Xiaomi MI Redmi Note 3 Review

Hey Guys!!

My mobile started to give up on me since last year in December. Somehow, I was still letting it work because I didn’t want to ask for a new one as I’d been demanding a new laptop too. Last month, the sim slot stopped reading my sim and my father got it confirmed that there’s no way out to save this dying being! I had heard immensely good reviews of MI and had intended to buy one as they are budget friendly but high on features. I googled and came to know about this model. The MI phones aren’t easily available. There’s no showroom as such wherein you can buy these. You can grab it through online sales on websites such as Amazon or

I bought mine through Amazon sale and believe me it isn’t easy to lay hand on one of these through online sale. In all, I had attempted thrice and this one I had hoped to be the last time I’d try in. I made my other two friends suffer with me as they tried to sit through the sale, see the stock gone to 100% claimed and yet not be able to figure out why it didn’t make up till our cart! Although it was quite funny, yet slightly disappointing too. The one my friend managed to order for me is in Gold. There are three colours available- Silver, dark grey and gold. On our third sale, I assumed that gold would be the first colour to get stocked out so I tried hard for the dark grey one. Finally my other friend too managed to buy one as he really wanted to gift one to his girl-friend.

If you wanna know more about its features or specifications, visit-

It retails for INR 9,999 and comes with a sim key, warranty card, USB and a charger. What really disappointed me is that it does not have a set of earphones along with it. Another thing which bugged me is that once I signed into Google Play-store, I was unable to remove that account of my from this phone. If somebody is aware how to remove it, then please suggest. The phone comes with a fingerprint scanner that is placed at the back panel and you can add two finger print scans that can unlock the phone. Besides the fingerprint scanner, it can also be unlocked using a numeric pin. The front camera is 5 MP while the primary camera is 16 MP. It has internal memory of 16 GB but it can be extended up-to 32 GB. There are two sim slots; for micro as well as normal sized sim. While I was scrolling through the phone, I encountered the MI Remote feature wherein you can convert your phone into a remote control for various appliances. As of now, I haven’t tried using this feature. There is also an option of READ MODE wherein the light of the screen turns slightly yellow. This feature is for those who are glued to their screens till late night and hence their sleeps are ruined. Lastly, there’s GUEST MODE which I should definitely tell you about! Sometimes someone asks you for your phone and you don’t want them to see certain things. That’s where READ MODE helps you out. You simply click onto the GUEST MODE and your phone will just show basic programs as if the phone is almost new and you’ve not added in any pictures or data.

Below are the pictures that I took from my mobile using the primary camera-

Overall, I am in love with this phone. Yesterday I went to various Electronics shops in order to buy a tempered glass for it. At one such store, the helping person came running to ask me if he can see my phone for a second!  *LOL*

He was like, “How did you managed to procure this mobile?”
My Brother replied, “It takes hell lot of hard work man! Keep Trying”.   *WINK*

Until Next Time,
Take Care :) :)

My Cutesy Stash - Miniso Haul Unleash!

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Side Story - I intentionally changed the font of this blog post; reason as such is nothing but I decided to break-free from the monotonous font type. But unfortunately, the font decided to bug me later on so I ended up with the same comforting font.
In today's blog post, I will be sharing with you all my recent haul from the store of Miniso. For people who haven't encountered a Miniso outlet as of yet, Miniso is a well known Japanese brand which brings to you a lot of quirky and cute stuff which is reasonably priced and none of your money will go wasted, trust me! They have an amazing collection of utility products from the genre of beauty, kitchenware, stationery, electronics, accessories, etc. Moreover, the prices of these products start from INR 150 and the maximum, I believe, is around INR 1000, that too for PU bags.

Recently, I happen to discover another Miniso Delhi store which was mere 2 metro stations away from where I live.…

3 Best Toners for Combination to Oily/Acne Prone Skin

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨

Today’s post is an in-depth discussion on toners in general, what’s been trending lately and inexpensive toners that are available in case you have a skin type that synchronizes with mine. Now, it’s as hard to classify my skin into one genre as a Myer’s personality test’s results. In short, probably those given two options won’t be enough to understanding my personality. Anyways, let’s cut short weird examples and focus on to the topic that has been raised. Naturally, to initiate further this discussion, we need to discuss what a toner is and why we need one in our lives.

WHAT IS A TONER? Male or female, we are entering a no-gender biased zone. The concept behind toners is that the facial skin, even after the process of cleansing, is left with trails of pollution, bacteria, dust or for that fact, some makeup. Moreover, the harshness of chemical components endowed within the cleanser may affect the pH level of your skin. So in order to revers…

Cute Box March 2018 Edition - Women’s Era | Unboxing & Review

Hi Guys, Welcome back to the Glistening Lane ✨
Is anyone out here, bitten by the bug which is commonly known as the hoarding disorder? Did I just hear a ‘yes’? Well, you’re not alone in this because you’ve got my back, girl. Be it lipsticks, makeup products, skincare, cute packaging, empty bottles or containers, nail paints, stationery and what not; I love storing them all. My mind would weave a scenario wherein I’d really need these. There are times when I would assume that a particular container will be using for some DIY project. But that hardly happens. Currently, I’m thinking about making a terrarium. They are hell expensive on websites and I ain’t going to spend that much on mere plants. If I do manage to create one, I’d probably also make a blog post dedicated exclusively on that. Today we shall be unboxing an affordable jewellery subscription box which has been available in India since few months.
So as I was saying, jewellery is bae! Be it rings, bracelets or earrings; you will…
