Incolor Colour Crayon Creme (E-01) in Black

Hello readers,
Welcome to my blog :)

If you’ve been reading my blogs, then you must be aware about the freebie gift that I received on my order of Incolor Matte Me lipstick from Flipkart. I received Incolor Colour Crayon Creme in black colour. Firstly, it doesn’t resemble a crayon because eyeshadow or lip crayons are usually not so sleek. It appears like the old style wooden eye pencil wherein, you have to sharp it, to obtain a pointed tip.

This eye pencil retails for INR 150. With the abundance of good eyeliner pencils in Indian markets, capable of being water resistant and long lasting, I expected this to be something equivalent to their Incolor Matte Me lipstick in terms of quality. The Incolor Colour Crayon Creme comes in a decent all black packaging with labelling done in silver. The problem with wooden eye or lip pencil is the product gets wasted upon sharpening but I had sharpened this pencil twice and there emerged no wastage, only the pencil shavings.

I swatched this pencil first on my hand and immediately tried smudging it with my finger. The pencil stroke got smudged very easily; in fact it even got faded to such an extent that hardly any colour trail was left behind. I thought perhaps I am smudging it too quickly and not giving it time to settle. So, I waited and guess what? It still managed to get smudged! Overall, I’d say this eye pencil is something that you can completely skip upon. If you even intend to use it for a smokey eye, then you have to set it with a black eyeshadow, otherwise the formulation would smudge even on the places where you don’t want it to be. As an eye pencil it fails terribly. This pencil is soft like Street Wear Color Rich Kajal, but even that one was much creamier in texture than this one.

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

3 Best Toners for Combination to Oily/Acne Prone Skin

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Today’s post is an in-depth discussion on toners in general, what’s been trending lately and inexpensive toners that are available in case you have a skin type that synchronizes with mine. Now, it’s as hard to classify my skin into one genre as a Myer’s personality test’s results. In short, probably those given two options won’t be enough to understanding my personality. Anyways, let’s cut short weird examples and focus on to the topic that has been raised. Naturally, to initiate further this discussion, we need to discuss what a toner is and why we need one in our lives.

WHAT IS A TONER? Male or female, we are entering a no-gender biased zone. The concept behind toners is that the facial skin, even after the process of cleansing, is left with trails of pollution, bacteria, dust or for that fact, some makeup. Moreover, the harshness of chemical components endowed within the cleanser may affect the pH level of your skin. So in order to revers…

Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask - Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Apparently, there are lots on skincare brands which are available internationally and I’m yet to try them out. Some of these brands, enclosed within my wish list include The Body Shop, The Faces Shop, Clinique, etc. Thankfully, Nykaa was running an offer on The Faces Shop skincare range wherein you could grab a full-sized freebie product. While I was surfing the catalogue, I encountered the “self-heating” mask which kept me intrigued enough to add it to my cart. I kid you not, there have been times when I’ve legit done window shopping online as well! 😃😄 I see trillion of things and later I’m like – “Do I really need this?”
And the mind always answers – “Of course not, girl!” 😂
A lot of the times, I force myself to hear the sensible talk of my mind. But sometimes, the heart takes over and it springs in joy to say “Woah! That’s too pristine to be denied”. This is exactly how I ended up purchasing Jeju Volcanic Lava Self-Heating Clay Mask
So…
