve hardly used them because they simply aren’t worth it. My dad hates abundant tubes and bottles lying around in bathroom which is why I throw out anything that I feel serves me dissatisfaction. I usually avoid brimful of chemicals as my skin is weirdly rebellious and sensitive. Products that break outs my face, I’d rather get rid of them then cause further damage by using it. So, let’s begin with the post, shall we?

VLCC Radiant Fairness Day Cream

Well honestly, I by no means endorse fairness related products because I believe they are also to be blamed for colour discrimination that is so rampant, even in countries wherein majority of the people have beautiful olive skin. This VLCC Radiant Fairness Day Cream was bought when my sister used to have her treatment going on with their centres. The staff there sang about goodness of their products and because it was my sister’s pre wedding days, she had to in…
