Apollo Pharmacy Deep Nourishing Moisturizer

Hello people,

This cloudy weather encourages me to hibernate for long hours and not get up at all. This is why this post is being written after so many nagging excuses that my mind made. These days, all I dream of is good food!  *LOL*  Whether it be summers or winters, my limbs are always dry and flaky. It is so incompatible with my facial skin. Sometimes I feel that my limbs are like an amalgamation of veggies for salad, because none of it match with another, be it for skin color or skin type. I’ve used multiple body moisturizers and none of it has managed to sustain for the whole day; which is why I stopped using them. But these days, I feel shy due to my flaky hands.

When I saw Deep Nourishing Moisturizer by Apollo Pharmacy, I picked it because the packaging claimed that it contains Olive Oil and who isn’t aware about its benefits. Also, it is enriched with Vitamin E. It retails for INR 50, which is quite easy on the pocket, for the net content of 100 ml. The product comes in a plastic flip top squeeze out tube which is quite convenient for travelling. The labelling is quite simple, nothing fancy, with details written in black and green accentuated olive made.

The fragrance of this moisturizer so deeply resembles the classic Boroline Antiseptic cream. In fact, the texture of it is also identical but slightly less thick then that of Boroline. It gets absorbed easily by the skin and does the job of hydration quite nicely. I first tried it on my face while sleeping at night. Honestly, it isn’t apt for facial application because it is quite oily. Preferably, you should apply it on your hands, knees, legs, etc. It stays for more than 6 hours but gets washed away once you wash it off. One use that I figured out of it is to use it as a makeup remover. I remove all my liquid lipsticks using this first and then washing my face off with a face wash. It helps in gliding off the long staying makeup.
