Xiaomi MI Redmi Note 3 Review
Hey Guys!!
My mobile started to give up on me since last year in
December. Somehow, I was still letting it work because I didn’t want to ask for
a new one as I’d been demanding a new laptop too. Last month, the sim slot
stopped reading my sim and my father got it confirmed that there’s no way out
to save this dying being! I had heard immensely good reviews of MI and had
intended to buy one as they are budget friendly but high on features. I googled
and came to know about this model. The MI phones aren’t easily available.
There’s no showroom as such wherein you can buy these. You can grab it through
online sales on websites such as Amazon or http://www.mi.com/in/
I bought mine through Amazon sale and believe me it isn’t
easy to lay hand on one of these through online sale. In all, I had attempted
thrice and this one I had hoped to be the last time I’d try in. I made my other
two friends suffer with me as they tried to sit through the sale, see the stock
gone to 100% claimed and yet not be able to figure out why it didn’t make up
till our cart! Although it was quite funny, yet slightly disappointing too. The
one my friend managed to order for me is in Gold. There are three colours
available- Silver, dark grey and gold. On our third sale, I assumed that gold
would be the first colour to get stocked out so I tried hard for the dark grey
one. Finally my other friend too managed to buy one as he really wanted to gift
one to his girl-friend.
If you wanna know more about its features or specifications,
visit-
It retails for INR 9,999 and comes with a sim key, warranty
card, USB and a charger. What really disappointed me is that it does not have a
set of earphones along with it. Another thing which bugged me is that once I
signed into Google Play-store, I was unable to remove that account of my from
this phone. If somebody is aware how to remove it, then please suggest. The
phone comes with a fingerprint scanner that is placed at the back panel and you
can add two finger print scans that can unlock the phone. Besides the
fingerprint scanner, it can also be unlocked using a numeric pin. The front
camera is 5 MP while the primary camera is 16 MP. It has internal memory of 16
GB but it can be extended up-to 32 GB. There are two sim slots; for micro as
well as normal sized sim. While I was scrolling through the phone, I
encountered the MI Remote feature wherein you can convert your phone into a
remote control for various appliances. As of now, I haven’t tried using this
feature. There is also an option of READ MODE wherein the light of the screen
turns slightly yellow. This feature is for those who are glued to their screens
till late night and hence their sleeps are ruined. Lastly, there’s GUEST MODE
which I should definitely tell you about! Sometimes someone asks you for your
phone and you don’t want them to see certain things. That’s where READ MODE
helps you out. You simply click onto the GUEST MODE and your phone will just
show basic programs as if the phone is almost new and you’ve not added in any
pictures or data.
Below are the pictures that I took from my mobile using the
primary camera-
Overall, I am in love with this phone. Yesterday I went to
various Electronics shops in order to buy a tempered glass for it. At one such
store, the helping person came running to ask me if he can see my phone for a
second! *LOL*
He was like, “How did you managed to procure this mobile?”
My Brother replied, “It takes hell lot of hard work man!
Keep Trying”. *WINK*
Until Next Time,
